We love coming here. Especially for the breakfast food. Yummy buffet. Super impressed with the fresh fruit section. Only 1 negative is the hashbrowns are soggy. Not much Crispiness to them.

We enjoyed our breakfast at Mammy's. It's in a great location in Myrtle Beach. We were able to walk from our resort. They had a cute and simple breakfast buffet which allowed us to quickly eat and transition back to vacation mode. They had healthy options to more hearty options on the menu including all the traditional items you'd expect. The price was good for the options as well. The service team were friendly and attentive. I'd recommend to check them out if you're looking for a hearty, fast casual breakfast option.

A biscuit with gravy, sausage links and patties, some yummy scrambled eggs and 2 bacon. Great quality

The best breakfast location on the grand strand. The buffet is always stock with fresh items small batches and I think that is why it is such a great value for the money. The eggs are light and fluffy and the homemade biscuits are spot on. I highly recommend this place after multiple visits it continues to be consistent and the service by all the staff is just outstanding! Even the cooks welcome you while fulling the Buffet with frequent fresh small batches.

I've been coming to Myrtle Beach since I was kid in the 70's and 80's and my family never ate breakfast at Mammy's ! When I got older and moved away from the east coast I still came home to the Carolinas every 2 to 3 years and still I had heard about this place and how you would sometimes have to wait in line outside for it. Well , that is something I don't care to do. But anyway , I finally came here on September 21st and it was well worth it and I didn't have to wait in line. When I was leaving though there were a few people waiting outside to get in , so I guess I had good timing. I was seated right away and ordered coffee. The buffet line was filled with a pretty good selection. The first thing you see is fresh fruit and let me tell you , you have to get the Strawberries. They were so good and fresh. I live in Las Vegas and we get those California Strawberries and they don't have half the flavor these did , must be all the GMO. I also got a slice of Cantaloupe , a slice of Pear , and a slice of Peach. Now to the main items. I got Grits , Biscuit and Gravy , Sausage Patty and Sausage Link , Scrambled Eggs with Peppers , Corn Beef Hash , and the Strawberries the first plate. The Grits were thick and good like I like them. The Scrambled Eggs were good. I liked the Sausage Patty better than the Sausage Link. The Corn Beef Hash I didn't care for. Biscuit and Gravy was good , but mine are better of course. The Strawberries as I said were great and I got more on my second plate. On my 2nd plate I tried a Pancake with Strawberry Syrup with pieces of Strawberry in it and more Grits and some fruit. The Pancakes were pretty good and fluffy. The price is really reasonable and that is why it's probably been in business so long. From my understanding they been in business since 1953 and I'm sure they will be here many years to come.

My hubby likes his pancakes burnt. Haha

This place has been here serving the area since 1953. Definitely looks like an ole style diner outside but they have kept up the inside. Food is simple, yet good. We order our eggs over-medium well. This is not easy for most places but they got it perfect! There was also a buffet available but we opted for ordering simple. Otherwise we would have eaten too much. Hahaha. Coffee was great our server was thorough and kept our glass, mugs full. We wanted to go again but the next day line was around the corner. We will definitely be back. Purchased a couple t-shirts as gifts.

I had the Steak and Eggs with hash browns. The steak and eggs were pretty good but the hash browns were cold as if they were precooked.

For the price @7.50 you can't beat it. I thought the food was pretty good. We come here to eat every year we come to Myrtle Beach.

I was hoping for a place like the scene in Pulp Fiction.... but it's more like a Shoney's with slightly more character.

The breakfast Buffett has a good selection. The buffet area is dirty and the food is not fresh.

We were down on vacation back in May. My husband is a huge breakfast guy. Every other place we had tried before was outrageously pricey or just not good. Joes Diner is budget friendly and everything we had was great. We had breakfast from the menu one day, ate from the breakfast bar on the weekend, and tried lunch on our way out of town. All the food and service was 5 star. There is something for everyone and the prices are great. My husband hasn't stopped talking about going back, we will be back down next month in August. It was a very good amount of food on both our dishes by the way. I had Chicken Fried Steak with well fried eggs and they were PERFECT to a gel consistency which I like! It came with a warm Biscuit and I opted for the Hash Brown Patties! We would recommend this cute place with reasonable prices!!

She was pleasant and patient, considering we had three teenagers at the table with one of them ordering like 5-6 sodas (to my dismay and horror lmao). She joked she should get one of our kids a pitcher. We had the fried chicken, the fried pork chop, chicken dumplings, and the BBQ ribs. Our favorite were the ribs. The sides were a hit. We got the fried okra, the mashed potatoes, the mac and cheese, green beans and fries. For the additional side it is $2.99 a person. Honestly, I felt the sides were so tasty & better than some of the meat dishes. The fried pork chop and the chicken and dumplings were not a hit at our table, but we did devour the fried chicken and get an extra order of ribs. We had no idea that this was a bottomless refill, but I don't know how anyone orders more than one extra entree because the portions are huge and quite filling. We were lucky to get a table close to the window so we could have a nice view. All of the workers were courteous & kind. If you are super hungry & have a larger party, you have to come here at least once, while visiting Broadway at the Beach. They also brought out biscuits to our table while waiting for our food, and those are hefty and warm. Hooray for another good Southern eatery during our visit to Myrtle Beach.
