They ruined my child's birthday!!! The ordering process was frustrating right from the beginning with Anna. After sending my inspiration photo, I waited days without any response or communication. I had to follow up myself, which immediately made me uneasy about placing such an important order for my son's birthday. Unfortunately, the final product was nothing like the inspiration picture I provided. The Hot Wheels cake was missing key design elements, including important pieces of the ramp and the flames that made the theme come to life. The decorations that were included looked rushed and unfinished. The fondant work was sloppy--the number for my son's age and the letters of his name were uneven and not even the same size. Mind you they had this order on file for over two weeks with collecting full payment up front! To make matters worse, the cake was insanely overpriced for what was delivered. The taste was just as disappointing as the appearance. The vanilla cake was so dry , more like an angel pound cake than a moist birthday cake. The chocolate buttercream tasted old and had a hard texture that was unpleasant to eat. I was honestly so upset that I took a moment to cry before my son's party because I had envisioned something special for him, and what I received was such a letdown to the most important piece of the party! Additionally, the serving size advertised was completely inaccurate. There is absolutely no way this cake would feed 8-10 people unless everyone received the tiniest sliver imaginable. Realistically, it would feed about 6 people at most. Overall, this entire experience--from the lack of communication to the poor execution, disappointing taste, and inflated price--was a huge disappointment.
