They have over 100 beers on tap. The food is amazing quality; not your typical "bar food." I have eaten wings here as well as a cheeseburger, both excellent. I also give kudos to the service. The bartenders know everything about all beers on tap, which is quite an impressive feat. They will also let you sample many different beers before buying, in case you don't like some of the more exotic ones. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. Not a good experience. It took over an hour to get our food and we were maybe 1 of 3 parities (of 2) in the place. The bartender didn't even say anything to us and he could tell something was wrong. Then finally when it did come out it was just not that good. I want this place to be good! But it was a big disappointment. read more

I have been coming here for years and must say, this place is a gem. It's a crafts bar with over 100 beer taps from all over the world. What puts the bow on the box here is that the food is delicious and has an ever-changing specials section if you are looking for something new. Amazing beer selection! There are more than 100 beers on tap - no joke. Roger was our bartender. He was incredibly friendly and let us sample several different drafts. Beer is usually good, service is not good. You'll be waiting for 30 minutes plus just for an appetizer. Owner skimps on the service and it's obvious. It's a shame because the food is good too, but unless you have 3 hours for dinner, go somewhere else. Not worth it. read more

I try desperately to like this place, time and time again because the food is good and its a local place for me. Even though I was scoffed at when I referred to it as an Irish bar, becuase they are "clearly a gastro-pub". Duh. I must have been thrown off by the name of the place and the count down to st pat.s day on the wall.... they have done nice renovating since. But I.ve been to a lot of gastro pubs, Nd they don't have the travel channel on with goats being slaughtered on their tvs and doo wopp music blassssttinnggg on the speakers. I.d like to spend more money at this place but it takes me a few months to get over the blasting doo whop and sour pusses on the bar tenders face. I hope the owners renovate some of their staff like they did the decor Nd it might be just a bit more enjoyable. read more

Great pub food, amazing draft beer selection. Highly recommend the crispy chicken sandwich. Bar area is a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights for dinner seating, but definitely a fun place to be. Bar tenders and staff is very helpful with any questions. read more

I'm not sure what B.D. is talking about either. I was there for St. Patty's Day too and I only saw someone get kicked out for being disorderly. This is a very clean bar and everyone I was with had a great time there, as we usually do. Yes, certain beers can be pricey, but they always have beer specials. I like this bar for just what it is. Even though there is a mixed crowd from older to younger, this bar feels more mature and they don't tolerate crazy, immature, disorderly drunks- as they shouldn't. Nice surprise! We thought we were in store for typical bar food and were delighted to find fantastic food, beer, and service at Maloney's. We had the warm Brie appetizer with a fresh baguette and cranberry relish, follow by a delicious fish taco special. Our server, Stephanie, was friendly, attentive, and very helpful when it came to navigating the 2 page beer list. Towards the end of our meal, another staff member came by and offered to package up our leftovers. There wasn't a single thing to complain about and we will definitely be back. read more

Great beer selection, great food, and great service from our waitress Casey. We started with a French Onion soup that did not disappoint. The kids had meals off Maloney's kid menu. For under $7 a drink and dessert was included with their meal. The wife had the bratwurst sandwich, I tried a bite and both of us were pleased. I went with the most popular item on the menu, the Maloney Burger. This hit the spot and a bit more. The beer menu was full of interesting selections and our waitress Casey was able to guide us to 3 draughts that were great. Awesome! The people were nice, the ambiance was cute/clean and fun! This place is great for a few drinks or a nice casual dinner w/ the fam. My sister 'made her own' grilled chicken sandwich, i had a caesar salad w/ chicken and the rents had 2 burgers, one regular/classic style and the other bleu cheese. Everyone left satisfied and full but content with the meal and atmosphere! Beers were great, hogaarden was lovely with my salad, being it summer this light beer did me just right. My sister had Allagash was a recommendation and my mom and sister were so satisfied! All in all i recommend at any time of the year for any meal or not. I do love this place but I am only giving it 3 stars. Great food and great beer. Here are my complaints - 1. No flights. Okay, they say they provide free samples of the beer, but they should still offer some kind of tiered flight system. Or, instead of flights, offer half pours so we can try more without getting sloshed. I really love half-pours. 2. High prices. I am willing to pay $5 - $6 for delicious beers and there are some on the menu that are priced in that range but very few. This place is known among many people I've talked to as "The Home of the $10 Pint." 3. Too many beers. I know this sound's ridiculous but a huge beer list seems that it might drive the prices up. Shorten the list and lower the prices and I would be here 2 - 4 times a week. I am local and really cant afford to be as regular as I want. read more

Finally! We've been searching for a bar in this area forever, as it's a central meeting point for family and friends. They have a pretty decent list of beers on tap and you can actually sit and talk to people without it being too dark or the music being too loud. I hit my key goals, but then they went and gussied up the place. It's fine, because as a person with German roots, I always like their selection. Yes, some of the beers are a little higher than expected but many of the beers on the menu are $5.00. The most expensive is $10.00. In return the bartender will discuss any of the beers with you and let you sample a few before you decide. Do not go here if youa re looking to get drunk. It will be expensive. This is a bar for uncommon beers. You will not like all of them. When you find one you like, they may not have it next week. This is part of the appeal. Quality not quantity. read more
