    My thermostat and controller inop.I replaced the batteries but the screen is blank. The furnace is at least 15 years+. Brand White-Rodgers. I still can turn the furnace on but not adjust the temperature. Do not want to replace. Can you assist? Thanks

    You can try to clean the contacts that the batteries touch to see if that is the problem. Sometimes the batteries leak a little if left in to long & mess the contact. I would wear latex gloves & use a small nail file to clean the connector. If this… Read more

Jumped on YELP...starting checking out some of the local folks ( since I live in Half Moon Bay. Liked what I read about Dennis. Called him...he was out at my place in an hour. Had the parts...fixed it...explained it all...an hour later all fixed. There is something to be said about customer service, honesty, and efficiency that we all look for as consumers. I am not related to or have any part in Dennis's business. Investigated throughly and determined it is due to electrical issues and not the furnace itself and coordinated and brought along Dave from WireWorks the next day, whereby the two of them went through all possible scenarios and finally tracked down the hidden short that cause the outage to the furnace.
