Looks nice; but disappointing to eat, crust was hard & dry. Not enough sauce +/or cheese used! Delivery guy didn't have keep warm bag.

Sorry to report their delivery this time was very underwhelming. Crust was too dry, meaning not enough sauce and cheese were used to make it! Oh well, lesson learned. Won't be ordering here again!!

If you're in Brooklyn and love pizza, do yourself a favor and head straight to Mancini's Pizza. I was in town for a week and found myself here five out of seven days--that should tell you everything you need to know. The service? Top-notch. The staff are warm, welcoming, and make you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in. It's that perfect mix of neighborhood spot with genuine hospitality, which makes every visit even better. Now let's talk about the pizza... because WOW. The classics are done right--crispy yet foldable crust, perfectly balanced sauce, and gooey cheese that makes you close your eyes on the first bite. But Mancini's shines with variety, too. I rotated through the white pizza, chicken parm pizza, upside-down Sicilian, pepperoni, and chicken bacon ranch, and honestly, each one had me saying "this is my favorite" until I tried the next. Flavorful, satisfying, and crafted with care--you can taste the love in every slice. The space itself is clean, bright, and inviting, with plenty of seating that makes it ideal for families, groups of friends, or even a solo pizza pilgrimage (which I may or may not have done ). In a city where pizza competition is fierce, Mancini's stands out not just for their food but for the heart they put into it. Safe to say, I'll be back on my next Brooklyn trip--and probably eating here five days again!

Went here after work to get a slice and was very impressed. The ambience of the place is spacious and has a feel of a real Italian pizzeria mixed with a rustic homey feel. A fish tank and nice vintage looking decor on the wall. The service was friendly and attentive. The gentleman behind the counter explained what was in each pie I asked about. I got my 2 slices within 5 min and the price was very fair for the quality you get. I got a grandmas slice and a white slice. The Dough was perfectly crunchy with a great taste and the pizzas were very cheesy and fresh full of flavor. I paid $9 total for 2 authentic fresh gourmet style slices. Definitely highly recommended.

This was the best pizza we had during our trip to NYC! We hit all the tourist spots in Manhattan, went to several "viral" places on TikTok but after a night in Brooklyn this was the best! The service was also amazing, my friend mentioned she wanted a coffee and one of the employees brewed her a fresh pot..us being in the service industry told her she didn't have to do that but she said "why would I not brew it for you? " I felt like I was home but also got a true New York neighborhood experience.

Came here on a Wednesday evening for a quick dinner. The customer service at this location is absolutely amazing super friendly and they can make you whatever you want. We sat down by the window and our order was brought out fresh and piping hot. We started with a Margherita and a vodka slice, followed by Buffalo chicken. All were yummy and the vodka was my particular favorite with ample amounts of sauce and a nice cheese pull. The Buffalo chicken had a nice kick to it and all three pizzas had a yummy light crunchy crust. We ordered a Philly cheesesteak hero to share, and this was a bit too cheesy for my liking. At this point we were stuffed and took leftovers wrapped to go. Overall amazing spot and very fresh will definitely be back.

Doesn't matter what you order, the food is always amazing & so is the service. Very accommodating. It can be expensive, but they typically make up for it by giving you large portions or decent sized pieces of bread, etc... I moved to Bay Ridge 2 years ago & was ordering from different pizza spots in the area because I didn't know where to get good pizza from; but once I got put-on to Mancini's, I have never ordered from another spot again. Great food besides pizza

I have been to Mancini's a few times since it is one of my favorite places to grab pizza in Brooklyn - it has the perfect crisp to it and the sauce is nice and sweet. I ordered the grandma slice and a pepperoni roll (pinwheel) this time around. Service is really kind and attentive - they brought the food over to our table and cut up our pepperoni roll so it was easier to share and dip into marinara sauce. I saw they have a huge selection of gelato now, which is the perfect! Must try it when I come back. :)

I love a business that stands by their product shortly after my review the owner Frank reached out to me and did apologize for my bad experience was adamant on making it up. He sent over two pies the next day and they were great. Perfectly well done, great flavor, and taste. Both pies were delicious but the winner by a small margin was the original pie. They have definitely won my continued business going forward and I will be ordering from here again. 4.5 stars

