Well after reading a previous review here, we wanted to give Maloney's a try, Sunday afternoon quiet we thought it would be a good spot for lunch and a couple beers, Not!! We go there, waited a few minutes to be seated, hostess passed us by and the couple in front of too, not even a smile or a nod to let us know she was aware of us breathing, well we opted to seat our selves in the bar area, we overheard another couple going up to the bar that was filled with what we assumed were regulars, bar tender hands them a menu, the man says to him"it's our first time here" bar tender rudely responds when you ready come up and place your food order! So we thought okay no wait staff, which is fine by us, we are casual non picky patrons, so we waited and waited to either be given a menu or the waitress or waiter that were on to bring us one..no such luck..bar is very nicely stocked with many taps..but the service or lack there of service and the demeanor of the ones that were there left a very bad impression, mind you it was 12:30 pm with maybe a dozen patrons in bar area none in restaurant..so we and what we noticed were three other couples got up and walked away.. We ended up at McDonough's in Keyport.. And we will not give Maloneys a second try no matter how many reviews or news paper articles we read about it! Shame on their service..
