And that's exactly the problem. As most of us know, there's a serious lack of entertainment options up here, especially for people under 60. Despite the older demographic, there's still a sizable group of younger, creative, and social folks looking for something to do. Sure, you could be satisfied with a '70s rock cover band for the 100th time in the village, but if not, then Dogwood has the potential to be the go-to spot if it just puts in a bit more effort. The last event listed on your website was in 2019. The last Instagram post was over two months ago, and the one before that was for New Year's Eve. With that kind of minimal effort in promoting and programming, it's no surprise the vibe is lacking. If Dogwood committed even 50% effort to curating consistent experiences and letting people know about them, I believe it could be one of the best spots on the mountain. Come on guys, my 94-year-old grandmother could do a better marketing job than you, and she barely knows how to use the internet. If you do better, you will be better!

Since it was close to my birthday, the gave me a free pineapple dole whip as well. It tasted just like Disney's pineapple dole whip! Drinks: 4/5 We got the scorpion bowl between five people. The bowl was not very big, but the alcohol was definitely strong like most rum drinks. Next time I'm back I would probably get their other drinks instead of the fish bowl. Service: 5/5 The servers were super sweet and friendly. They were pretty busy, but very transparent and apologetic about it. The food and drink came out really quick. The tiki bar was a nice size and was very well themed. There were plenty of drink and food options. Since we were going to dinner right after, we only had an appetizer, which were the cream cheese rangoons. They were on the small side, but absolutely delicious which could be dangerous. My drink? So good. I went with the fun one, Come on Baby Light my Fire, which included dole whip! I felt like I was drinking a tasty boozy dole whip float, and the drink was quite large.
