We ordered the chocolate chip walnut and pistachio raspberry cookie! I'd say the chocolate chip was a 9/10 and the pistachio a 8/10. Levain cookies are dense enough to be cakey but still manage to retain a soft, buttery texture. I'll give them credit for texture, but for me, the flavor is overshadowed by the excessive sweetness. There can sometimes be a long line but when I went a bit after lunch, there were 2-3 people in front of me and the cashiers work fast. There's places to sit inside the bakery, though limited. I've had the regular chocolate chip cookie before too and it was delicious. If you're a big chocolate person, I would recommend the dark chocolate chip. My favorite have been the lemon one they had during spring and the Rocky Road they have during summer. They're chunky, crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside, without feeling undercooked. Also, adding the ice cream to them goes really well! ( my kid had that, but unfortunately I don't have a picture of it. It was great. They're moist and chewy, I love them. Unlike other cookies, these actually are flavorful, not just loaded with sugar. Also noteworthy, the quality is great regardless of where you get them. Prices a bit on the higher side but the cookies are fairly large. The one thing that was a bit frustrating was how long it took to be served. There was a line, but only about 6 people in front of me, and it took about half an hour to get a single cookie. The staff was friendly, but it seemed they were prioritizing online pickup orders and thus ignoring the line, they would take one order, then go and take a while to pack everything, and then serve. Everything was ready and on racks, just seemed that it was a combination of not having enough staff/thier priorities that caused these delays, which was quite frustrating. Driving in an uber and while we were in traffic were stopped next to this little store. It was cute and the food was delicious. The breads looked freshly made but since we were visiting we only tried some of the cookies.
