    Stuffed Meat Lovers Pizza
    Saeed R.

Parking is beyond crazy. It is located on a super busy street. That is the ONLY reason why I am not giving it 5 stars. Now to the food. I had the stuffed all-meat pizza. Now, when I went into the restaurant, the garlic knots were staring at me, so I ended up grabbing an order of those as well. Normally, I pride myself on eating like 2-3 slices of pizza in one sitting. I was barely able to finish one. The toppings were amazing, the gnotts were divine, and I will 100% come back here again.

Heard great things about this place and have been wanting to give it a try for a while because good pizza by the slice is hard to find in Columbia. Did not disappoint and I didn't even get the slices. My husband had a calzone, which is his go-to every time we head out for pizza. It came out much faster than they usually do and he said it was one of the best he's ever had. The vibe was great, didn't feel like a dive bar like some other pizza places in town do, and the service was friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be back.

This is a new spot in downtown Columbia that my NY born and raised coworker insisted we try for lunch. They are currently still on a soft opening so the entire menu isn't yet available, but we went for pizza and they had plenty of options on hand. My coworker was impressed with her pizza and was thrilled to see they also offered Zeppoles, which she ordered online as we sat in the restaurant and ate. This place is already very popular, as evidenced by the long line of patrons that came in during our time there. The pizza slices are definitely large and are of NY quality. Very delicious, and very meaty, were my meatlovers slices. The staff is still relatively new, so the lines move a bit slow, but it is definitely worth thae short wait. Highly recommend this spot for NY pizza lovers.

    Grilled Chicken hot sub!

We got the Manhattan calzone and the grilled chicken hot sub. Huge portions and amazing flavor. The ingredients are fresh and you tell the difference. The crust is perfect. This will definitely be the new go to for pizza. Also the tiramisu is heavenly!!!!

My experience was great getting some gourmet slices the other day. The slice it had were very flavorful and fresh tasting. Can't wait to try other traditional pizzas like the Sicilian soon !

Bacon ranch, white sauce and barbecue pizza

Finally..... REAL New York style pizza in Columbia South Carolina. I tried the bacon ranch pizza and the white sauce pizza and both were absolutely incredible. This is the closest thing to authentic New York pizza I've had outside of NYC. The crust was perfectly crispy, the cheese was rich and flavorful, and every bite tasted fresh and homemade. The bacon ranch pizza was loaded with flavor, and the white sauce pizza was smooth, cheesy, and unforgettable. Hands down the best pizza I've had in all of South Carolina. Columbia struck gold with this place!!! 5/5 Also the staff was incredible and so welcoming and genuine and the atmosphere was great!

Manhattan Pie just opened last week and our ROMEO group of 8 have been wanting to try some NY Pizza for some time. We were here today and arrived about 11:20. They had one waitress, the owner/manager, and I think two other workers in the back. They have tables and chairs set up around the walls and have a long counter where you can sit and eat. In the rear they have a counter for taking orders. The soft drinks are coke/diet coke and canned soda. They have only sweet or unsweetened tea and do not have half-and-half tea. The menu for pizza is quite a variety and they also have some sides and pasta dishes along with salads. The eight of us ordered a whole variety of pizzas. From basic cheese, margherita, and build your own. We mostly ordered small pizzas with a couple of medium. Our waitress had a tough time getting our 8 orders straight and went around the table several times checking to make sure she had it right. It was only her second day working there and I could see how our group with all of the different types and sizes would be an issue for her. I ordered small cheese, onion, sausage and pepperoni pizza plus I asked for a medium cheese, onion, mushroom and pepperoni pizza to be made for me to take home. My wife and I were planning on having that for dinner the following night. It took a while to make the pizzas but the owner brought out the first two. We all were totally surprised at the size of the pizzas. They told us they were small (12") but they looked more like a medium to us. When the mediums came out they almost looked like a large. All eight of us were surprised at how large the pizzas looked. Our problem started when the owner brought out the first two pizzas. The Margherita pizza was basically just a cheese pizza. Apparently they didn't have any basil. Then he brought out a couple of plain cheese pizzas. One of our members had left the table and he brought out a pizza that none of us ordered and he said "I'm sure it was for the guy that went to the restroom" and left it in front of him. I had ordered a small pizza and they brought out a medium pizza...with toppings I didn't order. I could go on and on but the bottom line is there was so much confusion with who got what that half of us were waiting or trying to tell them what we'd ordered. The waitress surely had it written down when she took the order...but somewhere between her, the cook and the manager things got screwed up. One guy orderded Ziti with Garlic knots. The ziti had very little sauce and he didn't care for it....had lots of cheese. The garlic knots were excellent. The pizza was good. Several of us liked it...good cheese, crust was lightly browned and crispy enough to eat "New Your Style" like a pie. Some didn't care much for the sauce, but the cheese was good. I was hesitant to go to this restaurant because they really haven't had much time to get things running smoothly. I don't think they had any salads, or at least the anti pasta salad. Food was good, just a bad day for them on the service end (not the waitress fault), but management. I must say they did correct every thing that went wrong. They even had a medium cheese only pizza that they brought out for us that nobody ordered. Hopefully in a month or so they can get it together. We'll probably go back later on in the year and see if they've improved. Our group rating for Manhattan Pie was a 3.3.

Bruschetta. We already ate 2! Garlicy and delicious!

