We had a sales person (Matt) came for an estimate for standby home generator on April 30, 2026. We…read moresigned the contract and paid for a deposit with credit card. We applied for their Synchrony Bank payment plan with no interest for 18 months. After sales guy left I checked the location of the proposed area and saw that there is a vent there. I called and emailed him. He said he didn't know what type of vent but the generator is vertically 5' away from the vent and 5' away from a window. However, the generator is NOT 5' horizontally from the vent. We also told GenPro sales guy it takes 30 days for HOA approval. GenPro emailed us the estimate on May 5. I applied for permit with HOA on May 5 after talking to sales guy and receiving his drawn in generator in my pictures that I sent him. Meanwhile I emailed our builder (May 3) and independent home inspector (May 6) to find out what type of vent is near the proposed location. We thought the fresh air intake vent is on the roof. It took them a few days and we received replies on May 6. They confirmed that it is the fresh air intake vent. So when the generator emits carbon monoxide it would travel approximately 59-60" up into the fresh air intake. Yes I took into account the concrete pad and the top of the generator. I measured the vertical distance from the height of the generator to the bottom of the vent. On May 6, their install team emailed and said they would do installation on May 18. I told GenPro to hold off on everything as I am waiting for HOA approval and I am not comfortable with the proposed location and need to do more research. This was the same day I received replies from builder and home inspector. GenPro then sent a field supervisor to my house on May 8 to answer questions. He said GenPro would move the location further along the wall and we would not have to pay for the extra electrical and gas trenching cost. This would mean there is about 20' between the generator and AC where we can't push the lawnmower in. We have a narrow lot. We do not feel this is best for us. In addition when time comes replacing the AC unit would have to be lifted above the generator. There is no gate on the side with the AC and proposed generator. Meanwhile Synchrony Bank charged us 50% of the balance on May 1 (over $6,000). I received an email of the CC balance on the account and it is due 6-2-2026. I did not receive the Synchrony credit card in the mail until May 11 and have not even activated the credit card. I have emailed GenPro on May 11 to cancel, request deposit refund and charge back to the Synchrony amount. I have not heard from them. BEWARE of this company. The sales team just cared about making the sale. If I had not questioned the proposed location GenPro would have installed the generator at a location that is UNSAFE and possible leading to death. See my picture of the vent and GenPro's marked up of where the generator would be.

I'm very happy for the very good catch this electrician made. Beware. My mother in law has and still is a customer of gen pro for years now. She was left in the dark, with no AC. for days lat year during hurricane Beryl. Beware. We won't forget.

Equipment stolen from Precision Repair while waiting for repair!…read more I took my 4 month old failed DeWalt pressure washer to Precision Repair as they were suggested by DeWalt as an authorized warranty service center. I met Harvey -likely the same person described in the October review- took in my pressure washer, copied my sales receipt, and provided a service ticket. Several calls later with Harvey he indicated warrantee service had been agreed with DeWalt and parts ordered. Machine was expected to be ready in two weeks. Fast forward to today. The phone at Precision has been disconnected. My machine has been with Precision for 4 weeks - no progress. The story that Harvey gave me was just that, a story. I met the owner, Steve Lujan, today 11/18/19 and he seemed surprised that my machine was missing. He agreed it had gone missing (stolen) while in Precision's care. After some discussion Steve agreed to compensate me for the stolen machine ($663) but didn't have any money! So he wrote me an IOU for the $663 and agreed to pay me by Jan1, 2020. I sincerely hope Steve pays me for my loss. I can only suggest others seriously think through if they are going to leave their equipment with Precision. I did call and email DeWalt and Donna in customer service informed me that Precision has been Flagged due to complaints.

There are no words to describe how poor the service was and how badly I regret bringing my…read moregenerator to this little company. First...I dropped my generator off on June 24th and it wasn't ready until October 11th. It took them nearly a month to even look at the machine. I was constantly told they were waiting for a part or when I asked questions about the work the guy on the phone (who I'll describe in a moment) told me he'd have the mechanic call me....which never happened. I was told on at least 6 occasions that they'd call me back. To be clear....I never received a call from Precision. I actually think this is part of their strategy.....hoping you'd forget about the machine you dropped off so they could sell it. Bottom line...Extremely poor service, no communication, held machine for nearly 4 month and then extorted payment to even pick it up, and in the end they never tested or fixed the generator for the purpose for which it was brought in to begin with. Save yourself....don't use these guys for anything. Back to the guy who answers the phone. I understand entry level or minimum wage positions (I've been there)...but I challenge you to find a less motivated, less helpful, uninspired individual on the planet. The owner of this company would do better just having an answering machine. I'm sorry to say this but the guy working in the office answering the phone has to be the dumbest, most uninspired individual I've ever met. I always thought to myself that the guy has to be the owners son or a relative...there is no way someone would hire someone like this. All we as customers are asking for is a little bit of effort. God bless this young man. I hope he finds something in life that wakes him up.

I finally called Worldwide Power and was told they could get someone out. I was not informed that it would be overtime NOR mileage of $3.25 per mile. They were not able to fix the generator only diagnose. I received an invoice for "get this" $946.24!!!! Here's the breakdown: 2.5 hours labor at $255.00 per hour 63 miles @ $3.25 per mile Environmental fee 19.13 Supply Charge 12.75 (again, nothing supplied) Sales tax 72.12 (on all the above charges) including the mileage and fees They spent no more than 30-40 minutes to tell us they didn't have a part to fix it. I am very upset, and tried to negotiate and explain my feelings of gouging after such an event to no avail. Beware if you call them: ASK FOR EVERY CHARGE UPFRONT! After much back and forth, I was told they would credit the entire invoice which I appreciated more than you can know. However, that is not fair so I informed them I would send payment for 1/2 of the total charges as they do have to pay their worker and expenses. I am satisfied with the final customer service and have now given them 3 stars.
