Doebs has become my favorite slice of pizza I've ever had. The lunch combo is amazing value and hits the spot perfectly. The slice itself is airy and crisp. Very nice cheese pull from the first bite and not excessively oily. Perfectly topped with marinara more sauce that brings a beautiful balance to such a simple dish. The service here is 10/10. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the staff members and made to feel as if I was a regular. They explained the specials clearly and friendly and enticed me to get the lunch special which is well worth it. The vibe in the restaurant is similar to being in your own living room surrounded by friends and family. I ate by myself but I didn't feel alone in the restaurant. Everyone was talking and having a good time the music in the background was nice and you can hear genuine laughs coming from the kitchen. It's always nice to see happy staff members making delicious food. I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to return to Michigan but if I do this is a must hit spot. It just wasn't special. The ingredients all seemed tasty enough. The crust wasn't my favorite, but I didn't dislike it either. I brought some home and I liked it even less cold.
