Bagels are such a staple to begin the mornings! I love Manhattan Bagel because of its convenient location from a friend's house, that you can dine in, or get your bagel to go. I always get the Nova Lox on an everything bagel. Always. Every other bagel I've tried is usually because I'm still hungry after the nova lox, but I always get the nova lox first. I've been on the hunt for a solid lox bagel, because some places can be iffy with either the lox, bagel, other veggies, et... but Manhattan bagel has consistently hit the mark with everything. Their customer service is extremely quick and very friendly. I've been here like 10 times in the last 6 months and I've never had a bad experience. I went for lunch with a friend. I did not get their breakfast or a bagel, which they are known for. Hence, this review is based on lunch. Need to know: 1. The line and ordering process was quick. 2. The menu is easy to read. 3. The restaurant was clean and the staff was wearing masks. However, there was a leak in the ceiling. (We were told it happens when it rains.) 4. The sides are really small. 5. The flavor of the sandwich was good but the ratio of meat to bread was uneven. It was bread heavy. The staff were nice and efficient. There didn't seem to be many people eating at the restaurant. I got the Manhattan cheesesteak. It had good flavor and the bread was really good too. But the ratio of meat to bread was not in the meat's favor which is a disappointment because it had really good flavor. Overall, it's an okay restaurant for lunch. However, I'll stick with breakfast food here. read more

Everyone's bagel sandwiches were pretty yummy and no one had any complaints about their food. One of the downsides was the coffee. Myself and a friend both ordered Carmel coffee but received very little Carmel flavor in one and the other was accidentally made as a mocha. The service was friendly but it did feel pretty rushed to make decisions even though there wasn't another party behind us. We usually go on the weekends in the morning for a quick bagel and coffee, so there's no rush, but they serve everything within 1-5 minutes, so you really do not wait. Spinach Egg (turkey bacon) Croissant Is my go to when I'm running late to work or have a morning shift. The service here is FAST. I guess how it's busy in NYC Manhattan, they've made sure to bring that energy to every location. These people here will dish out your order within minutes, it's hot and fresh. I customized my orders to add more avacado or swap meats and cheeses and even breads, and they get it out in less than 7 minutes probably even less than that. The honey almond cream cheese spread is amazing, it's not too sugary or nutty at all, it is just right. I get this spread with the blueberry bagel, they give a generous amount of spread, so if you don't like too much, just let them know! read more

This place is down the street from my parents' house and is my go-to quick breakfast spot in the Clifton/ Centreville area! This is tucked right by the Outback Steakhouse at the Colonnade and has plenty of parking. The staff are super helpful and there are lots of options for bagels and toppings. Everything is modestly priced, and comes out fairly quickly, even when there are crowds on weekends. It doesn't really compare to New York bagels, but it's still pretty good! I usually just go for a classic bacon egg and cheese and change the flavor of the bagels, but their Lox is also really tasty :) read more

I was so excited to try this new bagel place out near my area! When I looked at the menu, I was ecstatic to see that they offer healthier bagel sandwiches options. I got the egg white, turkey sausage, and cheese on a multigrain bagel. When I tasted the bagel, it did not taste like a multigrain bagel, because it had some sweet glaze over it???? The bagel itself was soft and fluffy on the inside but I do wish that it has a slight hard texture on the outside . The rest of the flavor was on point though, and I did not have to feel bad for eating the bagel sandwich!!! The total cost of 2 bagel sandwiches, 1 bagel w/ cream cheese, and 2 hashbrowns was 14 dollars...WHAT A STEAL!!! read more

If you've had New York bagels... then you should never eat bagels again... because you have now become a hater of all other bagels... we get it... but when the choice is either drive 5 hours OR use that time to have a job and a family to be able to afford a bagel... then the choice is obvious... Everything here is good and baked fresh in house. They have hired like 20 workers who are paid to fly around at a frantic pace to get your food to you as fresh as possible. I love the owners and workers and how friendly they are. There is usually a line but it gets resolved within minutes. All the bagels and sandwiches are great. But for me the gem of this place is their spinach egg croissant sandwich! The sauce is a nice sweet chipotle sauce that brings the whole sandwich together! I don't think I can go a week without getting one. Their house blend is pretty good and the coffee is always hot and being replenished because a lot of people are drinking it... don't think twice and become an addict... I love Manhattan bagel... I will absolutely returned on a regular basis. And think it's probably the best bagel Company in Chantilly and Northern Virginia. Although this may have been one of my first check in... Have no doubt we go here I'm pretty much a weekly to biweekly basis. I enjoy the coffee and fresh bagels. The coffee is very good and comes from a great blend of beans roasted to pretty much perfection. The bagels are always soft and chewy fresh made that day and never disappoint. The number of times that I've gone in and purchased hot bagels to bring into the office is probably close to 10 to 20 times. I really enjoy the dozen value pack. My favorite bagel is by far the super cinnamon. I also have enjoyed the egg, plain, everything, and rye. You can't really go wrong with any of the bagels in the shop. I've even had the lox and bagels here and they are definitely worthwhile. For a quick dinner I would recommend getting a dozen of the plain, egg, or potato bagels adding some spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce... And putting a piece of provolone cheese on top. Place in a oven On broil or an air fryer set to 350° for five minutes. This makes a great easy dinner that is a real crowd pleaser on those busy nights. Pizza bagels! Favorite purchases include all of the breakfast sandwiches and even their breakfast burritos. Their flavors are always great and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

I am the type of person to absolutely HATE breakfast spots. However manhattan bagel is possibly the best place to have breakfast or brunch or lunch or just a plain snack cause you're hungry. These bagels are AMAZING. You want iced coffee or a hot coffee? No problem! They have the best coffee in town (I recommend caramel iced coffee or the vanilla nut hot coffee). I also enjoy their lemonades! The bagel I get every time I go is a Turkey sausage, egg and cheese on a sesame bagel, which is absolutely delicious and they make it so fast! I also LOVE the veggie cream cheese!! The only complaint I have is that they just stare at you behind the counter while it looks like you don't know what you're about to order so make sure you know what you're gonna get before you go. read more

I'm glad I was able to find a good bagel place close to home! Their line moves pretty fast even when they're packed. I have only gotten their lox bagel because it's one of my favorites! I just wish the bagel was a little bit bigger but it's still really yummy. This place is CONSISTENTLY great. Obviously the food is on point and delicious but what I'm most impressed by is their teamwork and customer care. Ive been here on random days of the week and it is always super busy. That shows loyal customers... Even on their busiest days, they always remember who everyone's orders are. There is no customer # or receipt. You just order, pay, and wait for a couple minutes. Then one of the many employees from the back start walking to you with your order.
