Stir Fry Intestines I've been here twice for the roast pork and I agree that the roast pork is the best in town! It's juicy, tender, and extremely flavorful. The skin is sooo crispy. Even the accompanying sauce is excellent paired together. The price for roast pork is by the pound. They'll offer to cut or chop it as well. Payment in cash or card is accepted. As a takeout only spot, don't expect much in terms of service or ambiance. The focal point really is the food. The roast pork is superb. I'll be back to try the roast duck. read more

I came here because of the Yelp review. However, I'm having a hard time understanding their hours of operation as it changes quite too often. Finally! Another local in Fresno to get sir fried pork intestines (innards and ears) besides Chin's Kitchen. There's nothing wrong with Chin's, it just nice to not have to drive across town. And guess what?! The flavor's different here. Which is a good thing. My first time here (09/05/20) covid is still in full effect. The shop is small, but there were stickers on the floor to keep us apart. I haven't reviewed on Yelp in a long time! It appears that I use to judge too harshly. Malis is a solid 4 stars. I recommend. Get a roast duck and share it with some friends. If you like innards, you gotta try these out too. I know, everything I just recommended is on the heavier fatty side, well balance that sh*t out with some hot tea and a salad. Malis I will definitely be returning for some more innards. Sometimes I just want some simplicity in my life and likewise with my meals I don't want to overthink it and go to place that has a simple menu and is consistent and tasty. They have a great roast duck thats flavorful and delicious and their stir fry with the organ meats is also very good and spicy. Just a couple things to note, the stir fry is based on the weight of the organ meats you select and the roast duck is sold as whole and cant get a half duck. They also have roast pork, the pork itself was flavorful but the skin wasn't as crispy as I'd hoped. read more

This place is very good. They even waited for me after 6pm when I called to say I'll be a few mins late. I've had their roast duck, pork and intestines. All 3 are very consistent in taste. With intestines you get to pick the parts you want and heat level. read more

Had to give one star so I can post. My brother ordered a roast pig for an event yesterday. Looked beautiful but as soon as we started chopping the pig to serve, there was a stench. To describe the stench was a rotten smell. Like it was old. All the meat looked normal as it should until we got to the upper portion of the pig. The meat then was slimy and all mushed up. Called and the restaurant was able to only compensate ten dollars off the next order. Why would we want to order another roast pig to have ten dollars off for a next time when the pork was not edible and had a stench that ruined our appetite. Customer service at its worst and the quality of the roast pig was not up to a customer's par not would it have past health inspection. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to take pictures of the roast pig because of so many things happening during the event and plus you can't smell the stench from pictures. If time was on our side we would have packed and taken that roast pig back to the restaurant. What an embarrassment to our guests and a big waste of money that was spent. I also didn't post this yesterday when it happened due to time restraints and the amount of vulgar words that would have been utilized. Upset is not even the word to begin to describe what we felt when we started chopping the meat up. This restaurant is absurd and my appetite for the whole day was ruined. Nasty ass food that was made and given to hard earning and paying customers. read more

I came and purchased some pork belly that is still attached to the rib. Before he decided to cut it, he weighs it first, it came out to almost $20. To my surprise, when we open the box while driving out of town there was no ribs in the box? I just don't seem to understand why are we getting charged for the ribs when they aren't going to include that with the pork belly. I just thought that he should have asked if we wanted it or not since we were literally charged more due to the rib bone. Overall the customer service is good and pork was decent. read more
