This place is not great. Go to Dave and Buster's because the people and food there are so much better. Bought all day activity passes but they did not open the gravity ropes course and laser tag was "booked for the next couple hours" because of birthday parties. So we proceeded to bowl one game, waste $$$ on mediocre food and then spend $80 on video games because we couldn't use the activity passes on anything else. This place is a waste of time. Spend your money somewhere with better customer service and attractions. They are understaffed and not very crowded and cannot run a decent business. Fats Cats is far better as well. Wish we would have gone somewhere else. read more

Bring a full wallet as it's not cheap even on a Sunday night 4 of us to bowl for only one hour and one lane was $54 then if you want to play air hockey you must first it's a game card for two dollars then whatever the game costs are because it won't take cash. They have shuffleboard for nine dollars an hour am omg may other things. If you do bowl make sure you put your picture and they have some funny animations. We did have fun I must say. read more

Decided to head to Main Event just after 10pm last night Saturday 12th December 2020 with our daughter for her to experience the obstacle course for the first time after we (her mom and her dad) failed the last three visits of completing this activity. Called just in case to find out the hours and packages because we haven't been there on a weekend before which the receptionist on the phone confirmed that they were open till 2am and the special was the same; bowling, laser tag, obstacle course etc for the $19.95.......Awesome! We immediately took Uber and got there, approached the front desk to pay only to be told that the obstacle course was closed due to a customer falling off from unbuckling her own harness. Now, my heart goes out to this customer and I hope they have a speedy recovery. However, this was a huge disappointment for us because this was the main reason we came here tonight; to have our daughter experience the obstacle course for the first time. It was unethical that we were provided this sort of information by your staff Aliyah. It would have helped if the receptionist on the phone when we called, had told us this activity was temporarily closed for the rest of the night instead of telling us it was included in the package and making us head down there especially that we were told it had happened over an hour ago when we got there. After standing there debating if we should stay to enjoy other activities or not, when asked the same receptionist Aliyah what was going to be compensated for the obstacle ring, she, without any hesitation or attempts of customer support basically said to us that it is what it is and tried telling us that theres no need for compensation as the other events are far worth the price. We felt be-littered. It costs $19.95 including the obstacle course regardless. We are now one activity short and are still being asked to pay the same price!!! Another lady, assuming that she was the manager came over and was whispering in the receptionist ears enquiring about what's going on and basically were shaking her head saying no......no, there's no compensation and walked off with an attitude not even acknowledging us. Mind you, all we were asking was to be fair....have good business ethics. A good manager, at the minimal would have introduced herself and apologized for the unforeseen circumstances. After she left, I enquired her name and it was confirmed that she was indeed the Manager; Tommy. Even more appalling. Come on Main event. Is this the service you provide to your customers? Why do you have a Manager representing your brand there that doesn't provide any bit of customer support? Appalling and distasteful. We walked out. Whilst waiting for our Uber outside, they sent one of the boys working there to tell us if we come back in they will give us 3 free passes for the laser tag on our next visit. No Aliyah and Manager Tommy, this does not make this right. It does not take away how you both be-littered us at the beginning and your customer support was non existent. Had the Manager actually do her job and actually attend to us, communicated to us, things might have turned out differently. We will never come back to your establishment nor recommend this place to anyone. A place is made up of its workers and how its being managed. I thought this place was great! I got the summer pass & felt as though I got my money's worth. Bowling atmosphere was great. We played around with their camera option on the bowling monitors. Laser tag was fun, but they didn't give out official start times so I felt as though the game wasn't fair or didn't have official "sides". (Hey laser tag is competitive). Ropes was fun too We only ordered the thai wings & parmesean garlic fries. Those were so good!!! We decided to bowl here during our visit to Phoenix/Tempe. They feature current arcade games, billiards, laser tag, gravity play, and bowling. They have a restaurant and serve food and drinks at the lanes as well. The waitress was very friendly and checked in on us twice, although we did not end up ordering food. The complex is very clean (even saw an employee scrubbing down the arcade games) and features music and fun lighting effects at the lanes. I like how they had the bowling balls organized by weight and size; very organized and easy to find what you want. Cons: We waited to be helped at the counter and several staff members saw us and didn't come over to help. We paid $30 for one hour of bowling, which seemed a bit steep. read more

