What an eclectic hidden gem this place is. Seating is limited but comfortable, call ahead. It's like relaxing in someone's house with great service friendly atmosphere and fantastic food. This evening we had the Brie and bacon flatbread followed up with a medium charcuterie board which was made to perfection. Met a couple friends and their kids here for lunch. Not too ideal for kids, but we selected a couch area that was more away from other tables and cozy. They have a nice wine list and full bar. The food menu is small, but some good selections. Two of us chose the brie and bacon flatbread, the other a half sandwich and soup. The soup was a chicken stew type and I was told it was spicy and very tasty. The flatbreads were great, a little too much lettuce and not enough bacon on mine, but very good. Our server was very nice and was the only one serving that day, although it wasn't very busy and they have only a handful of tables inside, outside seating in the summer adds several more. After branching at 42 North we didn't want Sunday Funday to end but we didn't want to hang around the brewery. After a Yelp search and a group conconsenses that some chocolate was in order we stopped in here. It was a quick walk right up the street (the hill) and around the corner. This is an adorable wine and coffee bar, it had some food options available and local chocolates for sale. The chocolatier is the (former) co-owner Chow Chocolate. Walking in, watch your step the space is small and intimate but still sunny. You can either sit at the wooden bar on the right or there are some tables along a bench on the left. In the back you'll find a larger table and the gender neutral restroom. We started by splitting a bottle of wine and some each ordering a few chocolates. I sampled the strawberry champagne and the fiery kiss (?). The strawberry champagne was like a pink powdered delight and the fiery kiss certainly made its mark but didn't leave a hickey lol. It was milk chocolate and habanero ganache I believe. You wouldn't want to eat a whole box but if you're looking for an experience give this one a try. On my way out I ordered the Canadian cold brew, a blend of ice coffee, maple syrup and possibly turmeric. It was a great treat and pick me for the drive back to Buffalo where I had some group project for ECC to work on. On my next East Aurora adventure I will be coming back here. The atmosphere here is relaxed and enjoyable so after a day of shopping or whatever it's a great spot to unwind. read more

Wine, coffee AND chocolate? These three words were the sole reason we stopped in. However, this cafe still has a lot of potential to grow- specifically in customer service. We came in on a Saturday and there were a few other customers, most were seated and already taken care. We stood awkwardly between the bar and entrance while 3 women behind the bar looked busy and didn't notice us waiting. A few minutes later, one finally asked if anyone had helped us yet. I said no, and that it was our first time here so we came in for a glass of wine and to try chocolates. She told us to sit down and they would take our drink orders and explain the chocolates. OK! So we sat down and we got pages of wines and lite dishes. This waitress (who was in ear shot of the one who greeted us) took our drink order, brought over our drinks a bit later, then never came back like she said she would. So we sat, with our wine slushie and glass of one of the few local wines, and sat, patiently waiting for the chocolates to be "explained" since they were not on the menu, but she never came back. My boyfriend then had to go up and ask them to come back to explain the chocolates. She brought over a plate and said what each one was and I picked out three. They were $2 each but delicious. When she came back again, I asked if they were new and she informed me that they've been open for three months. Here's my advice if they want their customers to return: 1. Acknowledge customers when they walk in and thank them for their business when they leave 2. The chocolates cannot be a mystery. Either include them on the menu or be sure to bring them over shortly after serving drinks, they look delicious and will sell themselves if you let them 3. Treat everyone like a guest, not just the groups of middle aged women. My boyfriend and I, and two other couples were treated coldly 4. Get organized. Everyone working was scrambling but not sure why... decide who will pay attention to customers and who will make the drinks 5. Add more local wines to the menu! I'll watch the reviews and if they get better reviews, maybe I'll consider coming back in one day. I came here tonight with my two best friends. The service wasn't bad. The waitress was pleasant and nice but I had to come in and get more water for my table. I had a chocolate martini, a lemon drop martini, and the grilled cheese sandwich. I didn't want the chips that they came with. (I can't eat them lately.) The waitress said they could add some cheeses and then came out to say that wasn't doable and apologized. A small spring of grapes was added. They have a small amount of seating inside and it's decorated nicely. We were seated near their fresh garden where they had tomatoes growing to my left and a few other things to the right of my friend. A gf and I stopped by on a whim, just to check it out and have a glass of wine. I was blown away by the food, charm, service and drinks. One of the owners actually welcomed us and walked us through the drink and food options, since it was our first time. We had the bbq chicken flatbread, which was amazing! I am gluten free and it was the best gf flatbread I've tasted. We also had the artichoke dip, which was the best that either of us have ever tasted. We liked the homey interior a lot and there was a real feeling of community in the place. Also, try the rose infused gin and tonic if they have it yet as it was simply mouthwatering.
