Our first visit to the Lake Arrowhead sports grill and bar was fantastic. I was afraid to go there as I pictured multiple tvs blaring at me, and while they did have several tvs with sports on, the volume was off, and they offered to change the channel for us, so it really wasn't intrusive at all. Our waiter could not have been nicer. I wish I could remember his name. He was so kind and eager to make our visit a good one. We started with the deep fried mushrooms which were good, but a little too heavily battered for my taste. They came with 2 dipping sauces, a spicy aoli style and an Asian chili sauce (sweet). I had the grilled salmon with lemon caper sauce. It came with your choice of 2 sides. I got the fully loaded baked potato and steamed vegetables. My meal was delicious and a large serving that I could not finish. Good value at $24. My husband got the ribeye with herb roasted potatoes and a salad. The salad was large and fresh with plenty of carrots and tomatoes. The herb roasted potatoes were delicious, but I would definitely get the fully loaded baked potato again. My husband said his ribeye was delicious and cooked exactly as he asked (medium). I had a martini which was a generous pour and the bartender even hand-stuffed some olives with blue cheese for me which was really kind as the bar was quite busy. The atmosphere was great - filled with people enjoying themselves dining, talking, and laughing. Restrooms were spacious and clean. My only complaint was that the seats were hard wood. It would be nice to have cushions of some sort, but that won't stop us from coming back for the good food & drinks, and great service at lake arrowhead sports grill and bar! read more

Hubby and I came for breakfast and an AM cocktail and service and food/drink was great. Nice and clean spot. The place closes at 8pm on average (maybe a little later in the weekends), but you won't be able to watch the whole Lakers or Dodgers game. I want to comeback and try lunch but breakfast was yum. read more

I highly recommend this establishment! My husband and I had breakfast since the new owner, Eduardo and his brothers took over. We were greeted with a smile, excellent service and the food was fantastic! The ambiance is very friendly and casWe had eggs, bacon and hash browns with sour dough toast, which was cooked to perfection! But the real winner was the short stack of fluffy pancakes! The coffee was hot and my cup was never empty. I highly recommend this place, especially for a week day breakfast! We're going back on a weekend someday soon. They are open 7 days a week at 8am. Great place! Good food, good service! This is my go to stop when I'm visiting the mountains! Always have a great time! The "locals/regulars" are always welcoming! Very friendly and helpful with any questions and recommendations! Only reason for the 4 star review: the TVs could use an upgrade. More than a few are starting to fade. It makes sense because they are always on. A lot of TVs so you can pretty much count on the game you want being on! Don't let that deter you. The Sports Grille in Blue Jay has the best Bloody Mary on the mountain (shout out to Deanna!) and probably the best I've ever had. Great food as well and always good vibes. Food is good, however service is terrible. Have been there multiple times, and this has been a consistent problem. They only had 1 waitress for the entire restaurant, and it was a busy Saturday at lunchtime. She told us to sit at a table that was dirty, and it took her 10 min just to come wipe it down. We had to wait 20 min to get our drinks after that, and 30 min for her to take our order. The iced tea tastes like water, no flavor at all. She was slow to bring drink refills, and only did it when asked. Prices are also high for what it is. Will not be going back anytime soon. read more

Had lunch here yesterday after a cold morning in Arrowhead and it was great! Everyone was starving and we got right in sat down with no wait. I had the teriyaki burger which was huge and cooked perfectly to my liking. I opted for the sauce on the side so it wouldn't be as messy and then added bleu cheese crumbles. There weren't any crispy onions as advertised which left me a little bummed, but the burger was still excellent. The fries were crisp and perfectly salty. The other people in my party all really enjoyed their food - reuben dog, patty melt, american burger, and pulled pork sliders. The ranch was homemade and delicious - tasted like the ranch I used to get an old school diner in my hometown that has been closed for years so it was a special treat! Happened by chance to come across this place as we vacationed in Lake Arrowhead from San Diego. Figured we would watch the Division playoff game with the Padres vs Dodgers and grab food and beers. The staff was awesome and the owners Kirk and Karen were there to help out since they got packed on a Friday night. Food was delicious thanks to Rudy in the kitchen making the food fresh, delicious and big portions. Dave the bartender kept the drinks poured all night and even though we were in Dodger territory and we are huge Padre fans, we were made to feel very welcomed! I really love this sports bar for the food, atmosphere, various televisions playing numerous events, and the staff. The owner, Deanna, is always kind to me and is what I affectionately call a "working machine." She is consistantly busy, yet, manages to multitask and keep her customers orders completed in a timely manner. Plus, she always successfully delivers on my specialized drink order, which I appreciate. Sushi night is a favorite of mine which I have made a weekly must have. I would also like to mention that the fish and chips, burgers, pizzas, and several appetizers are stand outs as I have enjoyed them all in the past. Also, as a huge hockey fan, they are always willing to adjust a television to accommodate me. I would highly recommend this spot. I had a cheeseburger at Lake Arrowhead Sports Grille. I took one bite and the burger completely fell apart into a big mess. They put way too much thousand island dressing on both sides of the bun, then placed the slippery stuff like lettuce and tomato right next to it, essentially creating a slip and slide mess. I guess the cook has never looked up how to properly stack a burger or sandwich. You don't put slippery stuff next to the dressing. Believe it or not, there is a proper stacking order to hold the sandwich together. But I managed to get three bites and every single bite had a ton of gristle in the meat that I had to spit out. It was inedible so I sent it back and decided to just eat at home. But I did have a drink so of course, I would be paying for that. Well....they did not entirely discount my $15 burger and only gave me a measly $2.50 cent credit. So I still had to pay for that disgusting slop for the most part. My advice? Do not order a burger there. Meat is grisly and your burger will fall apart when you pick it up. read more
