Food is GREAT. Tastes so fresh compared to Panda Express. This is real authentic Chinese food. It's a must try. Get the Broccoli Beef!!!!

Very friendly staff. Pho was just okay. Not the best broth and there were loads of noodles.

chow mein with chicken and vegetables & salmon curry

I wish this spot impressed me more due to its high ratings online. My friend and I got here about an hour and a half before closing. The place was empty at our arrival with some regulars trickling in throughout our time there. We ordered two main dishes: salmon curry and beef stir fry, and swapped one of our sides of rice with chicken chow mein. We didn't realize the noodles were going to be such a huge portion and were surprised! However, the beef was a bit tougher than expected and didn't shine as a stir fry. The salmon curry had a good amount of fragrance, and the curry sauce was not spicy at all, despite ordering "spicy." The heat primarily came from a chopped green pepper (possibly jalapeño?) with seeds. The chicken in the chow mein was somewhat dry, but this dish was our favorite. The dishes themselves had deep sweet, salty, and savory flavors. I'm not exactly sure if shrimp paste was used, but there seemed to be a concentrated fishy flavor going on that was too pungent for my liking. Perhaps this is just with the dishes we ordered, but I would recommend trying something else off the menu! As a customer, I'd recommend researching the dishes that best represent Cambodian cuisine & asking the waiter for their recommendations. What did stand out was the politeness and attentiveness of our waiter. Knowing this is a family restaurant, I wish I could've loved this spot more. Although the food wasn't quite to my taste, the place was clean, the plating and service were excellent, and my friend enjoyed the meal. Even though my experience wasn't perfect, I encourage supporting local restaurants and hope they continue to improve.

I was surprised that there was a Cambodian restaurant here in Fresno since I am from interstate and was just stopping by overnight. There aren't many Cambodian restaurants where we are from and I was missing some home cooked food, I thought this place would help to hit the spot. There are plenty of parking spots in front of the restaurant. When we pulled up, we were a bit confused if was still a Cambodian or Vietnamese restaurant since it also had the word Pho displayed outside. There was only one other table occupied when we arrived on a weeknight. It is a family run restaurant, so it is definitely authentic home style cooked Cambodian food. The Angkor special had a sweet soup base and was delicious. It was accompanied with a generous amount of mint leaves and bean sprouts to add into the soup dish. The rice noodle with pork dish definitely hit the spot. Although it was missing peanuts on the side which it's normally meant to come with (most probably wouldn't have known this unless you are Cambodian), I asked the server for a side of peanuts and she kindly went to get me some. Overall, an authentic Cambodian restaurant, a little bit on the pricier side of what I'm used too for a Cambodian restaurant, but it's always nice to support a small local restaurant.

Party portion Lok Lak was delicious

Sweetest owners! Food never disappoints! Highly recommend! #13 pho is my go to! They have many party tray options just ask the owner they will accommodate to your event!

My mother called and ordered 2 regular chicken pho's(white meat) and an order of shrimp veggie rolls. The worker was kind and said it would be 15 minutes. We went to get it. The restaurant is clean and safe. Good music playing. The workers are masked. The order wasn't ready yet when we arrived on time. We waited. There were people eating in the restaurant enjoying their lunches. Wow! My mother had a fit! She watched the worker drop part of our food order(the shrimp spring rolls) and she actually picked it up and gave it to my mother. Shocked! My mother told her she watched her drop it and give it to her. The worker got freaked out by mother. My mother ordered her to make a fresh order. Of course, we waited longer for fresh after that was done. Hope they don't do that to other customers. We got back to have it and I set it all up. The chicken pho was really good! It came with a bunch of toppings to add to make it better! Fresh jalapeños. Spicy Sriracha soy sauce too! Tasty! The shrimp spring roll was really good too! Liked the peanut sauce that came with it. Yum! My mother said hers was really good. Leftovers too! Just wish the situation with my mother didn't happen. They would have got more stars. It was good! Not good for others health for that to happen and hope they don't do that to other customers. Especially in these times. FYI!

We had an awesome experience dining experience at Angkor. We love Cambodian food and were looking for the classics. We ordered lok lak (marinated beef served with tomato, lettuce, lemon pepper dipping sauce), somlor machu kreung (sweet and sour lemongrass soup with all trimmings), bbq pork and vermicelli noodles with egg rolls served with their sweet dipping sauce which is a must, and some non-Cambodian dishes but still delicious--orange chicken and pad Thai. The classics were each a home run experience--tasted just like eating at home except I wouldn't make it at home because it takes too long. Haha! The flavors are complex and SO DELICIOUS! Very nice sized portions--you're definitely getting your bang for your buck. The pad Thai and orange chicken, although not authentic Cambodian dishes we also well-made. We also enjoyed those! The egg rolls were on point, well stuffed and crispy! The server was nice and friendly, the restaurant was spacious--I easily got around in my wheelchair with enough space between tables. It seems they have quick Chinese food options as well, and restroom was clean. Definitely coming again!

Papaya salad with fried chicken. So yummy!

