This place is always busy and popular! The staff here is kind and attentive. They make sure you're taken care of and that your drink is always full! The restaurant itself feels clean and cute. It's spacious enough too so you're not sitting right next to someone The food...their menu is a lot. There's so many options. With that said, some items are hit or miss. I normally stick to their sandwiches as it's simple and they're yummy. I have also tried their steaks. The sirloin had no seasoning. Their Alfredo pasta they offer as a side isn't the best. So again, be careful what you choose. I do enjoy this place overall and recommend them! But want to be honest and upfront about the quality of some of their items! read more

The positive highlights; on a Wednesday at dinner time. Full house. We were seated promptly. Able to hear our conversation. Our server was wonderful. We come here often. The last two times have been a bit of a let-down. I believe it falls below standard in the kitchen. I don't think anyone from management to owners are tasting the food. But when staff lets you know that certain menu items are not good, you should listen. I appreciate that honesty. (Don't get mad at your serving staff, be mad at your kitchen for not having higher standards and pride in what you put up!) Pizza was greasy and out of requested toppings. Roast beef sandwich was lacking flavor, seasoning and color. Au jus was missing flavor and salt. For $15, it was a huge disappointment. Fried pickles were soggy with grease. So bad, it pooled up in the bottom of the basket. Place was clean, easy for conversation. Someone needs to motivate your cooks though. We went to Malones with a group of 6 for an early dinner on a Saturday night. Unfortunately they had live music on the patio which meant we could not hear each other over that noise (horrible music!). Food was overcooked - onion rings so overdone they were tough. Fish & chips were 4 small, flat pieces of fish that were mostly overcooked breading - dry and tiny. We've ordered this before and got plump, meaty fish with crispy breading. Maybe whoever was manning the deep fryer was distracted and overcooked everything! It just ruined our meal All in all, our trip to Malone's was most disappointing. Well, I have been coming to this restaurant for the better part of 20 years. Haven't been in awhile because of the last 3 or 4 times. My son loves the pizza and the basic food is good. Tonight, I took a chance on the "special". A lobster roll. What I got was what looked like store bought shrimp? Maybe imitation lobster? salad ( that should be served cold), tossed in a hot pan and dropped on an over toasted roll. So disappointed in myself really. I expected more and got the same. Three stars...but not in a bad way. It was just mediocre I guess. For instance I got a GROWN UP grilled cheese with the works (it has vegetables on it in addition to cheese) and I could tell that the cheese was once hot and melted, but now it just solidified into a room temperature cheese in the shape of a melted cheese. You know what I mean? When it just gets a little dull looking like that and you know it sat for a while before anyone brought it out. And it was just kind of sad but fine. I wasn't mad because anger is my least felt feeling which is just a personal thing. But I did wish it was still hot. Someone else on here said their salad was wet. Mine was too. I wasn't sure like maybe they just washed the lettuce and they don't have a salad spinner? Sunday all you can eat Brunch Buffet. $19.99, Sundays only 9am-Noon. All nonalcoholic beverages are included. I stopped going here a while back because I feel the menu is too large thus the food is mediocre at best, which it is. I gave them another shot because I do like a buffet. I was very surprised as I thought it well above average for the price. The omelet station is excellent as it's the only option for eggs other than eggs benedict. I thought the food was high quality, hot, and a good selection of everything I like. Staff was great and went out of their way to try make it right but had their hands tied by the owner who refused to do anything about it and seemed to go out of her way to make the situation worse. Owner has refused to return a phone call for weeks and actually had the nerve to force our waitress (Who was not responsible at all for our drinks being wrong and all of our food being cooked terribly) to return a call instead of handling it herself like an adult because she is "tired of dealing with upset customers". Newsflash lady, that's what the owner of any decent establishment does. If you're not concerned enough to handle your own business like a big girl, sell it. Don't pawn your responsibilities as an owner off on your employees and put them in a terrible position because you're clueless and lazy. Your waitress should have quit on the spot and told you exactly where to stick it. The owner here couldn't care less about her customers or employees. Find any other place to spend your money. Any establishment that treats their long term employees and customers so poorly deserves to close. We live five minutes from this place in the neighborhood and will never return and have told everyone we know around here to never step foot in this dump. We've been visiting Malone's for years, generally for drinks. We decided to have dinner here the other night. We ordered wings and an individual pizza. On the plus side, the wings were very meaty. On the negative side, the pizza was soggy, it could have used another minute or two in the oven. Both items had probably been sitting in the window for a little while as neither of them were hot. Our server was kind in letting us take our sweet time in perusing the menu, as it was extensive and everything sounded delicious. We opted for large carafes of wine to split, while a few of us sipped on iced tea. I opted for a sirloin steak (cooked medium rare, cause duh), with a side house salad and loaded mashed potatoes. Been here several times and each time it gets worse than the last. Sat In the dining room. We ordered one beer on tap and another beer came in a can... open and served in a can. As other people have mentioned, menu is a bit overwhelming with almost too many choices. Been going to Malones for past 3 years that I have lived in Arvada. Last weekend was the last time. The food was terrible: I had the lettuce wrap and it looked like dog food, no lie and had the same mushy texture with no taste, the lettuce was warm and soft . When Manager walked by and asked how things were I said : well this is really terrible. The manager/owner , female , said it is one our favorite and that was that. Worse meal. We used Malone's back room for my grandson's graduation party last week. I have to give everyone at Malone's high praise for making the party a stress-free, huge success. Jeannie and Cassie were both so helpful in making the plans for the party. They were extremely flexible as far as our choices for refreshments - and bent over backwards to help us. We had appetizers served for everyone and the guests were also able to order off the regular menu. It was the best of both worlds!! All the food was fresh and tasty. Our waitress, Daron, was friendly, attentive, and timely with drink and food orders. The room is a good size - we had around 25 people and there was plenty of room. I would guess you could do 50 or so if necessary. On top of everything, when we received the bill we were very pleasantly surprised.
