Really great breakfast. We have been three times now and I can't wait to go back. Quaint restaurant with mismatched chairs, mugs and a very towny feel to it. You can tell regulars surrounded us while we were eating. While you wait for a table they have a coffee station to fill up while you wait for a table. Great idea! First time I ordered the special, an Italian sausage bruschetta omlette and my husband ordered biscuits and sausage gravy. Both were excellent. The sausage gravy was heavy - he couldn't finish the dish with three full biscuits smothered in the gravy. My omelette was really good but the mozzarella really didn't give it much flavor. I think what would have made it even better was some basil leaves on top to give it that real bruschetta feel. I can honestly say the last time we went - fourth of July weekend - I had one of the best things I have ever ate. Lori (Owner) came up with this on a whim and it was to die for. The Wine and Cheese Omelet. Omelet wrapped around salami, mozzarella and chopped up pieces of french bread - covered with a wine/cheese sauce. I literally devoured it and I can't wait to see it on the menu again. I love Lori. After only going three times she already knows both of our names. Makes us feel so welcome and like it's home. This is easily, and excitedly, my new favorite diner/restaurant in the Rochester area. I was turned onto them via a friend who went there, and after seeing their updated special for the weekend on Facebook, I scheduled a visit as soon as possible. There's no way I was missing out on... (get this) ... "creme brule stuffed french toast with pecan butter sauce." Safe to say, it was as sinful as it sounds, and comes in a short and tall stack. Amazing. The full-to-the-brim parking lot is intimidating, but they have a very roomy interior that doesn't feel crowded at all. They have a lunch and dinner menu, as well as a beer and liquor license, and I only wish they were within walking distance. They are incredibly friendly, and I LOVE their mugs. You get a different one every time. Very quaint and personable. I plan to bring every visitor and friend here for a meal whenever possible. Just wonderful. read more

There are few times in one's life where you discover a place like Mama Lor's. This little cafe, nestled in the less busy part of Webster, is a gem. Not only is the food great, and copious, but the restaurant is clean and the service quick and friendly. We brought our two young daughters here today and they had cinnamon bun pancakes (HUGE, fluffy, and delicious), and the hubs and I both had 104 Potholes (sausage gravy over eggs and Union Spuds, crispy and delicious). As we prepared to pay, the waitress came over and said someone had picked up our check! What a pleasant surprise. :-) We will definitely be back. I especially liked the coffee bar touch...you walk in the front, and coffee machines are ready with mugs, creamer and sugar nearby so you can have a hot cup while you wait! read more

I am not sure why I don't eat here more. My wife works nearby and I am always thrilled with the experience and the food. This is a Diner, so expect to order something that is Diner Food. I can't even make a recommendation because everything is great here. Get a sandwich of some kind, have them melt some cheese on it. I stopped here on a Sunday morning to have breakfast or lunch. I wasn't sure what I was in the mood for. The place was very busy which is a good sign. I opted for breakfast and my friend did lunch. The Cowboy caught my eye -2 eggs, 2 pancakes,2 strips of bacon, 2 sausage links and an order of Union Spuds ( cubed potatoes seasoned). I always like to try pancakes at every breakfast place I can. They either make or break a breakfast for me. They did not disappoint. They are huge, fluffy and light. My eggs were sunny side up as ordered with a vibrant orange yolk. Very fresh eggs. Union spuds were hearty and flavorful and bacon and sausage cooked just right. My friend order the bacon, apple and cheddar panini. It also was big with a side of chips. Needless to say we brought half of our meals home. Coffee was hot and good. This place is huge so don't be scared off at a crowded parking lot. There is plenty of room inside. I love the potato pancakes! They are my new substitute for breakfast potatoes. Speedy service, constant coffee refills (a must!). Delicious... My husband and is favorite breakfast/ lunch spot. We've been going consistently for about 3 years now. Everyone knows us and treats us like family. It's a huge part of why we keep going back. The biggest reason though is the food! The union spuds are seriously the best potatoes I've ever had. The portions are always solid and the quality is awesome. To go breakfast is not as good as it use to be. French toast portion is small and thin and they throw the butter packets on top of the actual food. They have forgotten syrup twice. The omelette are small and the bacon portion is usually burnt and scarce now . There is a big difference in presentation, quality and portion when you dine in but it's not a good breakfast spot to grab to go. It's overpriced for what you receive. read more

Lunch today at the newer Lake Rd location. The building is nice looking and fits the neighborhood well. Inside, it felt like someone unloaded tables and chairs and set them up in an hour inside the open dining space. Not a very warm or charming feel to the inside. It was new construction, and it lacked personality. The entire place was chilly as if the head was turned way down at night, and the place never heated up. The bathroom was entirely unheated and maybe 15 degrees cooler than the rest of the chilly place. The menu was simple, mostly having sandwiches, wraps and paninis. I was in the mood for meatloaf, but they didn't have dinner food of that sort. My sandwich was very good, the roll toasted in a way that made it amusingly tasty. I may go back, but I wouldn't want to take a client there and freeze them out. I have better experiences at the original location. read more

By far my favorite breakfast place in town! I live right down the road from it, so my family and I have breakfast here very often! The food is amazing (breakfast is my personal favorite) and the staff is super friendly and efficient. The owner is the sweetest lady don't hesitate to talk to her if you see her! The parking is a bit of a hassle which is why I usually walk, but you can park in the road if necessary. All in all, I love this place and would recommend you to go if you are in the area! read more
