Nothing but positive things to say about this place. I was recommended by a co worker after I vented about a quote I got from another shop. I went to Main Street Mobile last Friday and when I walked in I was greeted by a very polite young man. I thought for sure that I wouldn't be helped that day because I didn't have an appointment and they looked swamped with work. I told the young fellow that I think I need to make an appointment for my car and he told me that they would sqeeze me in that day if I liked. He also offered me a ride to work or a free loaner for the duration of the repair. Of coarse I took the loaner. About 2 hours later they called to tell me nothing but good news. My car didn't need all that work that was told to me by the shop around the corner on pleasant street (over a grand worth), it just had a loose gas cap. Also my front rotors didn't need to be changed like I was told, and just needed pads. I was so happy with the news that i told them to do whatever they recommended. I got a call by the end of the day telling me that my car was all set. I picked up my car after work and payed my invoice of $188. Highly recommended for all your car needs when you find yourself out of warranty! From general servicing to major jobs. I've been bringing my car here since it ran out of warranty a few years back. They do all my oil changes and routine check ups and tell me what things need immediate attention and what can wait. My car just hit 50k and I needed tires and brakes. I almost bought tires from tire rack but called them to see how much these tires would cost from them. They were like $45 a tire cheaper then tire rack! Called town fair to check their prices and again Main Street mobile beat that price too. For the brake job I saved about $250 from shops in the vicinity ( I called and asked) everything is warrantied and I haven't had any issues. So I definitely wanna give people that are looking for a good auto shop a heads up about this awesome place. Also they do state inspections which I didn't know until they pointed out that I needed one on a day I went for gas. Ive been going here since i bought my jetta a few years back. I ditched my family mechanic for this service station. It all started when i bought my car at a unbelievable wholesale price. Before i bought this car i did my research, i compared this car to similar cars on craigslist, cars.com and ebay. I literally save thousands of dollars buying it from here. I decided to give them a shot with the maintenance. Gotta say these guys take the extra step with pleasing their customers. The whole crew is very nice, professional and really good at what they do. You actually feel like they care about you and your vehicle. I saw a huge difference in my pocket when i go there too, they dont try to upsell like other places but try to find a way to save you money. They wowed me when i broke down with a friend in her car, I called jimmy, he came and towed it from Revere for FREE! Gave her a FREE loaner car for 2 days and fixed it for a amazing price. yelp has been calling main street mobile who we have been here for more then 40 years family owned, with awesome reviews on google and awesome reviews on yelp but with yelp they want us to pay monthly with them to keep all the positive reviews on front recommended page. when you go to our yelp business main street mobile we have total of 79 reviews, only 5 stay on the front page with two negative and three positive.on the non recommended are 9 negative reviews and 70 5star reviews which they will not show because they have asked us to pay them monthly scam. look at our google reviews and look at the yelp reviews, all similar positive reviews but yelp hides all the great reviews which 90 percent are positive but yelp hides them because i refuse to pay for free advertising.just look at the non-recommended. thank you for your business, yelp gives us 3 stars while google gives us 5 stars, the proof is on the non recommended on yelp which are 5 star. not a great way to do business. google is the best, sorry yelp i will refuse to pay you for hiding customers great reviews, to my customers please look at the non recommended. thank you read more

let me first say, as a regular girl that writes reviews, you can't go by someone who writes a bad review and think that business sucks. no way. i have been getting my fuel at main street mobile for many years. great full service and polite service. there auto repair shop is always full but they still find the time even if they are busy to get you in with no appointments. that is the experience i had when all of a sudden my brakes went on my mercedes. they took me in right away and they gave me a free car loaner to drive till they finished with my vehicle. 5 star service by far. they did an excellent job and warranty all their work for a full year. nothing but a positive experience. as i say you cant satisfy all, no such thing , but the only way to find out is to try for yourself. i highly recommend them for all types of auto repairs. they do everything. your one stop shop in watertown. they give free estimates , free car loaners , windshield replacement , and best of all they have all brands and sizes of tires in stock. just try them you will be satisfied. read more

