This was my first visit at Makkee. I tried their Mango Snow Black Sticky Rice and shared it with my boyfriend. It was a nice refreshing dessert. Best of all, not too sweet. The mangos and black sticky rice were the best parts of the dessert. Mangos perfectly ripe. Sticky rice, chewy and mild. I just wish the ice cream vanilla bean flavor didn't pull through as much because I love the mango and rice flavor so much. The interior is very clean. There's lots of seating and moveable tables. There's soft and calm music that plays in the background, which makes the vibes very relaxing. I came on a Tuesday around 5pm, and it wasn't crowded. You can order off a kiosk, which makes it convenient to explore the menu if it's your first time. Description is in Chinese but there's pictures of each dessert. Overall, I'd like to come back to try their most marketed dessert, their Makkee Deluxe. It's a combo of grass jelly, red bean, jellies, and sweet potato balls that's naturally sweet.

Newly opened, it replaced the old Boba store in the plaza. - Tapioca Deluxe: 4.8/5. one of their recommendations, contains peach gum, lotus, taro balls, tapioca and the milk cap on top. Everything pairs well to each other. They also have a new series for summer: Shave Ice with multiple options from Watermelon, Melon to Mango. Will come back to try their mango shave ice

We ordered the Makkee Deluxe, Tapioca Deluxe, and Creamy Snow Matcha Melon. The fruits were fresh and sweet, and the shaved ice texture was soft and creamy. The matcha flavor was rich without being too bitter, and the tapioca had the perfect chewy texture. Nice place to cool down and satisfy your dessert cravings. Will definitely come back to try more items!

Makkee Dessert is a new Chinese dessert shop that originally opened its first store in Shanghai in 2021 and has rapidly expanded over hundreds of locations across China in recent years. This location marks Makkee Dessert's first U.S. location. [Parking]: The shop is located in Diamond Plaza which has a parking lot that is pretty big, but I still ended up parking on the other side of the plaza and walking to the dessert shop. Parking is free. [Ordering]: All customers must place their orders using the lone kiosk. Once the order is ready, customers will receive a text message. Customers can also monitor their order status on the screen. The shop was packed on Sunday at 2:30 PM, but order preparation was surprisingly quick. If customers choose to dine in, they must secure a table before ordering. [Menu]: Top Yelp highlighted items include *fill in the blank* Snow Black Sticky Rice, Mango Sago with Mini Tapioca Pearls, and Mango Pomelo Sago. They also sell milk teas. Please note that mango season runs from April to July (mangos taste the best during the peak season). *** Mango Pomelo Sago ($10.99): A refreshing dessert, but the mango pieces tasted a bit sour. The overall sweetness level was about right. *** Think of Makkee Dessert as a slightly upgraded version of Meet Fresh except Makkee Dessert places a big emphasis on mango. I can see myself revisiting and trying other items on the menu.

Found Makkee Dessert on Yelp when we wanted dessert after dinner. This place is packed with line out the door on Saturday night! Good sign the food must be good. I ordered the signature dessert and my friends ordered 5 other different ones. They are all well made with quality ingredients and each component is cooked properly so nothing is too hard or too mushy. The overall dessert has just the right amount of sweetness. Nice packaging for to go order. The shop is bright and clean but it's so busy it seems understaffed. Limited seating available. I'd come back again to try different items.

The mango sago and mango sticky rice are amazing!!! I wonder if it's not mango season what I would order. While the service is pretty fast, it could be faster by having menus available to the line while they wait. I Asked the employee if the boba drinks were made with real milk and they didn't seem to understand me. So unfortunately I didn't get to try that. Parking was busy when we arrived but our line was short. By the time we finished our food the line was really long but there were a ton of parking spaces. I would definitely go back all the time if the drive wasn't 45 min away. :(

First time here. It has a good amount of indoor seating. Restaurant is clean. Parking is fairly easy since it's located in a big plaza. Ordering is done on a kiosk. The menu is limited and a bit confusing. Our deserts were refreshing and yummy. They weren't too sweet.

Note to self. Stay home, maketh yourself. Miniature tapioca, tangyuan, taro, coconut milk, sugar. Product was lukewarm, product was overtly mediocre, nothing 3Cat, Cha Redefine or Meet Fresh couldn't make. "When an industrial product designer focuses too much on image and not so much on substance, and forgets good food is simple and needs to appeal to the soul.

I was craving a dessert place that was not MF. Yelped and found this near by. Surprised to find some unique desserts that I only had in Asian. You don't get Peach sap everyday. Their desserts are overly sweet which I like. Taro sago with sweet potato mochi hit the spot for me. Portions are shareable for 2 people. Mango sago was fresh and tasty.

One of the best Asian desserts places I've been to! Even the boba tea is sooooo good with the tofu type jelly in it! They all kind of tasted healthy with sweet potato jelly and read beans and grass jelly. This place is in a huge plaza with lots of parking spots around. We just ordered from a tablet and pick up the food from the counter.

My takeout order. Very impressive packaging!

First visit and unfortunately not a great experience. The menu wasn't very user-friendly, and ordering was kiosk-only, which made things feel impersonal from the start. Staff interactions were minimal--no greeting, no guidance, and no acknowledgment when we left. As for the desserts, they didn't impress. The mango sago (a classic I usually enjoy) was just okay, nothing memorable. The peach gum with lotus seed, advertised with "fresh milk," was disappointing. It had very little flavor, and the milk base had an unexpectedly thick, slightly gooey texture. We ordered for takeout. The packaging was impressive, with a secure screw-top lid, a plastic insert to prevent leakage, individually wrapped spoons and a bag designed to hold two containers perfectly. For a $25 spend, this didn't feel like a good value compared to what other Asian dessert shops offer. Overall, underwhelming in both service and taste. Maybe just an off day, but not enough to bring me back.

This place is great! We came when they weren't busy (around 5:45) and got our mango sticky rice in less than five minutes! Service is attentive and the interior is sleek, modern, and clean. The mango sticky rice is amazing. The black sticky rice is perfectly sweet, and there are great ratios of all ingredients. Although this place is on the pricier side for desserts, the ambiance, speed, quality, and taste are all worth it.

The matcha flavor was earthy and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The milk mochi was super soft and chewy, and the red bean added a nice traditional dessert touch. It's refreshing if you're into cold matcha desserts. My favorite though was the A6 Midnight Harmony. The combination of black sesame, taro paste, red bean, and milk mochi was rich, nutty, and comforting. The black sesame flavor really stood out and paired so well with the taro. I personally prefer the hot-style desserts here because the sesame flavors feel deeper and more fragrant warm. Overall, a fun spot for Asian-style desserts and mochi lovers. If you like black sesame and chewy textures, definitely give the Midnight Harmony a try.
