Wow! One of the best slices I've ever had in NYC! I was blown away! I unfortunately didn't get to take a picture of the pies but at least I got a pic of two slices! It was so good that I even ate my 3rd slice cold! I never eat pizza cold so that's how you know it was good lol I would def like to come back here if I'm ever in North Valley Stream!

A taste of the Cheese Pizza!

From the moment I walked in, I knew it was going to be a great experience. This place is exactly what you want when you go for a ny slice! Crispy, flavorful, and fresh! Eddie is a wonderful person and excellent cook! You can taste the pride he puts in making the best quality food! Near the back, there is plenty of seating if you decide to eat in! 10/10, highly recommend!

Classic old style NYC pizza, what's not to love? 2 gold medal slices and a can of soda for $6.50, plus Eddie threw me a free shirt. Love this guy. Love this place. Great energy and ambiance. I'll be back for certain.

Great Pizza!! Reminds me of the pizza I grew up with in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Perfect Cheese to Sauce to Crust ratio and the same every time. Plus, Eddie is the nicest guy in the world. If you want the best pizza on Long Island, look no further.

Walking into Eddie's, it's like walking into an 80's time capsule. Great ny style pizza amongst other things, nice & crispy and very tasty. Looking forward to returning and trying different things on the menu. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced and Eddie is such a friendly welcoming guy.

With that out of the way, let's get to what I got at this pizzeria. Since I had just come from Dario's, I decided that one slice would be good to get a feel of what KU offers. First off, the ambiance and look of the pizzeria is my favorite of the trifecta and the customer service is fantastic. I got the white slice and on the whole, it was heated to perfection, had a wonderful balance of mozzarella, ricotta and basil. Anywho, the taste of the slice was fantastic and I think this outclasses Umberto's and Da Angelo's white pies by a long shot. The display case had a great selection of wonderfully made pizza and other items for takeout. If you come here, you need to try their grandma pie as that it's claim to fame (I wish I could have it, but damn gastritis! ) I met Giovanni, one of the owners and he was friendly and loves having conversations with his customers and hope to meet him again. This has easily become one of my top favorite pizzerias on Long Island and will make the trek again, this time with my family in tow. Cheers!

I've driven by Tandoori Pizza many times and was always curious to try them. I had the opportunity to finally try Tandoori Pizza since I was at an event at another establishment down the block. I did takeout, and ordered the following: -- Archari Chicken Pizza w.extra garlic sauce (14" large pie for $31.80 with tax): Anchari chicken is typically very spicy, which I was looking forward to. The chicken was barely spicy and extremely dry. I had asked for extra garlic sauce (+ 50¢) in the pizza but I'm not sure if they actually put extra sauce, since it was so dry. Also, the dough reminded me of Dominos crust; very doughy and not very crusty. The toppings were skimpy and the pizza was mostly doughy bread. -- Lamb Kebab Pizza (14" large pie for $31.30 with tax): the dough was the same as the Achari Pizza; doughy and dry. The flavors of this pizza were stronger than the Achari, but the crumbled lamb was extremely overcooked, making it...you guessed it...very dry. Also, We found the price of these pizzas extremely high, given the skimpy amount of toppings and the size of the pizza. $31+ for a 14" pie with skimpy dry toppings and dry doughy crust is unwarranted. I don't know. Everyone else has rated Tandoor Pizza very high, so maybe it's just us who didn't like them. Or...maybe you have to douce the pizza in Ranch Sauce like everyone else?!?! I personally don't like Ranch Sauce on my pizza so that a big no thanks for me. Sorry! I still love Indian Pizza in general, and will continue to enjoy it, but at other places. I'm glad I finally got to try Tandoori Pizza though... curiosity satisfied! On a positive note, the staff is very friendly, polite and welcoming! Also, they offer discounts if you order online (not in person). So order ahead and save a few bucks!

I'm driving back from Maryland and I planned to stop at Via Cuma for lunch…read more I understand Via Cuma is a not by the slice pizza shop, it's more authentic with a personal size pizza. I parked across the street (make sure you feed the parking meter) and walked inside. I'm assuming it was the owner, I said I'm so hungry and was asked to grab any open table. The restaurant is cozy with multiple tables which can be adjusted to fit a large or small party. The owner comes over with an iPad, I just want a glass of wine with lunch. No bueno, I don't think they have a liquor license. I ordered a coke instead. This word is tripping me up, I know it's devilish, Diavola? I make the sign of the cross as I order this pizza. The owner explains this is his favorite pizza, I can see why. The Diavola Pizza is made with San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Hot Soppressata Salame from Calabria and topped with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese along with a drizzle of Olive Oil. This is a pizza that's more heavenly than devilish. There's some heat coming from various ingredients but it's welcomed. The sourdough is something that's interesting, I had this dough in Syosset last week. Is this a new trend? It brought the pizza to another level, there's more complexity with the imported ingredients. I also appreciated the cheese, I should have asked if it was made in-house.
