You can immediately tell it's made in-house -- incredibly fresh, with a subtle hint of lime. Easily one of the best hibiscus teas I've had, and far better than the powdered versions many places use. We also started with a Modelo (canned), crudo shrimp (2 pieces), Japanese peanuts, chamoy, and a sauce at the bottom of the plate that was unbelievably good -- likely one of their ceviche sauces. I ordered the Ceviche La Mamona, which included tender octopus, melt-in-your-mouth ahi tuna, perfectly cooked shrimp, avocado, onion, cucumber, tomato, and a black sauce that tied everything together beautifully. This was, without question, the best ceviche I've ever had. I've never been to Mexico, but this is exactly how I imagine it should taste -- incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced. They also serve it with crackers, tostadas, and two creamy salsas: one habanero and one jalapeño/serrano. Honestly, the ceviche alone could have been a full meal.
