Against all better judgement I decided we could eat here. The service was decent given that it was Monday and nearly empty. The food though. They try so hard to make it feel like a restaurant that you'd want to go to and then drop the ball hard. The food is disgusting. We had the """deep dish pizza""" and the triple dip. The triple dip - there is about 3 oz of dip per tray. The queso had a thick skin on it. It he salsa was sugary and tasted like Walmart brand pace. The guacamole was gray green. The taste was akin to questionable leftovers. The pizza - how do you mess this up? Sam's club pizzas are amazing and cheap. To charge 20$ for something worst than school cafeteria pizza is a level of audacity that a freshman frat boy would envy. It might as well have been a French bread pizza from the gas station. We had a party of 11 and took advantage of the 4th of July special. We loved bowling, playing laser tag and games. The facility is crisp, clean and bright. The food is tasty and looks as advertised. This is such a cozy place for the entire family. Trinity, the manager on duty, the staff assigned to bowling and even the greeter at the front door were welcoming and answered all of my questions we had a great time! read more

Warning you can not USE kids bowl free physical coupons . you have to have the website but you have to have it for 24 hours. they refuse to budge despite us asking if we printed them ect. The staff was clueless and a bit rude answered no then yes to this. The manager is just as not going to take the coupon either (said they dont get paid if they dont do it on the site which i know is not true). DESPITE them advertising the kids bowl free apparently can't figure past technology and use paper.. Only reason we stayed was because the kids needed something to do during a storm so arcade. Warning 2 the noise level because of the set up is HORRIBLE with the games ect so if you get overstimulated bring headphones. Yep, unfortunately if I can get a .5 rating I'll put it in. .5 is for the manager who tried to help. Staff is horrible in providing clear answer. Story: Bought 2 bowling lanes, $120+. Our play time should be 3:30pm. Went to the bowling alley and was told there was no available spot and that our party was not in their system. We asked for the supervisor/manager was very apologetic and tried to get us for a 3:45pm. We're okay with it. In fact spent another $135+ for arcade credits to wait. 3:36, we went to ask of we can get shoes, nope. We have to wait for the lane that is being used to vacate before we cane go get our shoes. We appreciate the manager, it's the staff, the younger staff that needs a little training about customer service. It would down to the attitude of your staff. We understand the wait, the inconvenience can be mend by having nicer/courteous staff. Y'all are in the entertainment/hospitality business. If things doesn't work good, it should be atleast be treated with better attitude and not with stern or rudeness. Reading the ratings made me agree. This branch sucks! We end up asking for a refund. Bar area of their restaurant: Staffing issues, one person was trying to take care of a banquet and help others at the bar area. Bar counter top was dirty. Finally another employee came to assist and took our order, then our limes were served in a dirty, lipstick-covered glass. We reported it but the GM or store Manager haven't been interested as no response. The two staff were friendly and tried their best. They need help/more staff. We continued our evening and had fun playing games. If this is indicative of the facility, makes you wonder what their kitchen looks like?! read more

Five star to this main event truly amazing enjoyed the ambience. The lanes were hot depends were breaking and the Dippin Dots are flowing in the new vending machine thank you man event for making our night so special and fun also had some nice cold cocktails to enjoy why the kids played their video games we will definitely be back to this five star main event. read more

It seems like the every time I go to this location we have type of service related issue. We called today about the restaurant wait time. The person on the phone said now wait. We arrived and were told 40 minutes. That is not that big of an issue. The issue was with the host at the restaurant. He couldn't care less about what we were told and had an attitude like we should have been happy that he was talking to us. I asked for clarification on the wait time and was rudely told that it hadn't changed. You won't find me going to this location again. read more