The arcade area is just simple and actually pretty basic. They have a small reward store with very limited choices and tons of candy options. They do have a lot of cool attractions like a obstacle course over the arcade area, laser tag, virtual reality, billiards, pool, and shuffle board. Went here for my sons birthday party and all and all, the customer service here is absolutely TERRIBLE. We accidentally spilled a cup of water and they handed us towels to clean up instead of cleaning it up for us. The worst part about it, is that it was before our food came; disgusting. Our server didn't even talk, to us; she put our drinks on the counter behind our bowling lane with no heads up or anything. We were sold on bowling with the workers telling us if they aren't crowded, we can keep bowling, after the hour without any charges and then when it was time to get another game while we are waiting on our pizza, wings and fries they then told us we would have to pay again; which isn't what we were told originally. Also, my pregnant wife handed her shoes to one of the workers asking for a size bigger for her bowling shoes and he said "yes of course" and never came back as I had to go to front counter to retrieve it myself. We made a reservation on line for bowling for an hour. The website doesn't allow reservation of more than an hour, so we called to reserve a second hour, but were told they "must be full" without actually checking. We did reserve the second hour on the website. When we arrived, our temps were all taken and a "masks required" sign is posted, but more than half the customers in the arcade area and waiting in line not wearing masks. We eventually got our lanes and even though we booked them together, they were two lanes apart due to COVID, which was fine. Almost no one in the bowling area is wearing a mask, and not because they were eating or drinking. It just simply isn't enforced anywhere at this establishment. We spent $200 for 6 adults to bowl for 90 minutes, two drinks each. I guess that's not too bad @ $30/each. I recommend this as a place for teens - a lot to do in an incredibly loud environment. There are better choices for adults - any regular bowling alley. read more

Normally I would give this main event 5 stars until today, I went there and played a few games that I'm good and the card reader went to "max payout unawarded tickets" because I won a few jackpots and this worker named Camden said that "they're is a limit on how many times we can swipe/clear out the max payout" when they're clearly isn't because I've gone to other Main events and I have never been told this by any team member or manager. Then this manager Kelsey wasn't helping either she pretty wanted me out of the store and wasn't trying to solve the issue. One manager that I know from this location named Drew, he has always helped me when this occurs and he has seen me as a regular many times and knows what to do when a game goes to "max payout." This place is super expensive, and there's a catch to all of their pricing. Get an arcade pass but the catch is you don't get any prizes. Get the all day pass but the catch is it doesn't include any arcade. But the one that really annoyed me was "kids eat free" on Tuesday's. It's a complete lie. The catch is, you have to buy an 8.99 meal entree and then a kid is free. So if you take 5 kids, you're basically still spending 8.99 on 4 kids and that 1 kind of eats free but I still have to spend money? Ridiculous. read more

Took my 9yr daughter and 6yr old son for our first visit today. We had an amazing time! The young lady cashier was super helpful and kind. The food and drinks were good. Laser tag, gravity ropes, arcade were all super fun. Big thanks to a special young man, Bryan, who frequently and patiently helped the kids with the gravity ropes. He also went above and beyond and played laser tag and arcade games with them. He helped make their visit more fun and special. We went to Main Event today so that my family and I could have some fun on Father's Day and what a bad idea that was. We loaded up a card for $100 so that we could play all the games we wanted, and the first game we tried was Skeeball and that was broken, but was there a sign indicating it was broken? Nope, all the lights and sounds were working but when we scanned, no balls came out. So we moved to another game and after a couple different ones we came to a VR game, which my wife and son tried, 19 credits each player and nothing, so we lost out there also. Then we decided to go bowling, the girl at the front desk seemed like she wanted to be any place but there and was on her phone the whole time. We paid for an hour of bowling, got assigned lane 21 and entered our names and went to play and you guessed it, nothing. I I pushed the intercom button, no one responded, I finally found someone who worked there and he didn't know what to do with the bowling alley, so we had to wait for someone in a black shirt. Now all this time our time is ticking and we can't play, finally after 20 minutes she got the lane to work. We played our time, so now we didn't get reimbursed for the game credits we lost AND the bowling time we lost. Biggest issue was though that we sat down and not a single service person came and asked us if we wanted any food or drinks or anything, yet they immediately asked the people in the lanes to our immediate left and right if they could get anything. Now who knows maybe we didn't have the right LOOK but that was that and we ended up walking. End told, we spent $100 on a game card, $50 something on bowling and got not even an in sorry much less any credit. read more

