We parked next door at the gas station and walked to the park. There was no parking fee or entrance fee. We made it there about 9 and there were about 5 vendors and many tables to sit and enjoy your food. There was also music playing. Slutty vegan seemed to be the only vendor with a line. When I'm talking line, I'm talking L-I-N-E!!!! As we were waiting, we ended up getting a spiked lemonade from one of the vendors and it wasn't spiked much. Lol After standing in line for 2 hours we're getting closer to the front, and then we hear "We're sold out."

Atlanta is better off for having food trucks (and this park, specifically). Despite the cloudy, on-and-off drizzly weather, the park had a good turnout of patrons between 7-9pm on a Thursday night. Thanks to those who braved the elements for our UYE (http://www.yelp.com/events/atlanta-atlanta-food-truck-park-uye). The food truck/food stand lineup was pretty good: Sweet Auburn BBQ Corn-a-Cue One Love Jerk Grill Metro City Dogs Lemonade Stand WOW! Food Truck Ibiza Bites Chay J's New Orleans Candies Rouxd Food Truck King of Pops Yum Yum Cupcake Verizon also had a stand. I've been following the park's official calendar (http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/calendar/) over the past month and noticed Thursday nights are the ideal weeknight (excluding Fridays) to go for the most trucks and the best selection. I suspect there might have been more trucks last night if it wasn't for the weather. I ended up trying a little bit of everything: Arepas (Venezuelan sliders) from WOW! Food Truck Beef brisket with Asian pear slaw taco from Sweet Auburn BBQ Goat cheese-stuffed fried green tomatoes from Ibiza Bites Creole pretzels and Creole popcorn from Chay J's I'll be posting reviews for each of those trucks in the next few days. If you come for dinner, I recommend coming on the early side as the food trucks only have a limited supply of items and do sell out. This leads some trucks to close early. I saw many menus with marked off items that had sold out for the day. Yum Yum Cupcakes shut down early because they sold out of their cupcakes for the day. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much seating the park had. I counted 16 large picnic tables in the main "dining" area, most with umbrellas. Each picnic table can seat up to about 8 people each. The picnic tables are located on a flat, paved surface. The food trucks are located in a large gravel lot. This lot has 4 communal standing tables and 2 additional picnic tables. So overall, this spot has quite a bit of seating, which is convenient. Also, plenty of trash cans and recycling bins to keep the grounds looking relatively clean. The park is family and dog-friendly. It can be a little loud because you're around all these big trucks and next to busy Howell Mill Rd. You can BYOB, so save money by bringing your own drinks. If you want water, I saw some trucks selling it for $1 per bottle. There is one restroom and it's a "Johnny on the Spot" porta-potty in the parking lot with portable sink outside so you can wash your hands. There is ample free parking behind the park. Turn onto Emery St, next to the Shell Station on Howell Mill, to find it. If you need more detailed directions, check out the park's FAQ here: http://www.atlantafoodtruckpark.com/faqs/. The parking lot is old and filled with pot holes, so drive carefully. I saw someone puncture their car's tire by running over a broken-off metal sign post on the ground (she was trying to make too tight of a turn around the dining area). Note that every Wednesday and Friday night throughout the summer, the park will be playing movies for free. Also, from time to time, there is live music. On the weekends, there's a food market with rotating vendors and an artists market coming soon. Overall, I'm very happy with the Atlanta Food Truck Park and definitely plan on returning.

Fry-lovers, unite! I…read moreenjoy fries, but happen to love someone who is a big fry lover. Like, very serious about them and how they're cooked. Me, just give me the hot fries, skip the fancy. Well, Mr. Fancy Fry-lover asked me to grab him some while I visited The Works recently and I finally had the chance to checkout WTF/What the Fry. WTF is a food stand within The Works that really stands out. Featuring a variety of potato picks such as tots, waffle fries, curly fries, etc., the carbs are on 10 here. Beyond the potatoes themselves, WTF offers a variety of seasonings and toppings to flavor up your choice. Craving more tan just fries? They've got you covered there as well with tenders, fries and more. I decided to go with the straight fries w/ cajun seasoning ++ tots w/garlic parmesan and lemon pepper. Both were freshly fried and flavored, I only wish I had taken a seat to eat more on my own before I passed them onto him, lol. And the gentleman behind the counter was ON IT. He was tossing fries in seasoning, drizzling sauce on wings, all while making jokes and helping customers at the same time. Truly a good experience, I'll be back to enjoy more potatoes in all their glory.

