The waiter was great at what he was doing is quiet and a friendly place to be to be able to talk to your friends or to even just enjoy sushi and to enjoy your day, I was just going here. This place was amazing and next time I'm in town I will definitely be stopping here or even if I'm driving by this town I'm gonna be stopping here probably one of the best sushi places I've had 10 out of 10 you won't regret going here.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to understand why. First, the prices are ridiculous, especially when you add a mandatory 20% service charge to a to-go order over $100. My wife ordered takeout, not realizing there would be a 20% service charge added. When I arrived and asked what the charge was for, I was told it was essentially a tip for the kitchen because it was a to-go order over $100. Let me get this straight: because I spent over $100 on a to-go order, I'm required to tip the kitchen for preparing the food I ordered? We didn't dine in. We weren't waited on or catered to at a table. When I asked if I could opt out of the service charge, I was told I could not. So I paid an additional $19.50 service charge just to pick up our already expensive food. Then there was the food itself. My son and I each ordered a Dragon Roll, and both were disappointing. You could clearly see that the eel was overcooked, and the rice was dry. Neither my son nor I enjoyed the roll. When you're charging these kinds of prices, the quality should match. Unfortunately, I still have another $100 voucher that I need to use. Once that's gone, so am I. As I'm writing this at 5:50 PM on a Saturday, there are only two occupied tables inside. We were there on a Thursday evening about an hour before closing, but the restaurant was packed with customers. The menu has an extensive selection of Chinese and Japanese dishes. I had the Bruce Li roll which had tempura shrimp topped with crab meat, salmon, tuna, spicy mayo and unagi sauce. I also 2 pieces of the Hamachi (yellowtail), miso soup, and spicy edamame. The fish was some of the freshest I've ever had - flavorful, definitely sushi grade, and I could tell that it also wasn't previously frozen due to the color and texture. The miso soup and the spicy edamame were well-seasoned and delicious. My nephew had a combination plate with orange chicken, broccoli beef, and chicken fried rice. One thing to note that was really nice is that the restaurant allows you to create your own combination plates, they're not set items with no substitutions. When our waitress brought my nephew's combo plate, the food looked freshly cooked and delicious! He ate every bite! Service was a bit slow with one girl running the whole restaurant, getting orders and serving. Food was good. Baked mussels is yummy but it's not a whole mussel, it's more like imitation crab mixed with minced mussels. The ratio is less on the mussel portion. Th rolls are decent. I don't eat raw but my hubby does and states it's really good quality fish! So give it a try if you like quality fish!
