    hazelnut praline latte
    Faith-Carmen L.

ordered this seasonal drink -- hazelnut praline latte -- i got it less sweet and thought it was really yummy! service was quick too. it wasn't too sweet and had an authentic, homemade hazelnut flavor, not like the torani coffee syrup most cafes sell. i always think the prices here are a bit steep but they're consistent and i like that their flavors are made in house

It's a very small interior, just a few tables and very claustrophobic. I placed an order at the counter for a caprese sandwich. It took about 15 minutes for them to make it because there were two orders before mine. There's nowhere to wait for your food order. No matter where you wait, you're in the way. The caprese was warm, cut in two, tasted really fresh and incredible, and felt like a good value despite the $14 price tag. The pastry selection was pretty decent, and everything looked fresh and neatly arranged. The cashier seemed like she hated her job. If you wanna see some happy employees, go to Tatte!

Cute little coffee shop and bakery with a variety of yummy treats and beverages options. Arrived and was greeted and helped promptly. I ordered a cappuccino and their famous chocolate cookie. Both were delicious! Perfect place to sit and relax and unwind with yummy treats!

Wow what a cute little cafe. The coffee was really good. I got a caramel latte with oat milk. I didn't like that there was an up charge for milk alternative though. The cashier had the typical gen z stare kind of service. There was more personality from the barista. The Nutella beignet was filling and not overly sweet. I definitely will be coming back.

Besides the prices (which I'm sure are pretty much standard for DC, I'm just unused to the exorbitant prices here as a tourist) I have zero complaints. I got the everything croissant sandwich and it was divine. You can definitely taste the quality in each ingredient, especially the salmon, and the flavors mesh together beautifully. It's also clearly freshly made which just makes it a practically perfect croissant sammie. Also grabbed the cinnamon bun kouign maman as an impulse purchase and did not regret it at all. I went late in the day so I didn't expect it to be very fresh, but it was still soft and flaky which was a sweet surprise. You can taste the buttery richness but you can't feel it -- wildly delicious. The decor is a bit gaudy, but they pull it together nicely and the muted colors make it much less offensive to the eye and probably a very chill environment to do some work in. But the dishes are the star of the show anyway so I would suggest sitting down and eating there just to get a look at some of their gorgeous plates!

    The Katie and hot chocolate

The Katie and hot chocolate were delicious and the costumer service was great! The workers were very helpful and quick to serve us our food.

Wow wowee wow wow wow. Just 2 reviews but this place deserves the 5 star rating! We came here yesterday morning for pastries and they did not disappoint. We got an apple jam cupcake with chai frosting, ham and cheese croissant, like this croissant cylinder with vanilla cream on top, as well as a small coffee. Everything was wonderful and tasty. We returned again today after trying out un je ne sais quois and being thoroughly disappointed by their stale selection. This time we got 2 pistachio croissants to go (a popular item they said), a square croissant, and a cream filled croissant, and a honeycomb croissant. Can't wait to try them out!!!! Also, apparently saints get their pastries here? Tmi but I asked a customer that was leaving the shop if they had a pad and they didn't but lived nearby and ran back across the street to give me some. I guess you are what you eat cuz she is so good. Shout out to the kind young lady with the curly hair who helped out a woman in need!

didn't know it was petite when i walked in... but got the overnight oats & honeycomb latte! sad it was premade & the seeds in the latte were kinda weird. but it was a fine experience, would love to give it another try.

Love their vegan options (croissants, carrot cake, etc)! Pretty good coffee and matcha lattes too. The prices are pretty standard for coffee shops/bakeries of this kind. This particular location is small, and only really has seating outside, compared to other Maman spots like Navy Yard. I've found the service to be friendly at all locations. Overall I'm glad this chain expanded to DC!

Was in DC and wanted to get some pastries and noticed that there is now a petite maman near Dupont?! The place is definitely more of a pickup and go but they do have a small amount of seating both inside and outside. When I got inside, I was captivated by the pistachio croissant holiday tree. I asked the person working what it was and he was unsure and there was also no sign around it saying what it was and what was inside (which I thought was a little odd). He was able to ask another worker and then when I heard pistachio croissant, I decided I wanted to get it. The croissant was delicious but this is definitely a pastry I would share/split with someone. The croissant itself is flaky and soft and the inside is filled with pistachio cream. I wished that the cream had a bit more pistachio flavor but it seemed to have a bit of an almond flavor as well which kind of over powered the pistachio flavor. Overall, would like to come back to try some other pastries as they have a WIDE selection and also their coffee!!

This time we had our baby and I wasn't impressed with the lack of sides or anything to get for her. We asked for two eggs scrambled with cheese but were told we'd have to buy an egg prosciutto sandwich for $11 and tell them we didn't want any of the items. Um, no. The tuna sandwich asked for lettuce and told can't add lettuce. My husband asked for something not on his lamb pita, same story. Oh well. No customization at all, no subs. Makes business easier, but not as attractive for price point for customers. I'll remember to keep it to coffee and pastries from now on. Chicken pita was good, a bit heavy on the parsley but loved the dressing. Tuna sandwich was a hit. Pastries are always good. My pistachio latte was chewy bc it had grainy bits of pistachio in it. Not to my liking. $70 for three sandwiches, two coffees and two cookies.

They were playing bossa and jazz. I opted for the Aren latte and Indonesian beef rissole. Aren latte: 5/5 Latte with an in-house made 3/5 Aren (palm sugar from West Java) for that hint of molasses and dark brown sugar This was one of my favorite coffees I've had in a while. There was a delicious coffee taste not overshadowed but rather enhanced by the smoky sweet taste of the Aren. I'll be thinking about this latte for a while. Indonesian beef rissole: Batter-like skin rolled in breadcrumbs filled with savory ground halal beef & sautéed vegetables While I've never had this dish before, I googled pictures of what it should look like, and mine seemed to have significantly less meat than it should've. The taste was still delicious and seasoned and hearty, but it was mostly mush with some veggies and hardly any beef. While I thought the rissole was disappointing, I love the aren latte so much I'll still keep the 5 star review.

It was creamy, earthy, and let the matcha shine. If you like your matcha a little sweeter, I'd recommend adding their in-house pistachio syrup. The only small downside was that it seemed like they use matcha concentrate that's prepared in advance rather than whisking each drink fresh.