As an Atlanta native, I pride myself in being a wing connoisseur and I'd have to say these were very good. The sauce and flavor profile were just right and the wing size was perfect. Potato Cutter is a concession stand specializing in French fries located inside SunTrust Park…read morebehind section 138. They cut Idaho potatoes right behind the counter. They offer four kinds of fries: "house made," sweet potato, garlic, and buffalo. A regular box of fries costs $6 to $8.50 each ($5 to $7.25 each for Atlanta Braves A-List members). You can also get larger buckets of the house made or sweet potato fries for $10 a bucket ($9 for A-Listers). We got a box of garlic fries and they were delicious. They were served hot, hot, hot and fresh. The fries are the long, thin kind with the potato skin still on. The garlic fries had delectable Parmesan cheese crumbles on them. The lady sitting one seat away from me commented on how good the fries smelled as soon as we sat down. The fries were crispy when they were served to us, but got soggy by the time we got to our seats. They were still tasty and I killed them. However, I must say the grease factor was high. A nice puddle of oil was left at the bottom of the box after demolishing all the fries and the bottom layer of fries were absolutely saturated and dripping in oil. So these fries will probably kill me in the end. Oh well. It was worth it. Potato Cutter also sells corn dogs, peanuts, candy, fountain Coke products, Dasani bottled water, and draft beer. A bottle of water costs $3, souvenir cup of soda $7 ($5.25 for A-Listers), and Coors Light $10 and $5 for large and small sizes, respectively. Don't forget to check out the condiment stand in front of Potato Cutter where they have a nice variety of Wise-brand and other self-serve seasonings you can add to your fries.

The line was LONG and due to this being the first game of the year, the staff was overwhelmed, but I was very patient as I waited for my fries. I noticed a sign that read "check out our seasoning bar" which pictured a bunch of cool seasoning options. As a looked around I came to the conclusion it wasn't there. I opted for the garlic fries, which are more expensive than the regular ones. When I read other reviews they raved about the parmesan cheese which peaked my interest. When I got my fries, it just looked as if they dusted the top with garlic powder. I will say that the fries were hot! They weren't soggy at all which is a plus. I would visit again, but opt for the regular ones next time around.

If you download their mobile app, you can see which two restaurants are serving each day and their menus. Also remember to use your $2 off coupon on their mobile app! I tried 3 vendors so far in their first two weeks -- Mediterranean/Indian from Karachi Broast, Indian from NaanStop and Caribbean from Family Jerk Restaurant. The menu prices are generally under $10, and portions are good too. KARACHI BROAST - their food was really very good! Got the Mixed Platter ($9.49) which included 1 tandoori chicken kabob, 1 Mediterranean chicken kabob marinated over 24hrs in exotic herbs & spices (very flavorful & juicy!), served w/ pita bread freshly sauteed w/ butter during order time, spicy yogurt sauce, hummus and chicken biryani rice. And enough food for 2 meals. My favorite Fooda vendor so far! NAANSTOP - I usu. work from home on Fridays but I actually came to the office so I could have NaanStop! Ordered their Chicken Tikka Masala Bowl w/ Brown Rice ($6.89), and added other toppings like fresh spinach, sauteed onions & peppers, spicy cabbage slaw and corn salad. I also sampled their "coconut & mint" and "chili & cilantro" sauces ... whoa the latter was super spicy! Food was very good and portion was enough for 2 meals! FAMILY JERK RESTAURANT - ordered their Jerk Chicken which came w/ two sides ... I chose the Rice & Peas and Sauteed Cabbage ($8.49). The Jerk sauce was super spicy - I also tried their spicy BBQ which was sweet/spicy and loved it more ... although quite messy to eat! My co-workers both got the veggie burger but it was more like a veggie patty b/c it didn't come with a bun - but they said the patty was very good. Overall good food, and really nice folks. Looking forward to trying more new places in the upcoming weeks!

The only time I tried Fooda they served Ponko Chicken. The food was overpriced, even with my company's food voucher of $6 and the small portions were served luke warm. I waited in line for a good 15-20 mins as there were only 2 people working. Most of the choices were sold out besides chicken tenders. What they call a combo was comprised of a 3 tender meal with potato salad - get this the combo part was adding white rice; not even a beverage. The menus shown aren't clear, so when I asked if a drink came with the combo - the guy serving me actually laughed! SMH Never again Fooda, not even with my voucher. I rather starve or eat an old house slipper.

Pops are also sold at Centerfield Marketplace behind Section 149 as well as by staff who walk up and down the aisles during the game, carrying containers of frozen pops. We stopped by the King of Pops stand behind Section 135. Here's what they were serving: Fruit-based pops: * Frozen Lemonade * Sweet Tea & Lemonade * Raspberry Lime * Blueberry Lemonade * Strawberry Lemonade Cream-based pops: * Cookies & Cream * Strawberries & Cream * Chocolate Sea Salt We got the Strawberries & Cream and the Chocolate Sea Salt flavors. I thought both were delicious; cold and refreshing, nice and creamy, and not too sweet. We ate the pops in our seats while enjoying the game. It was quite delightful. King of Pops definitely enhances any game day experience. They should offer King of Pops at Georgia Tech football and men's basketball games. The pops cost $4 each, cash or card. Unfortunately, no discount for "A List" members (Atlanta Braves season ticket holders). $3 pops for A List members would be nice. Service was good. The lady who sold us our pops was very friendly.
