Very cute place inside. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not busy at all. We started with the Meatball with Ricotta and Mozzarella small plate. It was $8 and had two decent sized meat balls. My husband and I got salads. The salads were more toppings then greenery which makes a delicious salad. You know how most places put tons and tons of lettuce then scant with the toppings. Well not here - get the salad, you wont be disappointed. I got the Picasso salad and my husband got the Warhol salad. I do have to question if they will always be like that as the other waitress stated "Wow he hooked you up" I asked her what she meant and she stated he put a little extra toppings on ours. The wines were OK they have 50% off of wine on Thursdays, so I would highly suggest going when they had the 1/2 off of wine. We went on October 27th and they still had their "Summer menu" posted with a different wine special but stated thats just for summer and no longer valid. I asked why it was still on the menu and they said they had not updated it. Parking can be confusing but make sure to park in the parking garage for easiest access. We would definitely go back for dinner - on a Thursday night and will update the review on Dinner food. They gave us a free Macaroon for us to split and try. It was the best cookie I have had in a while. I would like to mention the ladies room. Please fix the holes in the wall, the peeling paint and the dirty mirror. I absolutely LOVED this place. It is so adorable on the inside. Comfy chairs give you the "at home" feel. It is under new ownership since November, and they are really great at what they do. We got a bottle of Valpolicella Ripasso, which was delicious, and whatever you don't drink, you can take with you. Now I will say, they mark the bottles up quite a bit. This runs around $20 and they sold it for about $65. But that is how businesses are. We got the charcuterie board and just let them choose the meat and cheese. We were asked if there were any cheeses we don't like, and they made the board accordingly. It came with lots of bread and some accompaniments and overall, fed the 2 of us without any issues. Man I was stuffed!! I will definitely go back here again, just know that they wine is on the pricey side. Perfect for any date night or fun with the girls. read more

I hosted a little event here on a Saturday recently, and will definitely be coming back between the lovely Parisienne-style sandwiches, good wine, and nice indoor and outdoor ambiance. I have been driving by this establishment for three years since we bought a townhouse nearby in Lake Worth, and finally curiosity got the better of this cat. The interior has a very European-style -- a big fan of the upholstered chairs with marble tables, and the marble bar-like counter is also a plus if you just need a seat for yourself. It's a place where you can go with friends to enjoy a bottle of wine with some... wait for it... cheeeeeeeeese. Came here a couple weeks ago on a Friday afternoon around 1:30pm, it was pretty empty save for a few other patrons, our group of 6 were greeted and seated swiftly in the semi-private side table seating area fit for 8-10. We ordered a items off the regular menu--a hummus platter (veggies served in the hummus), 3 cheese and 2 sides, sopressata and prosciutto, a pita "pizza" flatbread, and a bottle of the Little Sheep New Zealand wine. Everything was tasty and satisfying, especially the goat cheese with honey and raspberry preserves. We were wary of ordering goat cheese at first but together they were sooo good! Also really great of them to provide extra bread to go with all the cheese and meats. But really that extra star is for Judy who really epitomized the friendly and helpful owner. We appreciated her recommendations and accommodations (one milk allergy, one lactose intolerant, one vegan) and welcoming attitude (hugs all around when she heard we were there celebrating our bachelorette in the party). If I'm back in WPB I'd make this a stop! Also--tip on parking, there is parking in the garage structure adjacent/behind this cafe. Once you turn off the main road onto the street directly right of the cafe, follow the parking signs and make a couple more lefts and park inside the parking garage in the designated restaurant parking spots. read more

I finally stopped by last week with my brother and we left beyond satisfied with not only the food but the quality of service and attentiveness. Justin was so nice and he greeted us upon arrival. He thoroughly explained the menu and wine options to us as well. There was also a young lady who brought our food out and she was just as nice and she also provided me with some wine recommendations for my next visit. We felt very welcomed. The food came out quickly and was delicious and fresh. You can't go wrong with the burrata which is creamy and served on a bed of greens. We also ordered the baked brie, the Glazed Black Forest Ham Sandwich, and a Tomato Bisque. Needless to say, we enjoyed every bite! There are plenty of wine options as well. Located in in the shopping plazas of the Moorings, you will easily missed it if you did not know about it. It's a family owned restaurant and the owners are so amazing that if you ask them for any recommendations or explanations, you will get a warm voice that you will feel as if you amongst family. The decor is somewhat traditional spaniard with some eclectic pieces which you can see from the pictures I took since they re-did some of the interior. The selection of food is "OH SO GOOD" from the sandwiches, cheeses/ meat plates & bruches. Everything is made fresh so you know you are getting something good - but please be patient, because everything is made fresh and it does take time. But, do promise that your taste and experience will be more than worth it. You have a wide variety of cheeses, wines and so forth so you will probably have to come back again and again to get a true taste of everything that they have to offer. The parking in the beginning can be tricky, but the best tip is to park in the garage of the 1st building which is for the shoppes of the moorings. You will be all good there. Come for meetings, to get away, for a small reunion or to hang out with friends or even meet new friends. We've been going to Cheese and Wine Cafe for a couple of years. We love the food and the tapas portions, though sometimes it's disappointing that they're not serving items that are on the menu because the items have not been "prepped." Everything we order always tastes fresh and are presented nicely. The wines are quite good. Our only complaint is that we get the smallest pour of wine by the glass we've ever gotten in any restaurant ever for the price. It's about nine small sips (I counted). They could be more generous in their pour. The small amount is ridiculous. Other than that, no complaints. We love the ambience, too. read more

The owner Justin came over to the table as we had questions. My wife was asking about the wine selection, Justin was very knowledgeable about his wine list suggested a Italian Chardonnay that my wife loved. He was making a sandwich with some extra meat he had from a catering event I asked if would make me one he was glad to it was delicious, told him he needed to add it to the menu. The baguettes that the sandwiches are made on are outstanding crusty on the outside and light on the inside. They also have local beer on tap that changes regularly. Absolutely delicious. We were so happy to find Matteo again! Everything he makes is amazing! This is a very eclectic, quaint little restaurant. We sampled tapas - the ricotta meatballs, shrimp Mac & cheese, dumplings and crab cakes for dinner. Each one was was flavorful and scrumptious!