This place is a total waste of time and money. I went here with some friends and bought the $20 unlimited play pass which, by the way, isn't accurate. It doesn't include the arcade at all, and you still have to pay the extra fees at the bowling alley. My friends and I decided to make our reservations for laser tag, since everything else had a several hour's wait time. Out time was for 9:15, so we showed up at around 9:10, waited in line, and were then told there wasn't enough room because some other patrons snuck in without the required reservation. The worker told us that his manager said to let them through anyway, and we could be rescheduled for a different game almost an hour later. By this point, we'd been there for over an hour and had done absolutely nothing, so we decided to ask for a refund and go somewhere else. The manager upfront refused to return our money without ever giving a reason why he couldn't. If it's company policy, then just say so. Don't deceive your customers. Twenty dollars and two hours down the drain. Go to Dave and Buster's instead. Heck, even Chuck E Cheese's would be a better Saturday night. read more

Ok so I have a lot to say about this place, first and foremost the food is always cold once you receive it, the food I received lastnight was undercooked and not enjoyable at all. If you want crappy service and never receive things you ask for well this is the place. My friends and I went in lastnight and yes it was a packed night however the server we had was pretty racist, let me explain. He saw 3 black girls and immediately began stereotyping us. Might I add this is the first time that I've ever been treated in such ways in my life. I carry myself with a very high standard. When he was taking our order he began calling us (Ma) also when we asked him for straws for our drinks he then replied (I got that thang right here) honestly it was beginning to become very annoying and rude and my friends and I felt very discriminated against that we asked the manager for another server which he didn't seem like he cared too much as well. We left and didn't tip. Mind you servers work for there tips and I understand that because I was a server for years but unfortunately I'm not able to tip if your service was offensive and poor also he disappeared for 40 minutes, we asked him for things prior before him leaving and we never received any of it. This is not my only poor experience here it was also when I came with my husband as well, service was still the same. I will not be returning to this place and will be telling my friends and family about my experience here as well and also advising them not to go as well. read more

