Brought them in for an estimate on some ductwork repair below the house in the crawlspace. Ron arrived on time and went into the crawlspace to inspect the damage. Our ducts were damaged by a skunk who had been living under the house several years back. Ron crawled through the entire area and came out with pictures and videos. He explained what needed to be replaced and repaired and an estimate of how long it would take. He gave me a quote on the spot and forwarded me all the videos and pictures. I thought the quote was reasonable and scheduled him to come back the following week. He and one of his guys arrived on time (9am) and completed the work by 11:15a. He replaced 2 duct runs and repaired a third. He hauled away all the damaged ducts and cleaned up the area when he left. All in all, everything went smoothly. Ron and Kenton came out and gave us an estimate on repairing our heater ducts in our attic crawl space and the return ducts under our house. We accepted the estimate and Ron said he would order the parts he needed and schedule a day that wasn't raining. This was, of course, during our period of an atmospheric river, one storm after another. But, they scheduled a visit on Friday, the very first sunny day, and completed the upper duct work that same day. I haven't had a chance to use their plumbing services yet but I'm sure they're equally as proficient and enjoyable to work with in this arena. I had recently moved into my new home and was unsure of when the last time my heater had been serviced. As we're going into the cold season, I wanted to make sure everything was spic and span and ready to go so we wouldn't experience any issues at a time when we needed the heater the most. Also, safety is of upmost importance so I wanted to make sure that our heater was up to all compliance standards. After messaging this business on Yelp, Ron got back to me quickly with some available times he was free to come and take care of my service. On the day of, he showed up with his grandson (I love that this is a family business!) The two of them immediately got to work with checking out my heater and were extremely knowledgeable in what they were doing and looking for. Luckily, it looks like my heater is still relatively new and is a good model and to save me money, Ron let me know that going forward, I really only needed to get it serviced every 2 years instead of every 1. They also found that there were two filters in my heater and I only needed one. Since they didn't have the filter I needed with them, they offered to drive to the nearest Home Depot to purchase one for me. They didn't even think twice about going out of their way to do this, which was a very nice gesture. Ron is the real deal! He was the only one of the vendors that I reached out to give me advice first to try before his visit. I tried to get him out several times and because he was sick he could not make the first appointment. While sick, he was very responsive on checking in with him daily until I could get on his busy schedule. Finally, when I had him come out to visit my house, he prioritize me and even drove out of his way from Pacifica to Oakland to San Mateo early in the morning (during a death in the family - wow)!! This was months ago and I am still amazed with the work that was provided. We bought a dishwasher and asked friends if they knew of a good plumber bc apparently you have to pay for installation nowadays. One of my best friends told me what he heard about Ron.