Food was great! So glad I could come out to support this local restaurant. Thai style papaya salad with fried chicken 7/10 Fried chicken was very fresh and crunchy. Loved that. First time ever I've seen fried chicken as a side with papaya salad but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Generous serving. Fresh, sour, sweet, and medium spice was perfect in salad. Only complaint is that I requested for Thai style and it looks quite clear to me that I received Laos style. (Thai is typically very dark colored sauce). Not sure if this is their version of Thai. Combo pho 8/10 Broth was very delicious. Noodles were bouncy. I had a nasty hangover and this pho broth did it's job in hitting the spot. Would come here again with family and friends. Appreciated the generous serving of limes. Unfortunately many pho restaurants provide little condiments but I received a heaping amount with my bowl.

    Rice porridge
    Jozel R.

Been here a few times before. Open space, plenty of seating. Usually come here for the rice porridge whenever I have the cravings for it or sometimes I would call to pick up my order. They are very friendly. Once we enter we are always greeted and you can usually choose where you sit. Today for dinner we got the usual rice porridge with shrimp spring rolls. For some reason today the service was a bit slow, and they are not usually like that. It felt a while until we got our order especially the spring rolls. We were almost done with the rice porridge and we were still waiting on the spring rolls. The rice porridge is very good and consistent every time we come. It never disappoints. Very flavorful and I would have to say it's second best after pho. Definitely hits the spot when I'm hung over or sick or just simply craving it. The spring rolls were just okay, definitely had better else where.

Great food great people, one of my favorite places to eat pho. Probably the best tendons in town

#27 so good every time! My son loves the pho we never have to add seasoning just a little Chile for heat.

The location is right next to a gas station so little parking available. They have a food truck outside next to their dine-in inside. I like that they have a limited menu so that's was good. I will say this, I've never had Hmong food so I am not sure how it should taste. I order half dozen egg rolls and three spring rolls, and a large Nab Vam drink. The egg rolls were crispy, although the glass noodles inside caught me off guard. Actually, I didn't like them... I do like their sweet and spicy sauce though. The spring rolls were nice and thick, and I like that they add pork to theirs. Definitely filling. However, their peanut sauce is overwhelming spicy. It kinda masks the nutty flavor of the peanut butter. The drink was ok. I love how colorful it was. I listen to the guy and shake my drink well, but I didn't find it no where sweet. I think I had expectations that it would taste like a boba drink but yea it felt off for me. Other wise, it's ok. I ended up disagreeing with my friend on the eggrolls claim lol

Noticed a fellow yelper and old friend who made a stop here as well a few yrs ago. So cant say no to that! Food was delicious and authentic! It is limited to what Im used to but completely understands due to the area and preferences of the community. Most important is the main items are good. Let say it was good enough I wished I had more. Almost ordered for seconds! Got #1 plus bone marrow and #41 pork chop with eggs rice plate. Then topped it off with Vietnamese coffee for the long drive home. I barely drank half and feel the jitters already so drink in sips, people! Then again I recently cut back on coffee which doesn't help but you have been warned if you don't drink coffee routinely. What stood out extra was the amazing customer service. The ambiance is what you expect from a typical pho spot - no frills, just damn good food. I'll be dreaming of this spot phoever.

I actually really enjoyed the Thai tea. It wasn't as sweet as other places and It had a very creamy flavor to it. As far as my dish, I thought it had really good flavor profile, it wasn't too sweet and it wasn't spicy at all. My only gripe is I didn't really get that much chicken and I don't like to fill up on just noodles because that's empty calories and not as satisfying. Next time I will probably order extra chicken with an up charge. I sampled the other two dishes and they had good flavors as well. Nothing tasted bland here. The one dish we could agree was good was my sons, otherwise this might be a 2 star review. But let me set up the stage. We've been going all day. 2 of us haven't eaten all day, and it's 3:00 pm. We're very hungry! And my wife has a headache that she is trying to brave for the sake of our daughter. She just promoted to high school a few minutes early, and really, it's her fault we are here. She wanted fried rice and this is what Yelp told us was a good place to eat. We walk in and while it's cooler than the 98 degrees outside, but it doesn't feel relieving. I later saw that the temperature was set to 85 degrees. The menu is pretty straightforward. I'm split between the beef salad, the laab and the Thai salad. I really like laab but only when it comes with sticky rice. Beef salad is one of my favorite dishes and it's really filling. But it has to be done right! The authentic spots usually get it right. The bourgeois restaurants usually get it wrong. I'm getting good vibes from Thai Season so I give it a go. Everyone else gets orange chicken, fried rice and garlic chicken with pad Thai. My daughter complained that her pork fried rice had huge chunks of broccoli and onion in it, but she still liked it. My wife felt her chow mein wasn't very good. I thought it was bland, but she liked her fried rice. My youngest liked his orange chicken and fried rice. My wife and I felt the orange chicken was just OK. Panda has better to be honest. My beef salad was just OK. Possibly the laziest way I've had it was with Italian dressing. 2 different restaurants for that too me. The way I like it, and the way I make mine, is with a homemade citrusy dressing. I could not pin the reason why this one failed, other than it tasted watered down. Hands down though, we all felt my sons garlic chicken and pad Thai was the best dish by far. I almost gave this 3 stars until I remembered I paid $92. Maybe I need to stay out of Clovis. Apparently they like bland food If there was one thing I liked, they serve everything in ready to go boxes.
