Went for a take out. Got this sad slice of tasteless pizza. Not worth it. Avoid it by all means.

This is the page in the Grubhub app that provided the phone number.

A friend told me that I could order from this place through an app, but that I should call to ensure I got the BOGO offer. So I went to GrubHub and called the number provided there. It took 10 minutes to complete the order of 3 cheese pizzas for a later delivery. The store delivered the meal 35 minutes late, argued that we didn't qualify for the BOGO (because we didn't call, which we did!) and when the delivery guy finally arrived, he was so rude, lecturing us on how we didn't deserve the deal and we shouldn't be getting the 6 pizzas (who cares if he was late for an order made 3 (!!!) hours before the requested delivery time. Mamma Lucia, we love your pizza but not enough to withstand such despicable customer service. Work your issues out with GrubHub or internally, without compromising on the decency to treat your customers like you should. Maybe you'll make it up to us and we can try again.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at this location. Donna was absolutely amazing! As soon as we stepped in the door we were greet. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I had the chicken Parmesan and my daughter had the chicken Alfredo and added shrimp. They also have a variety of pizza readily available to pop in the pizza oven. There's also outside seating available. We will definitely return again!

I was craving kebab and this unfortunately did not hit the spot for me. We got lamb and chicken kebab combo (#5) and ghormeh sabzi. The meats were bland and very dry. Usually when I order lamb kebab I expect full of flavor and juicy, but this lamb was TOUGH like I had to really chew and there was no flavor. Ghormeh was bland too and not that many cubes of beef. Pita bread and rice were both good. The staff were friendly but not really helpful...we asked what ghormeh was and he just said it's "beef." I would say gourmet bazaar (Rockville) is much better.

The entree was a bit of a cafeteria style thing, but it fit the bill; the menu says it offers not only tofu but some red kidney beans in a stew of greens with lime flavor, and while I can't think of any similar combination I've had in all my travels, it works. The yogurt they offer on the side is a Persian staple, but what really shined was the fresh bread whose odor wafted through my vehicle as I drove my takeout elsewhere. A delightfully thin and browned creation, it was 100% worth adding despite the fact that they already gave me a massive pile of rice (with a bit of saffron rice on top of the plain white rice). This isn't high-end cuisine, but they delivered distinctive flavors in a timely and convenient fashion, and with a good range of vegetarian choices. Of their other locations in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, some of them offer these stews with tofu mixed in and some do not, though falafel and a few other options remain available.

Going in, I knew the restaurant was gorgeous but pictures don't do A.B. justice. As soon as you enter, you see the semi-circle velvet seating, the intimate booths and this amazing bar display. I immediately had a snap a picture! Early as usual, I started off at the bar where they have a nice HH menu. I tried one of the recommended cocktails that was very good. The calamari was BANGIN! My friend schooled me and said it was tempura style which was why it tasted so good. Well, other restaurants need to take notes.. For real! Once we were done at the bar, the lovely hostess led us to our booth for dinner. We kept it simple, I had the Delmonico Ribeye sliced and she had the Branzino. She's a hard critic, much harder than me and she had to admit, both meals were BOMB!! Prepared perfectly, we both agreed.. We'll be BACK! Acqua Bistecca is a hidden jewel in upper upper NW Washington, DC, in a small newer living/shopping area with garage parking just footsteps away. If you're looking for a new slick spot to dine with a dope atmosphere, this is absolutely the place to be!!
