The place was mostly empty just after 6am so service was good. In front was a pay phone booth that you don't see anymore but it didn't work. The menu has all the breakfast favorites and even though you can't just about ever get a real country fried steak anymore I ordered the country fried steak breakfast plate because it's still a favorite of mine. The massive table fixings were nice to see since C19 wiped them out for years. My food came quickly and looked ok with mangled three eggs mess but the yokes weren't broken only the whites. The toast was all generic and nothing exciting like Texas or sourdough so white would be my choice. The eggs were cooked perfect sunny side up. The hash browns were good with the added onions. The non homemade country steak was as good as restaurant food service companies offer and ok with the average country gravy on top. Overall it was your average restaurant breakfast and I know what I'm getting with the frozen country steak but I still crave it for breakfast so I'm going to stick with 4 stars because it wasn't horrible and it hit the spot for the start of a road trip early morning breakfast.

But they make theirs with whole milk and prepare it just right. I love that I can get a great order of eggs and a small stack of pancakes all for a reasonable price. My partner always has a skillet or special always takes home plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. The service is always good, and the restaurant is filled with people enjoying themselves and hanging out with friends. We do not eat out a lot, but I find myself trying to find excuses to also go here for lunch. Everything we've had has been consistently quite good. I see a lot of people order the American fare but I highly recommend their Greek selections. Be adventurous and you won't be bored with your flavorful meal.

She thought the bun was very good, but the burger was overcooked, a bit dry and lacked flavor. Overall, The Flip Side seems like a good restaurant that does a great job serving and supporting the local community.
