This is not my first review for Jason and Pipeline Plumbing. Yesterday my toilet went on the fritz, and although I tried my best with the plunger, I couldn't fix it. I contacted Pipeline and he came out first thing the next day (I didn't ask for immediate help since I have 2 toilets). He fixed it in no time, cleaned up the bathroom a bit so I wouldn't have to, and didn't charge me a fortune. I can't say enough good things. Situation: I was trying to get quotes for minor work in my Kitchen. I provided photos on Yelp and had about 5 responses. Yet, even though I provided photos and gave a good description of the simple work, 4 of the Yelp Plumbing vendors said that they couldn't give me a ballpark quote over the phone/text and that they had to come schedule a visit. I then read their reviews, and most people complained that once these companies came to the site, they gave a cursory look and then quoted ridiculously high prices. Pipeline Plumbing was the only vendor who reviewed my request, looked at the picture I sent, and proceeded to give me a very reasonable quote. And, availability was perfect. Admittedly my job was relatively straightforward: my garbage disposal had clearly become warped in some fashion and was leaking, and I needed a new garbage disposal installed. So it was a "click, whirr, and thank you sir" kind of job. Upon my wife's insistence, (the drip was driving us crazy!!), we were referred to Pipeline Plumbing to check out our leaky issue. Skeptical because I am so fearful of being taken advantage of, we reached out to set up an assessment time and remained hopeful for a trustworthy business. Jason reached out to us immediately, triaged the issue by having us send him a video the issue, the hardware and photos as well. I reached out to Jason for help because we had a piece of metal lodged tightly in our garbage disposal and had tried our best to get it out with no luck. His next available appointment wasn't until a week out but he kindly offered to get on the phone with me the next day and walk me through the repair. Jason diagnosed and fixed a hot water pressure issue in my shower that had stumped a previous well-rated plumber (and was also missed by the original contractor who installed the shower). Communication was great, it was easy to schedule a time with him via text message and he arrived on time. After I showed him the problem, he explained his theory on the problem and it was very knowledgeable and more detailed than what I got from the previous plumber. When he opened things up, his theory turned out to be very close, there was just an internal cold water valve that was set incorrectly. The shower is now working great, and Jason saved me thousands of dollars from the previous plumber's recommendation of tearing out the whole thing, replacing and re-tiling around it. read more

Jason is absolutely amazing. I had an old gas pipe sticking out my ceiling that I wanted cut so that I could install a proper light fixture. The work ended up being WAY more involved than we thought it would be at first. You might say Jason should have anticipated this if he was super knowledgeable, but I do not hold it against him - the pipe work from the original construction was very weird. Jason wasn't deterred. He cleared his calendar and with a smile on his face performed incredible surgery on my ceiling to get the job done. Another plumber might have thrown their hands up and said forget it. To top it off, he went and got spackling paste and restored the ceiling when he was done. All I need to do is some sanding and touch up painting. That is a VERY small burden given the amount of work Jason took on. I would recommend Jason to anyone anywhere any time. read more

Jason does good work but not as knowledgeable as I had hoped. My tenant had a leak in the kitchen sink area. Jason said it was caused by the faucet. $500+ later the leak was still there. He then wanted to charge me another $100+ to change the drain pipe. I said NO. I hired another plumber who found the issue and repaired it. It was not the drain pipes. Paying these rates you would hope they would know what they are doing. Probably will not use him or Pipeline again. read more

Jason succeeded where other plumbers failed. We have a problematic Kohler toilet that requires disassembly of certain parts to service it. When it started running, another five star plumber we found via Yelp claimed it'd be more cost-effective to replace the entire toilet! Given the toilet itself is just 8 years old and already was a high-efficiency unit, I thought that was overkill. I reached out to Jason via Yelp. I just had a great experience with Jason. Today I had an appointment set with a guy named Phil, but that guy cancelled an hour before (ugggh!) - so I texted Jason and he said "hey I happen to be free at 3:30pm-4pm range" and so I locked that in. Our inspector noted that we needed to replace the gas line to our stove with a modern flexible hose, and his estimate was astronomical. So I'd been saving money for a few months before finally biting the bullet. I contacted Jason for an estimate and it was well below what I'd been told to expect (by literally thousands of dollars!). In the middle of a global pandemic, the epoxy holding my sink to the underside of my bathroom counter decided to fail. Jason promptly got back to me saying that he could help and was willing to quote a price based upon a few photos. He came out and quickly completed the work on my failed sink as well as preventative work on a second sink to ensure it doesn't also fail. We needed a new water heater and decided to take advantage of it to also replace the shower valve and trim on the adjoining wall. A friend of ours recommended Jason, and we are so glad she did. The project required the installation of a new valve pipe to the exterior, which was not an easy task given the location of the water heater. And when unfortunately, upon testing of the new water heater, Jason noticed that the new water heater had a manufacturing defect, he went ahead, without hesitation and despite the additional time and efforts needed, and replaced the water heater again to give us complete piece of mind.
