Went there last Tuesday. The entire restaurant smelled like the inside of a very dirty restroom. Even with masks on the smell was atrocious. It was not acknowledged ("sorry for the smell we had a plumbing issue rhsts been resolved" would have gone a long way). Food was fine. No better or worse than a $15 burger anywhere else. I am solely focused on diner comparison, not top notch restaurants. After seeing a good reviews on this cafe's.. I decided to give this one a try. I thought it was by far the best one of all diners Ive tried. Wait, I normally dont like diners. So it was a big of a deal!! I had their special- a hot wrap with chicken, spinach, and all other goodies. I could only eat a half of it. I am stuffed. Macaroni salad was good, too. My friend had a lumberjack for lunch. french toast, sausage, bacon, home fries, and eggs. It was good! We enjoyed crispy home fries. It was not oily or soft. It was perfection. The only thing I think that needs some improvement is the design of menu and its decor. It was difficult for me to decide which meal I would like to try after looking at about 5 pages. They need to minimize and cook its best to its potential! The decor is sweet and cozy but with its great reviews.. its no doubt that one day they will make some improvements in the future! read more

We really wanted to try Mama Lor's because of all of the great reviews we've seen! It was a cute space and nice atmosphere. The food was good - I had hash and eggs and I love the seasoning on the spuds! My husband had a meat lover omelet and we split blueberry pancakes. Everything tasted great and we took some home because we were so full! Unfortunately our server was very abrupt and only stopped once, and that was to drop off our check (another waitress brought our food). She charged us for an extra soda and it was difficult to get her attention to ask for it to be taken off the bill and for a togo box. Overall it was great food but the service was "meh." It's a bit out of our way so we aren't dying to go back right away... someday maybe, though! read more

I stopped here on a Sunday morning to have breakfast or lunch. I wasn't sure what I was in the mood for. The place was very busy which is a good sign. I opted for breakfast and my friend did lunch. The Cowboy caught my eye -2 eggs, 2 pancakes,2 strips of bacon, 2 sausage links and an order of Union Spuds ( cubed potatoes seasoned). I always like to try pancakes at every breakfast place I can. They either make or break a breakfast for me. They did not disappoint. They are huge, fluffy and light. My eggs were sunny side up as ordered with a vibrant orange yolk. Very fresh eggs. Union spuds were hearty and flavorful and bacon and sausage cooked just right. My friend order the bacon, apple and cheddar panini. It also was big with a side of chips. Needless to say we brought half of our meals home. Coffee was hot and good. This place is huge so don't be scared off at a crowded parking lot. There is plenty of room inside. We went for breakfast- 8 of us. We called ahead and they had a table set up for us and ready to go. Coffee upon arrival- help yourself (I love this). The menu is full list amazing breakfast foods... I love the potato pancakes! They are my new substitute for breakfast potatoes. Speedy service, constant coffee refills (a must!). Delicious... To go breakfast is not as good as it use to be. French toast portion is small and thin and they throw the butter packets on top of the actual food. They have forgotten syrup twice. The omelette are small and the bacon portion is usually burnt and scarce now . There is a big difference in presentation, quality and portion when you dine in but it's not a good breakfast spot to grab to go. It's overpriced for what you receive. read more

Lunch today at the newer Lake Rd location. The building is nice looking and fits the neighborhood well. Inside, it felt like someone unloaded tables and chairs and set them up in an hour inside the open dining space. Not a very warm or charming feel to the inside. It was new construction, and it lacked personality. The entire place was chilly as if the head was turned way down at night, and the place never heated up. The bathroom was entirely unheated and maybe 15 degrees cooler than the rest of the chilly place. The menu was simple, mostly having sandwiches, wraps and paninis. I was in the mood for meatloaf, but they didn't have dinner food of that sort. My sandwich was very good, the roll toasted in a way that made it amusingly tasty. I may go back, but I wouldn't want to take a client there and freeze them out. I have better experiences at the original location. read more

By far my favorite breakfast place in town! I live right down the road from it, so my family and I have breakfast here very often! The food is amazing (breakfast is my personal favorite) and the staff is super friendly and efficient. The owner is the sweetest lady don't hesitate to talk to her if you see her! The parking is a bit of a hassle which is why I usually walk, but you can park in the road if necessary. All in all, I love this place and would recommend you to go if you are in the area! read more
