As far as the decor goes, there is nothing special about this place. It's a clean and simple setup with plenty of seating for couples and big parties alike. Although the restaurant was mostly full, the atmosphere was parallel to that of sitting at home and enjoying a meal while watching a muted tv or listening to some relaxing music. The waiters are made up of a father and son duo and the chef is none other than mom. You'll be treated with nothing less than big smiles and a desire for you to enjoy your meal. The meals consist of large portions, a plethora of inexpensive choices, and all of them packed with lots of flavor. The Nacatamal (Nicaraguan tamale) is out of this world; chunks of chicken and pork with some potato, rice, and a few veggies all wrapped up in banana leaf. The Sopa de Res (Beef soup) was huge and packet with veggies. Rice and white corn tortillas included with the soup. You mix the rice into the soup when you are about to eat it. The queso frito (fried cheese) is delicious by itself or with a salad. It's a white cheese with a sponge-like texture and a high melting point, making it great for frying. As far as payment, they accept all major forms of payment.

Prices seemed a bit high for what you get. Just an average spot overall, probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back.