Service and food was beyond amazing! This is the real deal. Bruschetta was insane in the best possible way. Pizza is a NY lovers pizza dream. We also had cheese raviolis in vodka sauce. First time we came here and will not be the last!

The food here is truly of quality! The slices and garlic knots were delicious! In some ways you can tell that this is just the beginning of the resturant, but overall will be returning and cannot wait to see this place come together! Service was a little slow but there was only one waiter working during the entire lunchtime! We tried the garlic knots ($4.95 for 6) and they were delicious! We also tried 4 different pizzas by the slice, buffalo chicken (10/10), chicken bacon ranch (9/10), pepperoni (8/10) and chicken parm (6/10 could have used more sauce)! For someone originally from New Jersey, this is pretty comparable and i'm so excited Columbia has a New York Style pizza spot now!

The white pizza was fantastic! Great for garlic lovers. I plan to become a regular there. Pizza is available by the slice and they are large slices. Reasonably priced. Nice interior, too.

Highly recommended!!!!!…read more Been here several times since moving to SC from NY. Definitely the best place we've found south of Brooklyn. Good is great and even more importantly, it's great consistently. The counter staff is always friendly and quick to get you your food. Everything is always spot on, including their homemade Italian ices. More importantly, those ices are available all year long. For anyone who knows good Italian ices, Cucinella's definitely compares to the likes of Marino's. This place has a great NYC pizza joint vibe. Simple yet awesome decor, my kinda music playing discretely in the background. Low enough to enjoy a conversation over lunch but loud enough to hear. Best of all, you can buy a pie (a pizza pie) whole or by the slice. If you're in the area, it would be worth your stopping in. Enjoy!!!

Keep in mind, NY style isn't even my favorite style, If the pizza is good, it's good. This was meh. I am being really generous with the three stars. It wasn't horrible. I had the cheese pizza because that's the way to tell how good the pizza is. The cheese tasted like Sysco bulk cheese. The sauce has almost no flavor. The crust was bland but not horrible. I think the frozen pizza from Kroger has more flavor. I thought I got covid again it was so bland. I hate to be so critical of a family owned business and I generally don't blast a place I am trying for the first time. The best thing I can say about this place is that they have a variety of toppings, though I didn't try them.

We got there about 20 minutes after opening and sat in one of the booths. The waiter took our orders quickly and brought out our drinks. We ordered 3 personal pizzas and a steak and cheese sub. We had one plain cheese pizza, a Supreme personal pizza and a build your own personal pizza with pepperoni, onions and mushrooms. We also ordered one small Garden salad. 1 sweet tea, 2 waters and a diet coke. The salad was excellent. Crispy cold lettuce with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, two types of cheese and good croutons with ranch dressing. The steak and cheese sub came out and we were surprised when wee saw the bread. We were expecting a regular style hoagie bun or baguette type bun, but looked almost like a pita bread from the top. I asked the waiter what type of bread it was and he said they make their own bread. It was excellent. Looked like a naan bread almost. She ordered jalapeno's on it and it was excellent. Said she'd order it again. The pizzas were good. I had the supreme and the sausage was real good. We all agreed that the crust and cheese were very good. Two of us thought the sauce was different and must've had something it it, as they didn't rave over the sauce. I had the supreme and there were so many toppings that I didn't pay much attention to the sauce. Mine was very good. We were surprised that they only offer two sizes of pizzas...personal and large. Large is $24.95 and personals are around $14.95. They have a good selection of pizzas. Our one complaint was the pricing. They charge $2.00 for toppings and $3.00 got premier toppings. It's the same charge for either the personal or large pizzas. Our personal Cheese pizza (with no toppings) was $9.50. My personal Supreme pizza was $14.95 (which contained mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, bacon, black olives and green pepper) while my wife ordered just a personal pepperoni with onions ($2) and mushrooms ($3), totaling $15. Seems like they'd charge less for toppings on a personal size than on a large! My bill as $43.97 before the tip. Our neighbors bill for their pizza, sandwich and drink was $32.59 before tip. They were charged $4 for jalapeno's on the side and slices of tomato.

Rachel was quick, witty and so sweet and had a way with the kiddos my daughter loved her. We started off with the cast iron goat cheese as the appetizer- solid and even the kids loved it. For our main course my daughter went with the grilled cheese from the kids menu that came with fries and a coke, my son just got a burger with everything but tomato from the regular menu and devoured the entire plate, I was torn between the Mediterranean bowl or the Baja bowl however Rachel recommended the honey harissa bowl with a crab cake and let me tell you it was amazing! Literally tasted so fresh and delicious, my husband was going to go with the steak however they unfortunately were out so he went with his second choice which was the creole shrimp and grits which he cleared the plate but that too was sooo delicious. The broccoli was cooked well , not hard but not soft and had some spice to it. I ordered the hanger steak with sweet potatoes instead of fries and omg it was so good. I got my steak cooked medium well, and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I loved the Parmesan on top of the sweet potatoes. It was the perfect pair. The drink I got was a white sangria which was sweet but not too sweet. You could def taste the wine and all the fruit flavors. My girl go the oven brick salmon and that didn't miss either. The food... we ordered the Garlic Knots, Mediterranean Pizza, and a Pepperoni Pizza, and were not disappointed. The Garlic Knots - freshly made, good quality dough. We almost went back and ordered a second order of 'em. The pizzas? We loved them!
