This is the best bagel spot in the Centreville area. Fast service, nice staff, and great food. The owners are so nice and have been around for over 10 years. The bagels are fresh and delicious. Today I had multi grain which has the perfect mixture of sweet and salty. The Chelsea chicken sandwich is also one of my faves and a simple BLT wrap. Good hazelnut coffee as well. Manhattan is by far the best bagel place around. It most definitively trumps Panera as far as bagels go. It is a cheap, filling breakfast option and the people that run it really know their stuff. Their lunch options are just as good as their breakfast and I would take it over jimmy John's or subway any day of the week. They also have some great deals for repeat patrons. Such a nice neighborhood bagel and coffee shop. It's in the same complex as Giant, starbucks and panera-- next to Outback steakhouse. I come here often, usually before church. It's busy but they are FAST with their service. Even through their business, they somehow manage to always keep the place clean, and always stocked with coffee. The only thing that moves them away from a 5-star is the fact they are sooo busy that you have to snag a place to sit. This has been my go-to breakfast place since I was in high school. They have amazing prices for great food. I always keep it classic with a multigrain bagel with cream cheese, or I get a chocolate chip bagel with butter. I usually pair that within an iced coffee. The whole meal will usually be less than $6, and I will be full. Just one drink at the Starbucks near by would be that price! I love the service as well, the staff there are very kind, and have created a welcoming environment for their customers. No wonder everybody keeps coming back! Tried ordering pork roll on a bagel and the worker was trying to give me regular ham claiming it is the same as pork roll/taylor ham. Say what!? I have been a customer for almost 10 years now! I still love Manhattan Bagel as much as I did before. :) The owner and staff are great people. There's quick service. I usually get the Classic or the Nova Lox and ask them to thinly slice my bagel (love carbs, but need to cut 'em). I must admit the other selections are a bit pricey, but people go out to buy overpriced avocado toast so...it's really all the same. I've always loved the Ranchero Wrap, too! It's a burrito with scrambled eggs, cheese, salsa, other things I'm probably forgetting about... good stuff. Maybe not good for the calorie count, but at least I'm happy. I've gotten it so many times before that one of the workers just assume that's what I'm going to order. With a wide variety of bagels, spreads, and other sandwiches, you can find everything for a good lunch or breakfast. I always get the Nova Lox on a plain bagel and it always have the right portions for a delicious bagel sandwich. Reminds me of the bagels I used to get every morning in NYC. The price of the Nova Lox is just right and all other choices are a delicious option. Unlike most bagel shops Manhattan will give you an actual toasted bagel with a whopping serving of cream cheese, which lets face it, we all hate to admit we love mass amounts of cream cheese in one bite. I always get the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese, I have tried all the different spreads but the veggie is my favorite. They have a good variety of breakfast sandwiches too and coffee is always fresh. I don't know I would recommend large groups coming here for a meal, It is always packed when I go and hard to even find a table for two. The service is great, while the line may long it moves fast and you get your food just as fast, without any loss in quality. I went here this morning with my boyfriend, he got a BLT which was $9, which was on the menu. Totally fine. I, however got a toasted bagel add just avocado, which I get instead of cream cheese because I can't have dairy like that, which is normally about $3.00 every bagel place I go to. Here they charged me NINE dollars for it, which is ridiculous. I asked the lady for a receipt and she gave me a piece of paper with the total on it, which is obviously not what I wanted. I said "this doesn't show the items I got" and she goes "oh an itemized receipt?", which of course I wanted an itemized receipt why would I want a piece of paper with a total on it. She didn't want to show me how much the avocado bagel was because she knew it was ridiculous the way she rang it in. Then, when I was staring at the itemized receipt, she goes "avocado toast is on the menu it's $9". How did she know that the avocado bagel was what I was confused about? because she knew it was ridiculous the way I was charged. The menu also has a bagel and side avocado which is $1.50 and $2, which is how I should have been rang up because I didn't want their avocado toast, I wanted a bagel with some avocado on top. They didn't put the everything seasoning on top either which is what goes on their avocado toast after charging me $9 for it. Ruined my day. Staff is rude and unhelpful every time we go in too. We've come here a few times since moving here in October. Cute bagel shop. Everyone in there is very friendly and are glad to make your order customized how you want it. Looks like they have a lot of different options on their menu in the way of bagel sandwiches and wraps, but I just always get a plain bagel with cream cheese. My boyfriend gets different sandwiches on bagels and always says they're very tasty. So I found this on yelp while I was browsing around on yelp :) Came here and got the lox & bagel (typical smoked salmon, plain cream cheese, red onions & capers) on honey whole wheat. Boyfriend just got the plain egg & cheese bagel. Bagels were nicely toasted making it easy to chew.
