Walking in, the smell of freshly made Chinese food was so good, if I hadn't been hungry when I walked in, I would have been afterward. Ordered a 2 item plate with fried rice, bbq pork and chicken with a side of veggie egg rolls. The owners are super polite and were very happy to have my business. Reminded me a lot of a Chinese place I grew up with down the road from us. The bbq pork was very good, chicken yummy and the fried rice was completely gone (a rarity for me tbh, I make my own normally) the egg rolls were really good as well. It cost me under 13 dollars for a lunch that has me feeling so full I may not need to have dinner. Will definitely be back to try the other menu items.

I get this may be a bastardized version to appeal to the general demographic in Turlock, but I was not impressed. It's what made me write my review right away, I was so shocked by the small amount I got. Chicken chow mein - this was ordered at the counter for the SO after placing my original order over the phone. When he dug into it, it was 40% bean sprouts and barely any chicken, maybe 5 or 6 small pieces... Beef chow fun - same issue of overcompensating with hella bean sprouts. The beef wasn't velveted enough and a bit tough. Taste was fine. Chili oil spilled over in my to-go bag and didn't have much spice at all. All three entrees came in the leftover to-go sized boxes, totaling almost $50 after tax and tip. I understand inflation and all, but cannot justify returning due to the negative value for the amount of food received. It's unfortunate because the service is probably some of the best for a Chinese restaurant. Super friendly over the phone and just as friendly in-person. As Gordon Ramsay would say, "Damn. What a shame."

I'm from the Bay Area and have experienced eating some very good Chinese food over the last 30 years, and sadly this is the worst "version" of "Chinese" food I have ever eaten or rather "tried" to eat. I don't even know what to call it. Not even one dish out of the four were good or edible...My son actually got sick the next morning from the Mongolian Beef, which he said had a foul taste before he swallowed his bites which he questioned and regretted eating. I would never eat here again, nor would I recommend anyone else eating there. read more

Visiting a friend in town....travelling so far away, didn't expect to have good Chinese food. It is great and more importantly WONDERFUL portion you can't believe. Would come back here again.
