I really appreciated the smooth communication all the way through - they were so kind and patient with all my questions and concerns. Anny and Andy are both very talented and precise. They have ALL the skills and dedication to make you look and feel beautiful. I was looking for a really natural makeup look, and an updo with lots of texture. I was definitely nervous about the makeup piece since I basically don't wear much more than mascara, but Anny nailed it - I felt weightless and beautiful and most of all like MYSELF the entire day. My hair was a work of art as well - I hope Andy is proud of what he created because I LOVED it. I don't own or wear make-up, so for events, I have to go get it done. Oh, and I've had it DONE! Even with the compliments, I hated it because I didn't look like myself. It felt foreign and I would often feel quite uncomfortable. For my elopement ceremony last summer, I wanted to look like myself, except with better skin. I wanted to be comfortable with myself. Anny's portfolio was appealing to me, because it had a variety of looks, including the "natural look", the one I wanted. We had a super intimate ceremony over brunch. The venue was great, but didn't give us a lot of extra time to prepare. Anny and Andy came through! I want to start by saying the entire experience with them was mediocre. I was originally supposed to get married in October of 2020 but was forced to postpone due to the pandemic and was charged $250 to change the wedding date which was a bummer but I guess I understood the circumstances. I had to change the location of "getting ready" morning of wedding which I confirmed with them no less than 3 times and when they sent over the last few email correspondences leading up to wedding they failed to spell my name correctly and continued to have the wrong location. Just thought they would be more on top of it. The morning of my wedding I was informed that they were sending a replacement hair gal who showed up about 30 minutes late. I had 5 girls in my wedding who were getting their hair done (including the MOB and MOG). Each on of them ended up fixing their hair and re doing everything after our hair girl left. I was so embarrassed and bummed that after all the money that was spent NO ONE LIKED THEIR HAIR. So disappointing. I do want to emphasis the girl I had for my wedding day trail makeup and hair was Kala and she was the BEST!! She really was so great and did such a great job on my hair and makeup. I understand it's been a difficult year for businesses but I'm so disappointed with the services based off how much money I paid! It was not cheap.... Again I'd strongly encourage anyone considering NW Hair + Makeup to book with another company. I really wish I had had a different hair+makeup experience for my wedding.

I think she may charge a small fee if she needs to travel more than a certain number of miles, but it was nominal and on par with what other makeup artists charge. But Meaganne knew exactly what to do to make me feel natural, confident, and ready to get married! She makes you feel and look like yourself and not some made up version of a typical bride. My husband on the other hand looked at me like I was a total stranger!