We came to celebrate a birthday with a group of 10 adults... stood at the horrific bar for 34 minutes before any one of the slow as molasses bartenders even acknowledged us... again 34 MINUTES!!! Every seat at the bar top had a dirty glass or plate on it. Even the tables had plates and dirty dishes all over them... no manager, busser or extra hands in general were around to help the 2 bartenders that were getting destroyed on a Saturday night... I will probably never come back as it was my first time and waiting that long for a "what do you want" from some poorly trained and supported bartender left a bad taste in my mouth. The Management needs to FIRE the bartenders. Went 12-7-19 and they had 4 bartenders that were worthless . They don't know how to interact with paying customers, super slow, and they have no idea how to make money. I ordered my drink and did not leave a tip because they were the worst I have ever encountered ... Clue: When you are super busy and have a line of customers , don't worry about trying to divide the tips up at that time, and get customers their drinks, you worthless guys cost yourself so much money from lost revenue and tips. I will never go back just because of the horrible service I received from the bar.... FYI. We came here to have a good time. Place is terrible. Manager is terrible. Games were broken over and over and they would not refund. We came across multiple folks who had the same issues. The manager asked for security to escort US because we were impatient. Lol. All of this after we went to multiple games and paid over $2 each and they couldn't fix them and told us to wait in long lines. Ever hear the term time is money? We went to the Main Event in Tempe today because we were turned away by the local Dave & Busters. My boyfriend and I took his little sister to go out for a day of fun in some AC, and were told we could not enter D&B because he and I were under 25 with a minor, we are both 21. So we huffed, turned around and left. We found out there was a Main Event in the area and went there instead, where we were more than welcome to enter. We not only were treated by a friendly staff, but we were even give a free game of laser tag as compensation for having to wait a little longer than promised for the rope climber we had originally paid for. Fun environment to go kill some time or for a night out of the house. Overall the place is just not as well maintained as it should be. Went today and was a little disappointed in some of the details. They have a game that is for kids to win tickets that is based on a fireman putting out fires (it squirts actual water). It seems like the water was almost completely dried up and little squirts came out here and there between sputtering and bursts of air. I tracked down one of the employees who was literally playing a game when I was looking for him. He swiped his card to try it out and was kinda staring at it and half playing it... he just kinda let it go, no offer to put the $1.35 or whatever back on my card, or even a "sorry about that! I'll get it fixed now" Went to change a diaper in the family bathroom and the changing station is broken to the point where I had to put my knee under the front of it to keep my son from rolling onto the floor while I was changing him. We played some games that gave out cards and chips instead of tickets and when I took them to cash them in at the prize room (like they do at Dave and Busters) the girl in the prize room told me "oh! You use those out there to play the game, we don't cash those in". I asked how and she said "honestly I've never played that game... no clue." There is a kiosk where you put them all in and cash them into tickets to put on your card but I had to ask more employees to even find that machine. Overall it wasn't a bad experience and I would still go back, but it's those little things that can make or break an experience and today definitely wasn't a 5 star visit. read more

I ahead a great time. I love this place. Reason for 2 stars-we had to ask 4 employees to get us a waiter at the bowling lane. Not only did that cut into our bowling time but the fact that we had to ask MULTIPLE times and when we asked why we hadn't seen a waiter the response was, "I can't find the waiter that is servicing this area" Horrible response. We didn't even have glasses of water yet and it had been about 30min. I work in customer service and hospitality, this was a horrible response and the fact that the people we asked still couldn't find another server for us. It'll take a lot for me to go back there. Went their Saturday afternoon for a cousins bday. This location is super GHETTO!!! Well let me rephrase that " Most of the EMPLOYEES do give two shits how they treat you". With the exception of the waitress a heavier set girl who did great at hosting us on the dining side. Do not waste your money or time there. I was trying to get my name down for the bowling which was over an hour wait and the young girl that does the bowling sign ups was Insisting I couldn't get on the list (not sure why cause we had the unlimited wrist bands). She kept getting worked up and gave me the NASTIEST attitude, that I had to tell her to relax. To say the least she got so worked up and acted like she was ready to fight. I had to remind her she was at work and her coworkers had to push her back. Meanwhile the MANAGER - was standing right next to her the whole time and not once spoke up to intervene GHETTO!! She eventually got pulled away and some other girl was able to assist me, she herself didn't seem to happy to help. The whole time I was there she was talking about me with her friends and mugging me. Mind you I'm just there trying to have fun with my family and the kids, I would've put her in her place had she really stepped up to me, that's how crazy it was. I ain't mad at her for her foolishness- life will teach her but the managers IGNORANCE is the problem. The Manager not once apologized for the behavior. Anyways this place has 0 customer service, I witnessed the other manager on the food side snatching the pins away from the children when they were playing on the shuffleboard. Couldn't even say anything just straight snatched. Their employees must HATE their lives there cause that's the attitude they walk around with. If you buy the unlimited wrist band it's a waste of time as you have to sign up for the only 3 things you can do and its at least an hour wait in between No wonder they only have 3 stars!!!! I went bowling here twice now on non busy weekday afternoons. It was next to impossible to get a drink at the lane. It's like they don't want your money or something. Wasn't crowded at all and servers weren't busy. Finally I figured out the secret. Leave your lane and walk over to bar to order it yourself and bring it back with you. This place has potential to be very fun they just need to get their customer service in order. Edit: I've been back 3 or 4 times since my original review and the service has been much much better. My niece had a birthday party here. the party host who walks through your party events was great. She smiles and was patient with the children. overall the party experience was excellent staff was helpful and friendly. The food is why it gets 3 stars the menu didn't even look desirable, to cluttered with stuff. the Pizza was burnt even the children didn't eat it. The family that ordered off the menu well the food presentation was not inviting at all. I'm all about a good time with good food and I was very disappointed. Main Event, overall, was a blast for a party of 5! We took advantage of the summer pass deal, about $20 per person, to bowl, laser tag, high rope, and pool unlimited! You really can't beat that deal. The staff were mostly friendly, they make everything simple to understand. However, the high ropes woman was a bit on edge, which I understood it was already around 11 pm, but she didn't make it the best experience. Bowling was a lot of fun and the simplicity of choosing a bowling ball makes it easy for those who don't frequently bowl. All you have to do is choose a weight, then the size of your fingers. This helped to prevent discomfort for my fingers that I usually get while bowling. Laser tag was loads of fun! It's cool that you don't know who's team you are on until entering the play area, which prevents any unfairness of teams. They give a lot of time to play, enough until we were all out of breath. I had a great time here! Only fix would be to be a little more clear with high ropes, checking in, time allotted, etc. read more

