My friend and I tried this place out while visiting Charlotte. It had a room that you could rent out for business uses. I got a matcha latte with ube....it was delicious! I also got the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and enjoyed every bite. My friend got the avocado toast, and devoured it! I loved that this coffee shop had hot food items instead of just pastries.

My baby and I were in the area and decided to stop by Platform coffee. I had been here before with my best friend, so this was my 2nd time visiting. The ambiance is everything, such a nice clean space. The noise level was at a medium, so to me not an ideal place to work, but there were definitely people there working on their lap tops. We were greeted right away, and they guy that took our order was really nice. I ordered a breakfast burrito and an iced oatmilk chai, and a bacon egg and cheese crossaint with a tropical smoothie for my son. Our food didn't take too long to come out, service was quick! I had been hearing that they had the best breakfast burrito in Charlotte, but I honestly didn't care for the burrito, they used to much of whatever sauce they use in it (maybe a chipotle mayo sauce), and that's all I could taste. It had avocado, sausage, egg and cheese, but all I tasted was that sauce.. My chai was nice, my son really enjoyed his breakfast sandwich and his smoothie. I was able to taste his smoothie and it was super tasty. Platform is always a vibe, and we'll be back for sure!

Can I get a hallelujah for having gluten free bread for the breakfast sammies?! This place is so gorgeous inside, and the seating areas are cute and spacious. The sweet girl taking my coffee order was very efficient and friendly, and my food and drink were prepared quickly and accurately! I could totally see this being a great WFH spot due to the amount of space available and fast WiFi, but the music/talking made the space a little noisier than I'd care for if I were reading or working.

I'm not sure what Ube is, but it is fantastic. You've got to try the moonlight drink. Get it hot, get it iced, just get it. I got it hot and it was so tasty. I went to the TX conference and even though the place was packed they were moving right along like a well oiled machine. They also have a fantastic breakfast burrito that I will be coming back for

This place is great. I visited on a Wednesday while in the area for an event and it was the perfect lunch/ coffee break spot. I really enjoyed my steak wrap and I was able to add a fried egg for added protein. I also had an iced matcha with oat milk and a pump of vanilla syrup. It was such a fun time. My colleagues had a tropical smoothie and a ube matcha latte. Overall the service here was great. It was also pretty buzzing with remote workers.

We came early in the morning and it was a good way to start off the day! We were one of the first people there but they kept having people steadily come through as we were enjoying our breakfast. I'd recommend coming for a coffee and to grab a bite. We got a basic drip coffee, which was strong and also the breakfast burrito, which was so flavorful and delicious! Service is quick. The space is very clean and spacious.

Super cute inside with plenty of seating. Lots of meet ups, people working. Didn't feel overly noisy, was able to be productive and work. Latte was wonderful and bacon egg and cheese croissant was SO good. If I was a local this would absolutely be my spot.

Every time I come here I am impressed, but this took the cake. I came around 12 on Valentines Day and they were SLAMMED! I saw a Neopolitan latte advertised and I really wanted to try so I decided to stick it out- Not only was the staff cool under pressure, but my food came out in less than 5 mins - croissant hot and crusty, chicken salad as delicious as ever. The drink took a little longer but they have an Marzocco machine so hand pulling all the shots takes more time than an automatic machine like Eversys (I think the product is worth the labor). The latte was scrumptious and so was my food. Staff made this busy experience enjoyable. Vibes here never fail.

I love, love, love Platform! Every time I go, I get the same wonderful service, same delicious food, & coffee. That avocado toast is food art! And the bacon & hash browns are always cooked to perfection. Quick service, even when they're busy. The ambiance is top tier, too! Only downside is the parking situation. Prices are reasonable.

Lovely spot for breakfast or lunch! Great coffee and a menu with so many tasty options. Highly recommend the ceasar salad or honey and cinnamon latte. Good service and atmosphere too.