Brought my car in for an issue that I had already paid to have repaired on 3 separate occasions at 3 separate shops. Two of the times I paid $180 and the other time I paid $200. These guys charged me $450 for the exact same issue! When I questioned them they told me it was because they purchase OEM parts. This excuse was still BS because I looked up the cost of an OEM part. They pretty much double charged me. I paid and will NEVER go back. This is not the first issue I've had with them. As other Yelpers have stated they change your oil and do not change the filter. Happened to me and caused my oil to clump up and clog. Also brought my old car here for an issue with A/C unit which they charged me $150 to "fix" but once freon ran out A/C was warm again. Issue was never fixed but when I brought it to their attention they only offered to fill it with freon again. WTH? Don't go here unless you want to be suckered & robbed!! read more

Great friendly Mechanics. Very accurate with diagnosis on my problem with my vehicle. Had a Check Engine light on my vehicle that would not pass State Inspection. Went to another shop in Watertown , which they replaced a part for the light that was on my vehicle, but did not solve it. The light came on right away. My mistake for not listening to my friends which they told me to take it to Main Street Mobile. I brought it to them , they called me with the problem, which was complete opposite of what the other shop replaced. They fixed it and told me to drive the cycles for my monitor to be ready before re inspect the vehicle. I drove the miles, got my car re inspected , and what do you know it passed inspection. These ASE Certified Technicians are Car Doctors. Went in for a Check Engine light, which Tasos Diagnosed , repaired it , and even drove the cycles to pass the Vehicle State Inspection, which passed. His passion for cars is unbelievable. I was recommended by my co- workers . There Facility is always clean , and knowing that this family business has been around for 40 plus years with an economy like this says that they know what the are doing. It's really nice when you see family's work together and stay In business for that long , they welcome you as family and that is very comforting , there not like others shops that pretend. Lets start of by saying these guys are very professional.I went there for an Inspection Sticker knowing it was going to fail for tires. George came to me an informed me on that matter. He sat down and gave me prices on various brand tires. I chose the michelins. They have over 200 tires of all brand in stock. Goodyears, Michelins, Continentals, and many many more. They gave me a free Car Loaner for the day , which they have 3 Free Car Loaners. They put 4 tires on plus an alignment. They checked the vehicle all around. My knowledge about cars is not the greatest and my car was making a weird noise. My friends told me to bring my car here and they would of take care of everything. I have to say that this place is the best to bring in your car! Great service, they explain everything with details and they make you feel good. I own a 1999 Honda Civic and they took care of it as it was a Ferrari. They found out what the problem was right away and took care of it. Great customer service and great quality of work. Awesome work ,great friendly ASE certified technicians on foreign and domestic vehicles. have a Range Rover and a Porsche 911 Turbo. Tasos has worked on both of my vehicles, and only trust him. There are many shops, but these guys are on top of their game. Dave who is well known and everyone from the well respected firefighters to all the watertown town employees to the watertown police department know Dave and Main Street Mobile. There are times i drive by and see them working on the AMBULANCES. Enough with them, Tasos is very professional and knowledge on my Vehicles. Need discount tires George at main street mobile did that for me. I have a BMW 5 series which needed 4 tires MSM has top brand tires available. He was verry helpful with the different choices of brand tires for my car he recommended Michelin which are my favorite tires. The 4 tires with high speed balance and a four wheel alignment cost me $760.00. He gave me a loaner and fixed my car the same day. I brought my car in to get new tires since the tread on my old tires was worn down. I shopped around at several locations and this place gave me the best price. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast the guys were able to switch out the old tires and get me back on the road. They provided me with great customer service and I would recommend their shop to anyone who needs to have work done on their car. I was driving with a noise on my tires, I was in Watertown and stopped at a gas station Main Street Mobile. Tasos the young man put my vehicle on the lift, even though they were closed. He found a nail on my tire where he patched it up. He did not charge me, said its on the house. excellent service, I will come back. I gave him a tip even though he didn't want it, i made him take it. Last minute service and the kindness to help me out even as he started to leave for the day.
