Finally got to try this place for lunch. It was a very cute cafe and has nice pastry options. I got a seasonal spritz which was delicious. My niece got a matcha latte that she liked as well. For pastries we got the pastry assortment and chose 3 different croissants. The almond was my fav! I will say we came on a Saturday during lunch and it didn't seem too crazy busy but our waiter was a bit slow at getting our orders and checking up on us. Hope they work on attending to customers more. It is a bit pricey for a cafe but I figured that's what's expected of this place being that it's new to Dallas.

Upon walking in we were impressed with the nice patio and simple but elegant dining room. After sitting, we noticed that the tables were too small, the water glasses were dirty, the service was quite slow and the server didn't know much about the menu. From far away, the food looked good, but it did not deliver when eating it. I had the eggs ratatouille, but it was very watery and unseasoned, served with sourdough that was very hard. The maman's breakfast sandwich had uncooked egg whites, stale brioche, and overall unimpressive.

I want to start this review off by stating that I am usually a drink chugger and thus go through…read morecoffee very quickly. I drink coffee daily, and will drink just about anything. Lately, I've been into iced lattes with chocolate flavoring but my usual go to is a basic cortado (should have ordered that instead). I couldn't tell you what was wrong with the drink, but I can tell you that I must not have liked it very much considering I didn't have the urge to chug it. I also don't really want to finish it. I think maybe the flavoring of the syrup is stronger than the taste of the espresso and this is why I think I should have ordered my usual. I did sit in the cafe and the vibe is really neat and clean. The seats are comfortable and there are plenty of places to sit down. The walls are basically just big windows which is great for a people-watcher such as myself. The music is a little loud, which isn't a problem for me because I am not doing anything remotely productive but had I been here expecting to get work done, I'm not sure I would have succeeded. The people were super nice when I ordered and I even watched them go around and clean the surfaces which is always a good sign. As I look around, I notice that everyone else sitting in the cafe has mostly half consumed beverages that have been sitting awhile (they look a little watered down). Maybe I just don't like the espresso which is a preference thing. I'd say definitely give it a try and see if you like it. Not sure I'll be back, personally. Also, the music is definitely getting louder. This is my queue to leave.

I went to visit their original location on Northwest Hwy. conveniently located right next to the Dallas Police Northwest Division. Fun fact: did you know that they have a roastery next to their original location? How amazing! However, that one is by appointment only, so check with them for more details. Shoutout to the White Rock Coffee staff for welcoming us back with open arms, as well as introducing new drinks to us that were of high demand and interest. One, however, that really did catch my eye, was my all time-favorite: the White Rocker, which included two shots of espresso, whole milk, and their signature White Rock syrup. My friend on the other hand, got the Lone Star Latte -- chai with a hint of that White Rock syrup that they put in there as well! Because of their roastery, all of their coffee beans are sourced from local partners and cooked and roasted right here in the heart of Dallas. I'm just really glad that I was able to really catch up with the times that there are, honestly. I'll definitely be back to visit more whenever I'm in the DFW! Y'all have my support! :)

The coffee had just the right amount of sweetness, and the oatmeal cream pie was the standout. My daughter and I both loved it and would definitely come back just for that. Overall, a great little find. I'll definitely be back to try more treats soon!

While both were good, I especially enjoyed the flavor of the mushroom one. The florentine tasted a little bit more plain than I like. The portions were surprisingly generous, which was a nice bonus. I also picked up an egg and pepper kolache and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated, and the kolache actually ended up being my favorite item of the meal. There was a steady flow of customers the entire time I was there, which says a lot about the place. The staff were all friendly and easy to talk to. I really liked the décor and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to sit back and enjoy my breakfast. I'll definitely be back to try more things.
