Piping hot and incredibly fresh. The spice level was perfect. Just spicy enough but in no way overpowering. The plantains added a sweet element which played beautifully against the spice of the stew. The only place they lost points was the price on the website is not the price I was charged. $19 on the website and I was charged $25 but maybe they just haven't updated to reflect current prices. Regardless, I really enjoyed my food and can't wait to go back and try some other dishes. Edit: Take note, it doesn't say "The Island Grill" on the sign. It says "The African Grill."