Its a good spot but to be honest I'll rather drive to Austin's. Just because there is more activities there for the price to play video games, the service I have never really been happy with, two times that we tried to sit and eat we hade to get up and leave. Good service at the bar and great service at the prize counter, but service at the bowling lanes is so bad it cancels everything else out. When the booth wouldn't accept our gift card and we asked for help, we were told someone would be coming to help us. Fifteen minutes later when we asked again, the personnel at the counter copped an attitude. When we finally got a lane they said they'd bring our shoes, but by the time we lost patience and went to the counter ourselves we had lost ten minutes of our hour (they don't show the time is ticking until you press start). They said they'd send someone to take our order, but by the time we lost patience and asked them for service they said last call for orders was in five minutes and I'd need to go do it myself (the food bar said they were closed when I tried, but I can only fit so much in here). Throughout both of these occasions I could look over my shoulder and see three to four workers huddled around their kiosk enjoying themselves. This review pertains to the restaurant strictly: I've eaten here a few times trying to give it another chance, but clearly I'm the stupid one here. Every time we come, I feel like we're on the show What Would You Do? On today's episode, it took 15-ish minutes to get drinks, some Doofy asking if these sodas were ours (you tell me, kid) and setting them down on a random table and finally receiving our food only to be told the sides that came with it weren't available. My favorite part though, was where Wyatt Earp the waiter stuck my cup to his nose and inhaled a big whiff trying to decipher if it was diet or regular. Who manages this place? Is this real life? The one star is because the facility was very clean. My family and I waited to be seated in the restaurant. Numerous workers walked past us out of the restaurant and never said anything. When we were finally seated, our waiter never came. I walked over to the bar to ask if we were supposed to order there and the lady working the bar area said she could take my order but she had to serve the bar first (there were only 2 people sitting at the bar and both were still looking at the menu). After standing at the bar waiting a couple of minutes for her to take our order and observing her personal food behind the bar that she was eating, I noticed all the workers in the kitchen were eating while preparing customers' food so we left. I've worked in a kitchen before and that's unacceptable and unprofessional and if they don't get a break to eat then they might want to find somewhere else to work. This place is great! The games and attractions are of course a huge hit, and the bowling definitely reminds me of growing up in the 80s. I am pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food is, especially the wings! Always piping hot and perfectly crisp. We have also had great service. Let me start off by saying I didn't own a Yelp account until this review. I felt the need to download it after our experience at Main Event in Waco. The games were fun. Enjoyed the time with the family bowling. Food tasted pretty good. Buuuuuut... The wait staff is so horrible. I always give the benefit of the doubt with new/training staff. But this waiting staff was SO slow, unorganized and incredibly unprofessional. We were there for hours and never got refills on any drinks, even after asking for refills. We didn't even have complicated drinks-- all waters. If you go to get food or drinks, just be ready to only get 1 drink and wait a solid 45 min for them to even notice you. All the wait staff does is stand around and chat with their friends. Really frustrating. Definitely never returning read more

we got the gamer card to where we got 3 hours of unlimited games but when we went to cash in our tickets we couldn't because we didn't get them Transfered to us I'd suggest going to Austin's park and pizza. NOT main event for a birthday party. they have indoor rollercoasters and gokarts read more

I like coming here, but the service in the bowling alley is always awful. All 3 times i've bowled i've had to get up and ask a server to come over to us. I've also notified the manager each time. Now, we just order our own drinks from the bar. ALSO- They close at 12- we added an hour to our bowling game at 10:15- and the servers made a point to stand behind our lane, stare at us, and dramatically stare at their watches. This new location is bright, loud and fun. Go for the games and activities. However, you need to go somewhere else if you are wanting to eat and/or have a drink. We went for dinner, drinks and bowling. We got our shoes, started bowling and it was at least 30 minutes before anyone even greeted us or ask if we wanted to order. Service was painfully slow. It was over 30 minutes for our second round of drinks to be delivered. Came here with my family and some visiting relatives. The food did taste good, but I definitely seen some food safety and hygiene violations... First, when an employee finishes using the restroom, they MUST wash their hands. Storytime: I was in the restroom washing my hands and one of the staff just flushed, walked out of the stall, and out of the bathroom. Curious as to where her station was I watched to see if she was headed towards the restaurant part. She actually went to the room next to it where they sell fast food. Watching from afar, she just stood there engaging with other coworkers, still not having washed her hands... Back in the restaurant side, you can hear the servers and cooks playing around in the back. And you can SEE them; it's basically how a class acts when the teacher walks out. Quite unprofessional and unsanitary to be playing and talking over food, touching other people, playing on their phones/making calls and then handling the food... This is not even half of the things that I seen... The staff may have to be retrained in food safety, food hygiene, basic hygiene etc. It's supposed to be a fun, chill place, but when food is involved, the utmost care has to be taken. read more

The Bar/restaurant needs some attention from a corporate level because the management team onsite doesn't take there job seriously. The hostess sat us down in a booth, she also sat two other parties down that came in after us. We waited 20 mins before a waiter finally came and that was because we had to get the attention of a staff member to let them know we hadn't been helped. The two parties that were sat after us decided to get up and leave because they were tired of waiting. We ordered wings and a large pizza and chips and queso as an appetizer. The waiter didn't know how many wings came with an order of wings and the menu didn't indicate. He went to ask and then told us it's by the pound not the piece. That doesn't really make sense but to avoid confusion we just order 1 order of wings. We had to remind them about our drinks and appetizers because we still hadn't gotten them and we placed our order about 10mins ago. The Queso was luke warm and not very good, the chips were burnt, however we didn't complain. Our food finally comes out and it looks good. The wings were fresh however we received 5 wings for $14.99! As I took a bit of my pizza I noticed it was a little cold and really mushy. I pulled back the cheese and found that my pizza wasn't cooked! The cheese was melted but the dough was raw! We checked all of the slices and the entire pizza was raw! We asked for the manager and he came and apologized for it being raw and offered us some donut holes as compensation. He stated he would take the pizza off the ticket. When the ticket came it still had the pizza charged and they charged us for the donut holes! We sent the ticket back to have the pizza taken off and the donut holes removed. This was a really bad experience and we won't be returning read more
