Any supervisors above him reading this PLEASE take care of this guy! He is all positive, always doing his best. Dont let a man like this break down! He helped me when no other towing service would. When he arrived he asked if i was cold and i said yes and told me to hop inside the tow truck and warm up cause he had the heater on, told me to make myself at home. I'm no stranger to dealing with sleazeball tow companies, & this one is no exception. Make sure there is nothing of value in your car when they tow it, because things will mysteriously disappear. Also, make sure you document the condition of your car before they take it. Dents & scratches will mysteriously appear, & nobody will know anything about it. Poor service! They were dispatched by my insurance company. They only communicated with me to get payment for excess miles since insurance only covered 15 miles. They never showed up, I waited an hour and a half . I called my insurance company and they tried calling Manmoth Towing and they never answered. My insurance dispatched another tow company. My MBZ was locked up tight due to sort sort of problem in the ignition, according to MBZ. The serve advisor said, "have to towed in on a flat bed truck, but tell 'em to be careful!!!". He were right. Ans to make matters worse, the rear wheels were locked and the steering wheel was locked with the front wheels pointed towards the curb. Plus the transmission was locked in park. How would this car ever get onto the back of Mammoth Towing's flat bed truck? I watched as driver Eric did magic,;a series of steps that took him over an hour. The best part, there was no damage at all to the (2nd) love of my life, my primo 1998 SL500. Yeah, it's busted temporarily, but it's still as beautiful! as ever. Great towing service! My dad and I blew out an axle leaf spring a couple of days ago on our way to pine-top and mammoth towing rescued us in less than 30 minutes from the road. They amazingly Figured out a towing configuration for the rv and limped it back to their repair shop. Picked it up this morning and we are on our way again. Me and my wife were prospecting land and had our vw jetta stuck in the wash. Needed a recovery the local police recommended these guys. Officer wrote a note how to get there. According to Google maps it should have taken 37 minutes and 19 miles . Driver used alternative route that was 43 minutes 24 miles. I talked to dispatcher Jose and over the phone he estimates easy pull and service to be about $125. I was fine with that estimate . Once vehicle recovered. Driver did not have service and asked us to follow him to Oracle which added another 30 minutes and 10 miles . When I was ready to checkout i got a whopping $550 recovery bill. I asked to clarify and get dispatcher then owner. Owner did not listen to me. Told me that is was 2 hours at $225 an hour plus mileage end of story. I tried to reason with him that technically service ended when I was pulled and no longer needed the driver . But needed to follow him to Oracle where he had cell service network. Instead he was threatening me changing more hours since I was holding up the driver on the clock and pound my car for non payment . That was a dick move . I was willing to reason and pay for the services actually earned way over the $125 estimate and an extra hour + mileage at 5 dollars a mile . I can not say enough nice things about this company. My motor home needed a start and my insurance company was the one to send this company to me. The first thing I noticed was the condition of their tow truck. Clean and tidy, They called almost immediately after Geico called them; Then out jumps a very very nice young man. Sorry I did not remember his name but I will be calling the company tomorrow to tell them how impressed I was with the overall service. For whatever reason my Sprinter just could not be jump started. He tried EVERytHING including taking the cover off the floorboard to get to the actual battery ( sprinters have a weird jump port under the hood) he spent over an hour and a half trying to get it to start. At one point I was ready to give up and get it towed to a shop and he said "ma'am we pride ourselves in not leaving someone with a disabled vehicle. I will keep trying. ". Then had another truck come and they hooked up both trucks and it started !!!!!! I have found that customer service these days is hit and miss and this was an absolute HIT!!! I will never use another company even if it means I pay out of pocket. I highly recommend this company. NEVER USE MAMMOTH TOWING AND RECOVERY. THEY WILL TAKE ALL YOUR MONEY! Mammoth towing and recovery gave me the worst towing experience out of any company I have ever used. They charged us $150 to take the title of our car. We had to pay to give up our car because they screwed us over and put us in a position to where we couldn't even afford to get the car back. The tow driver and his helper were really nice, but the owner named Larry is an ass!! He kept telling them I had to pay for the towing, and I refused because the dealer/motor company was paying. I felt bad for the driver and his helper. I waited for 4 hours and 15 minutes. Was a lil hesitant due to the fact they are located in Mammoth,AZ but was shocked how fast they arrived hooked up my Tahoe and were gone literally an hour from the time I called till they pulled away.. These were the most unprofessional guys I've dealt with before. When the driver was explaining to me how they worked he was being very aggressive and was trying to pressure me into getting my car towed. Saying that the police officer said he HAD to tow it when the police officer directly told me that I shouldn't listen to him and that wasn't the case. Then the driver told me I was able to see my car at anytime and get whatever I wanted out of the car so when I went to call and said u wanted to see my car I had to make an appointment which conflicted with my work but eventually they allowed me to see my car hit I could not take my speakers or radio which I had never heard of. Overall this company was not very professional at all. They lied about multiple things and the driver was very aggressive and just wanted to start an argument with me which was in called for when I'm just trying to make sense of why I can't just take my car to my house instead of the awful yard they have. read more

Larry's brand new flatbed handled my 6000 lb camper van without a sweat. My wife and I had just picked up our just purchased rv and were driving east on I10 a mile from Bowie when we had a right front tire blowout that severly damaged the under carriage in and around the tire. My insurance, Geico had first contracted with Mobile Maintenance in Tucson to pick up our 32 ft rv, but after over 2 and a half hours in the dark on the side of the freeway still no tow truck. Geico wanted to know if Mobile had arrived. When I answered no they contracted with Mammoth towing in Tucson to pick up our rv. Now we were on the side of I10 and had to wait another hour and a half for Mammoth to show up, but I expected that due to the fact they were coming from Tucson. The tow truck driver communicated with us his status, and said to not wait any longer because it wasn't safe. We left the rv and the driver let me know when they were there and when he was heading back to Tucson. The mammoth driver was kind and very professional and would highly recommend Mammoth for any roadside problems you may have. I greatly appreciate them!! read more

I was driving a relative's van on a visit to Tucson. It wouldn't start while I was out and about and I called Nationwide Insurance to send a tow truck. I use their roadside assistance plan. They sent Mammoth Towing. The truck was like new and had big logos on it so it was easy to spot. He got there really fast, in about 30 minutes. Don't count on that because it depends on how busy they are. The driver is a nice guy too. He did it right and our van got to the repair shop in great shape. read more

My car broke down between Mammoth and Tucson last July. My insurance company sent out Mammoth Towing. If I ever break down again in that vicinity I have kept their card and would certainly request them. The driver Tyler was very professional, friendly and considerate and had the car loaded on in no time. It was Friday end of the day but luckily were able to get the car dropped off before the automotive repair shop closed. After we dropped the car off Tyler ran me over to the McDonalds since I was going to have over an hour wait for my sister to come and pick me up. This was the best experience I have had with a towing company. My previous experiences have included long wait times and drivers who don't always seem be able to quickly hook up a vehicle.
