"misunderstanding no incompetence" I contacted this company regarding waxing floors. in my townhouse -when I called I clearly explained I lived in a townhouse, having four floors and furniture and other items including a piano that would have to be moved - "no problem". I then received a call from Laurie who handles these matters for this company. I clearly explained to her what I needed and the furniture that I had - "no problem we have 8 very strong man who could move anything". When I was ready to do the work and had the square footage for quote Laurie was in the hospital and I spoke to the owner Jesse. He set up an appointment a week later. Two men arrived looked at the job and told me they don't move furniture. After discussion with Andy and Jesse they would not do the job. I wasted a great deal of time and have to start all over and since I'm leaving for a long vacation my house will not be in proper order. Clearly this was not a misunderstanding but total incompetence on behalf of this company and I would recommend if you have work to do look elsewhere. read more

I was really straightforward with them saying I was a small business that didn't require weekly cleaning but I could use my wood floors cleaned. They scheduled a guy to come out to take a look. The price they gave was very fair so I booked to have it done. The crew just left and they did a great job! The guy moved the furniture around and buffed the whole studio floor. I'm very happy with their service and workmanship. As a local business owner in the neighborhood myself it's nice to find another business that shares the same ethic as my company. They get one star because I had to give one to write this review. Majik cleans my office, or I should say takes our money to pretend to clean. We pay $1,700 a month for less than mediocre service. They don't vacuum as often as it states in the contract nor do they take away the garbage from the desks on a consistent basis. Several times employees come to work and find the garbage from the day before still under the desk. What comes next is far beyond professional, they have taken employees Tupperware and coffee mugs that had been left tin the sink at the end of the day, instead of washing them like it states in the contract that they get paid to do, they placed them on the floor, one behind a box, another under the sink next to a dirty pail. I posted a pic of it. Don't waste your money on Majik, they have lazy employees, do not thoroughly clean and are overpriced. read more

I hired Majik to do a post construction deep clean. The salesperson is a charmer, assuring me a fantastic job. She raved so much about how pleased I would be, that I did not closely watch the cleaners. My mistake. Over the next few days I saw all that was not done. Floors still had paint specks, baseboards where covered with construction dust, handprints not cleaned off kitchen cabinets, the crevice between the vanity and shower had all the chunks of debris left by the contractor. Floors were not mopped. They did not bring one. Nor did they have a floor vacuum attachment. I reported my dissatisfaction and sent pictures. The (no longer)charming saleswoman negated my claims even with photos. I paid $425 plus a $60 tip. read more

Harassing behavior. After a cold call to our office, I let them pay us a visit and give us a quote. We have had bad luck with cleaners in the past so I'm always interested in having other options. I was clear in saying that we had recently hired a new company but if we were ever in need of someone new, we would keep them in mind. I told them this in person and on the phone. Then they called a week later to follow up. I assume this is simply their protocol so I gently reminded them of our status. The following week they called every. single. day. I ignored the calls and they stopped for about a week. The following week I picked up when they called again and told them that I found their incessant calling to be unprofessional and that we are no longer interested in future business. I had to repeat this process multiple times. Today when they called, I asked them to stop harassing us. I will leave this review on a new platform every time I hear from them again. read more

My organization has been working with MAJIK for a few years now for our office cleaning twice a week (cleaning carpets, toilets, throwing away trash, etc) and we have NEVER had a bad experience with them! When we want something altered or have an area paid special attention to, all we have to do is send an email or give a call and it is taken care of without any questions asked! The cleaner also recycles our cardboard - from a couple of boxes and papers to a whole load - and ensures that the dishes are washed (if we leave any in the sink).