Still the BEST cheese slice in Brooklyn- delicious! This time I tried buffalo chicken slice and chicken parm. The buffalo sauce was very hot! I normally eat mild wings, so it was quite an experience. The customer service is outstanding. Even the customers were friendly waiting at the counter. They were recommending their favorite slices. Mancini's is not just a pizza place/ it has a full menu with entrees, appetizers, salads. The decor is beautiful

It is definitely the best pizza in the US; I say this even after visiting Frank Pepe and Sally's in New Haven, and it's honestly not even close. On our last day before heading back to SF, we ordered a massive whole pie: half burrata, half pepperoni. It nailed the classic NYC slice with a thin, crisp crust and the perfect balance of cheese and sauce. It was so good that my daughter finished her burrata half over three separate sittings: at the shop, on the plane, and once she got home. The pie just kept calling to her! Be prepared for long lines, but it is worth it (and the Brooklyn location definitely has shorter lines than the Manhattan spots). It's not really a sit-down place, so you just have to grab a spot at the bar-top tables if you can find room. The service was good and fast. The cashier who took our order was amazing--absolutely love her--though she did forget to hand us our chocolate Bombolone. Situated at the corner of East 15th Street and Avenue J, the establishment was owned and managed by Domenico DeMarco (1936-2022), but now his family continues that legacy. Food critics and bloggers frequently rank it among the top pizzerias in New York City. Di Fara has received numerous accolades, including being named the "Best pizza in New York" by publications such as New York and Serious Eats. The New York Times described the restaurant as "one of the most acclaimed and sought-after pizza shops in New York City." In 2011, Zagat ranked it as the top pizza restaurant in the city, and in 2013, Frommer's called its pizza "the Best Hand-Made Pizza in New York City." Chef Anthony Bourdain also expressed admiration for the restaurant's pizza. I had long hoped to visit Di Fara, so I decided to make a trip from Connecticut. Upon entering, my son and I observed that it was quite busy. There is also a window for ordering, but we chose to go inside to order our food to experience the atmosphere fully. We each ordered a freshly prepared Sicilian slice. Unlike some places, there was no pre-made pizza on display. Each slice is made to order, and it takes about twenty-five minutes to prepare. When we received our pizza, it was notably greasy. The Sicilian slices resembled a full meal, topped with garlic and pepperoni. The garlic was quite prominent and flavorful, adding a nice punch which I liked. The pepperoni was crispy, and the undercarriage had a nice crunch, though it was also quite oily. In my personal opinion, it wasn't the best slice I've ever tasted. However, I understand that when the owner, Dom, was alive, the pizza was considered exceptional by many. I would rate it around 3.5 stars, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to experience pizza from one of New York's most iconic establishments.

I tried looking up this pizza from Target Richfield for a review, but it sent me to the NYC location, so forgive me if this review is in the wrong thread. Anyway, wow. I've been to New York City and ate at the original Joe's Pizza. What an epic slice of pizza. Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

Fresh mozzarella, a nicely thin crisped crust, sweet tomato sauce, and fresh basil makes this simple pizza taste great. The fried calamari also impressed. It tasted notably fresh--light, clean, and not overly chewy like pre-frozen versions can sometimes be. While I can't say for certain, it had that just-prepared quality that makes a difference. The Caprese salad was a great way to start the meal, with fresh tomatoes, creamy burrata, and a balsamic drizzle was a nice light start. The atmosphere leans old-school Italian, which adds to the charm and character. Service was fine--nothing remarkable, but no major issues either. That said, my overall rating takes a big hit solely for the restaurants ridiculous tipping policy choices rather than the food itself. The automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill was frustrating. The menu does indicate that 18%, will automatically apply, or will be 20% for parties of six or more. We were only three people, so it felt inconsistent and unnecessary. On top of that, the added cost for credit card usage didn't help. I don't mind tipping for good service! In fact, I tip well--but I prefer having the choice and I'm old school so it's the principle of the matter. Being forced into it, takes away from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Bottom line: the food is strong and worth trying, but the billing practices leave a bad taste. If those were adjusted, this could easily be a higher-rated experience.