Yesterday was my second time attending another Company event at This same location. One exactly a year ago In December and one Just yesterday. so the place is great it fun and Energetic and very clean, especially the dining section. The Drinks are great and the bartenders for these events are amazing ! So polite, so fast, and all three of them will make sure you are taken care of even if you didn't order a drink from them. All of the food is constantly on rotation and there is very little time a pan stay empty. Ok, this is where things get Weird.... But before I mention the incident, Management here took action very quickly when I brought it to their attention. So we came up to the obstacle course area next to laxer tag and where wanting to get up there. The native girl with the very short hair with the NASTIEST attitude made all of us go around the corner where we got the harnesses and she proceeded to tell us "I only have three openings so maybe you guys can just comeback another time" And SNATCHED, not grabbed... SNATCHED the harnesses away..There were several of us that were waiting, she not only could of started a very violent altercation with people who were there, because of her violent behavior towards us as customers, there were several of us that she did that too and some of those people where people's children..and believe me, there people there even more pissed then I was. After she snatched them away we all left and walked off really embarrassed, I talk to the manager and he was very nice and very helpful. I usually do not care to much about customer service, however, this was a different situation, this one was clearly going to be a very scary scenario because of how she talk to, treated, and physically handled people. It had to be said, but overall I will not let one bad apple ruin the bunch. The place is pretty amazing. I love the bowling! This event I did was mid day so we didn't get the cosmic experience like I did at my own company party last year, but it was a family event yesterday anyway so there a lot of toddlers including my own and they are 1-4 and they also had a blast. Keep in mind my corporate events Reserve the entire building for hours with no public access till it's over...imagine your company spending that much money there and being treated like that. read more

This is a great place.I had a blast last Christmas my company had our company party there.They had food drinks very nice staff plus it's a great place for everyone the whole family can enjoy themselves really a enjoyable place .The whole place was a blast i recommend going here for all occasion or just for a fun night out the money you spend is worth it the experience you have is priceless. Went here yesterday and it was a terrible experience. The people that work there are teenagers that hate their job. Our lane kept getting stuck and since we paid for an hour, it was literally eating into our time. When we asked for a different lane (there were two open ones right next to us) their response was "I can't give you that lane because someone has to wipe it off". Um ok, so get someone to actually do their job and wipe it off? The front desk girl was playing games on her phone while I was talking to her, no one came by to help after numerous attempts to get them to fix the lane, and after the fourth time asking for help, they finally cleaned the lane next to us and gave us the lane. These were the laziest group of people I have ever seen. Management needs to step up and hire new staff, otherwise they'll be losing other customers as well read more