Searched for a coffee place with a decent menu size for breakfast and this was definitely the spot! I'm not a big coffee fan so I got the smoothie which wasn't on the menu but available for sale and it tasted super fresh and not too sweet. My boyfriend on the other hand got the latte and he loved it but wish it was hotter. For breakfast, I got the avocado toast and it was life changing and probably worth the $10 with all of the different toppings they put on it. There are lots of seating options inside and outside and a decent amount of parking which is great. They have a water station to grab and go which I appreciated it all. Looking forward to coming here again!

What a cute spot - perfect for coffee, lighter breakfast and lunch fare and remote working. I enjoyed my experience at Platform coffee. It's very chill, the employees were super nice and most importantly the coffee is solid. They even sell freshly roasted coffee beans. They also offer a few tea options if coffee isn't your thing. The fruit in my yogurt bowl was fresh - no premade anything or frozen fruit. I'll likely return for remote working or for grabbing coffee with friends. There is an outdoor area that is dog friendly - but just a heads up the pups cannot come inside the shop.

I know I made it look very pretty in my photos, but don't be fooled. Here is the complete review. We found the green tomatoes bland and appeared to have been frozen before being prepared. The "Gravy Train" with the mini biscuit was inedible. The gravy itself was OK. Nothing special, not one of the three were "great." But the mini biscuits were terrible, hard, dense chunks of dough. I ate one of them and discarded the rest. The "Chicken Ditch the Waffle" was equally terrible. Whatever they did to turn the biscuit into "fake" French toast is a 100% fail. They were as dense and unappealing as the mini biscuits. The chicken itself was fine. If I was only rating the chicken I'd probably give it a 3.5. The best dish was actually the "GOAT." It was served with a Standard biscuit which we thought was still too dense and dry. I recommend finding an independent restaurant that serves real, "from scratch" food. I should point out that the service crew in the dining room who delivered the food as well as provided cleanup and assistance, were exceptional. They were friendly, courteous, and focused on customer service. I'm sure they deserve more than they are being paid. It was obvious many of them were spanish-speaking immigrants. Not everyone in the restaurant treated them with the respect and gratitude they deserve. Here's the detail of our order from their menu. They even have a "Dietary Preference" menu (look for it online), with keto, gluten-free, and vegetarian options. Some servers aren't aware of this menu, but they will see it in their Toast device if they look for it. We have landed on a couple of favorite dishes that are repeats for us. I like the Spanish Omelet keto-style. Instead of a biscuit and grits, you get a half of an avocado (sliced) and a roasted tomato. The omelet is always full of flavor, and I love it. My husband's favorite is their White Chocolate Bread Pudding Pancakes, with bacon ($2 extra). Don't let the name deter you--these pancakes aren't too thick. They are slightly chewy, and the white chocolate whiskey sauce is amazing. He rarely uses the syrup! Ruby's coffee is always good and strong, and their service is great, no matter who you get. The service is always fast and friendly, and of course, the food is good! I started with the fried green tomatoes, and they were easily the highlight of the meal. They were fried so well and topped with bacon, tomato, lettuce, and a tasty remoulade. I'm still thinking about them honestly! For my entrée, I ordered the 3 Little Pigs Omelet. Unfortunately, it was a bit underwhelming. It was smaller than I expected and didn't really resemble an omelet. It was a little messy and slightly runny for my taste. On the side, I added a single pancake and a bowl of grits, both of which were delicious though. I had a good experience and will definitely be back. I just wish the omelet had been prepared a little better.

There are enough combinations that you could come back several times and order something different each visit. I ordered the Chicken and Red Velvet Waffle. It comes with crispy fried chicken, a red velvet waffle, cream cheese drizzle, syrup, and cinnamon butter. The chicken was crispy and juicy, although a few bites were a little salty. Not every bite, and the syrup balanced it out nicely. The cinnamon butter was a nice touch. However the waffles literally disintegrated under the chi My daughter ordered the Crab Cake Benedict Biscuit, and we shared it. It comes with a crab cake, sunny side up eggs, arugula, spinach, and hollandaise on a flaky biscuit. We also shared an order of Crispy Brussels Sprouts. I had never heard of bacon jam before seeing it on the menu. If you like to customize your food, you'll have fun here. I came in expecting average and left planning my next visit.
