Ordered baked ziti with meatballs, garlic knots with sauce and a cannoli to try. Overall there is a lot of food, however sadly it's average at best. The garlic knots came without the sauce (ordered through grubhub) which wouldn't be a big deal if you weren't charged extra for the sauce. The baked ziti was ok but the sauce didn't have much flavor. It came with half a hero roll as the bread. The cannoli was packed ok but put in a bag sideways so the filling had started to come out. If you're looking for average Italian food at a pretty average price this is the place. I don't crave Italian often and this reminded me why. The delivery driver was an in-house driver and even had the nerve to ask for a tip. It has been always good pizza place at least for our family. But today, I was so surprised by how much the portion of everything reduced by at least 30% less!!! I understand everything price raised in this inflation but they should just raise price than reduce the amount of food. I am so so furious about this. Because My family is big in number. We will starve after tonights' dinner for sure. One time, maybe a half year ago my pizza did not have tomato sauce. But still went back to the place. Found this spot on my lunch break one day when my stomach was screaming for a buffalo chicken slice! Of course I obeyed my belly and this pizza did not disappoint! It was really good! Chunky pieces of spicy chicken and a decent amount of cheese..not too spicy and the texture was perfect! It was So good that I recommended it to a co-worker who wanted to order 2 large pies for the office. He got 1 whole buffalo chicken pie and 1 pie with 1/2 sausage/pepperoni and 1/2 plain! So Tuesday night I placed an order for delivery. For myself I got the Tortellini Alla Panna, I ordered a Grilled Cesar Salad wrap for lunch the next day and a rice ball and some garlic knots for my sister. Before I ordered I called my husband who was out with our son and asked them if they wanted anything and they both said no they ate already. Just as the food was delivered my husband and son come home and I didn't get any further then opening it when they both said let me try that and the two of them not only tried it but loved it! They both went and got a bowl for me to share my tortellini dish with them. I mean come on it's a generous order but not for 3 adults!! Now they are sitting at the table eating and I get up to get some water, when I come back they are in the bag and had split my wrap (so now I had no lunch for the next day) and they got into the garlic knots my sister was trying to defend from them eating. GRRRR they were like savages!!! So needless to say the food was delicious! I ordered again tonight but this time I got enough for everyone so I can eat my own dinner in peace. I thought it was something unusual for Valley Stream and the pic looked amazing. What I got...was a little disappointing. Tried Mamma Gina's since they offer a gluten free pizza in addition to the first time purchase offer from seamless for 20% off your first order. I have only had one other gluten free pizza unfortunately the crust on this one did taste like cardboard I had the feeling that they don't make it there. The toppings were fresh and delicious I ended up taking them off the pizza and just eating that with the salad I ordered. It's always interesting how these pizza places all have a different take in anti-pasta salad. It was your typical salad. My son loved his pizza ate three slices till we discovered the other side was burnt. Unfortunately for a seven year old growing up on Long Island he was disappointed as he considers himself a pizza enthusiast. He had given two thumbs up till he found it. The delivery driver was extremely friendly and offered to bring it in for me since I answered the door holding a baby. I was really taken back by his thoughtful offer as most delivery drivers just hand you the food and leave. This is why I'm giving three stars we will give them another try just to see if the burnt pizza bottom was a fluke. read more

Usually order from them all the time, I made a mistake with my Grubhub app and inputted a wrong phone number on the app, but on the delivery instructions the correct number was posted, after an hour I called and was told that the delivery man had rang the doorbell and knocked on the door, both of which were obvious lies, instead of an apology I was told to "order somewhere else" and then hung up on. I just don't understand how you serve pasta with any flavor or seasonings. For example, I ordered the baked stuffed shells. They were stuffed with ricotta - and very bland. Would not go there again. We ordered over the phone and the first sign should have been the "5 more minutes" after we'd been waiting in the resturant for at least 5 already. We had called at 7:10 and didn't leave until 8:00. Ordered the number 6 family feast- 2 medium pies (we got one 1/2 meatball 1/2 cheese and the other with sausage) each with 1 topping, 6 garlic knots and a medium soda. We also ordered an order of 6 wings. On their website the family feast is $23 and the wings are $6. Finally got the food and opened the box to check if it was correct. And I will tell you neither me or my parents have ever seen anything like this- the meatball pie literally just had whole mini meatballs on top. Not sliced or cut up at all. Just whole spherical meatballs. And when we actually ate it we could tell they were frozen/ store bought meatballs. When they rang us up to pay they told us "$43". We asked how that could be? And they said "you got toppings" they then looked back at the special and realized and said "$35" we asked "how" again and they told us because we got a soda and we told them again that the soda was apart of deal. They fixed that and told us "$31". Again we asked how and they said that the special was 25$ and the wings were 6$. After telling them that it said $23 on the website they said "no it's on our menu as $25. Whatever, we payed and left. When we got home and looked at the wings they had some sort of batter or breading on them even though we had asked on the phone before ordering if they were battered or breaded and they told us no. And the portions are half what they used to be... can't eat the food anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter. But the prices isn't half so why cut down on portions? This last order of eggplant parmigiana with rigatoni was Just Awful! The pasta is So tasteless not even the sauce has taste and the eggplant literally tastes like they half fried it, left it to drain and then took the Cold pieces and covered them in tasteless sauce. I always saw great deals for this pace in my local paper so one day a few friends and I decided to try it out. Our coupon gave us a large pizza, 2 heroes, a large salad, and garlic knots. For around 25 bucks this is a good deal and the prices in general seemed to be very reasonable; however, the price only foreshadowed the meal that was to come. The pizza practically fell apart on us when we took it out of the box with the cheese running everywhere. The salty taste that went along with it didn't sweeten the deal. The salad was very bland and nearly flavorless with iceberg lettuce and a small portion of veggies. It may be stereotypical but it often seems that pizza places no matter how good they are, don't know how to prepare a proper salad, but that's a thought to ponder on some other time. Anyway, the garlic knots were nearly inedible and loaded with grease, but luckily the one small bright spot in this meal were the chicken parm heroes which were actually kind of decent, albeit a little too chewy. We were full after the meal but the feeling in our stomachs wasn't one of satisfaction. Oh and by the way, the store banner is CLEARLY a photo-shopped image and provided a good laugh to us, but it pretty much sums up the overall quality of Mama Gina's: mediocre presentation for mediocre food. read more

So I went for lunch with my girlfriend yesterday. Service: The service was great really, when we walked in they seemed really nice, respectful and we asked if they had pasta plates and the guy gave us the menu, we then ordered 2 pasta carbonara. The server brought us the food smiling and brought the utensils. They were also playing a funny moments tv program which was a nice way to eat while entertaining. Food: The food came really fast, we didn't have to wait so much, which is very important.The plate was huge! and they also brought bread, it was absolutely delicious, I posted a pic on Instagram and everyone wanted to know about the place! Regular pie is great and never disappoints. I tried the chicken bacon ranch recently and some of the chicken still had bones in it.
