We loved the pulled pork grinders - today not so much The pork was in big chunks, the pork has always been mixed with BBQ sauce and today there was a very little bbq sauce (I had to add more) and also very little pork on the sandwich. I can't tell you how disappointed we were. We loved this. There has been a change of employees and I sure hope they change the way this is being made. It was not good at all. 10 minute wait before my order was taken - no one else in line, two people behind the counter. another 15 minutes to make the sandwich, and when I got to the car with it, found that the bread was burnt, the cheese was MIA and the ham for the ham and cheese was one super thin slice that didn't even cover the bread. Very surprised! I was expecting "gas station" food after, reading the reviews but was pleasantly surprised! The food was very tasty, I ordered pasta, and a salad. The salad was very delicious and fresh. (Usually in the winter lettuce isn't as fresh). One of the best side salads I've ever had! The service was very good. It took a bit longer then I was expecting but the food was all homemade (they have an open kitchen, to watch made the food). It was twenty dollars for two pastas (each serving 2-3 people), and two salads (each serving 1-2 people). Last minute choice, but I have always loved the Mancino's Italian Combo. I read some of the reviews and the only real reason I saw for low ratings was because of the speed of getting ones order. I called in my order and was told it would be 10 to 15 minutes on a Friday at lunch time. I thought that was a fair as I had just watched 4 crew vehicles pull in before me with about 15 guys ordering. I went in for my order at 10 minutes and it was already waiting for me. Best pizza we've found in South Haven MI. Totally unexpected! We've been to several restaurants in tbe area for their pizza and something was always lacking‍. Mancinos is part of a gas station/car wash! The building houses Mancinos pizza & grinders. They have salads & appetizers too. We've told numerous people about it and after trying it-agree! Its a darn good pizza! Just plan on having it for take-out or delivery, I think theres only 2-3 tables. read more

Just ordered up a steak sandwich from the South Haven Mancinos. While the staff was friendly, my sandwich was just about inedible. What little meat on the sandwich was tough dried out and overcooked. Very little cheese. This location doesn't live up to Mancinos reputation. A very big disappointment. read more

If you want your order correct in under three attempts look elsewhere. I've ordered from here multiple times and it's a 50/50 if it's what you've actually ordered. They always forget your garlic butter even when you specifically ask them for it. Don't worry they offer you a 10% off your next order when they mess it up. Mind you, that you still pay full price for the one they messed up. If you are still wanting pizza after this i would recommend going home and eating pizza rolls. read more

It's not just that I ordered 2-subs, 1 calzone, 1 order of hot wings and a salad and had the worker look at me like I had just asked for a miracle. She actually told me, "Look, I'm the only one here so it's going to be awhile before I can even start this order." When I asked how long it would be, she said she'd have it done in about 30-minutes. After over an hour, I went to pay and realized the order was wrong, she offered to fix it, said it wouldn't take long. No thanks. I get home and half of it is cold. It was the same story five years or so ago when they opened, but with the two reviews on here, I thought maybe I'd give them another chance. I love the Mancinos in Mattawan. This pizza was really good. There were 10 of us who ate it and everyone liked it. They said the sauce and crust were delicious. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the toppings were kind of uneven, but it gave it a homemade look :) Also, don't be surprised by the location - it's in a gas station. We've been ordering at Mancino's in South Haven for several months now. I can't say nice enough things about this particular Mancino's. For a long time I had no interest to go in and order until one day we just wanted a change. After my first meal I was hooked. Prices are so right, the people working there (Karen and Sandy) are just awesome. (Clean, friendly and fast!) Every chance we get the first place we think of to order food is Mancino's!
