Pretty mediocre pizza. With so many good food options in the area, I'm pretty sure this spot mostly caters to bar go-ers. They offer pizzas, subs, and more. I was surprised how pricey their pizzas are. The Chicken Parmigiana Pizza sounded unique, so we decided to try this one. It has fried breaded chicken breast, fresh basil, and mozzarella. There were small pieces of scattered chicken parmigiana across the pizza. They were very thin pieces, and it mostly tasted like end pieces with a lot of batter. Pretty dry too. There was also zero basil on the pizza. Thought it might be hidden under the cheese, but it wasn't there either. Pretty pricey for what you get. The pizza took a really long time to make considering there was only one other person waiting for their order. I think they forgot about us because it wasn't until some time after the other person waiting had left that they asked us if we were waiting for an order. Once we got our pizza, it was super hot. Beware, don't just bite into it right away like I did and burn yourself! There are some tables in the back where you can eat your pizza. They have a few TVs, but when we were there, they had the read aloud setting on...but it was on the movie selection screen, so it just kept saying the same one liner in a robotic voice over and over again. A very small hole in the wall serving delicious food and pizzas. I had ordered two slices of pepperoni pizzas. They popped them in the oven and came out hot. Added some grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning on top. My mouth was salivating. Took a bite and yes I was satisfied. I love pizzas and so do my kids. This is a perfect spot to grab a quick slice or small snack. I love their cheese pizza, which come in huge slices, and are warmed up upon ordering. This was my first time trying their garlic knots which were nice and buttery, not overwhelmingly garlicky but allowing you to still taste it. It's coated with some parmesan and comes with a side of marinara which is a necessity. They are soft and delicious. I have come here across different occasions and have had a good experience each time. There is a seating area in the back which is convenient, but this food is also great to enjoy on the beach as well. read more

Bro with the baseball hat said 10 mins for a slice of pepperoni. After not being greet for 20 mins. It was awkward standing there waiting to notice you. While the staff was all cackling and shit. Told us to wait after we waited for 15 mins. Came to take our order 5 mins later. And there were like only 2 parties of 3 (6people) to wait 45 mins for a pepperoni slice is GNARLY. Let's do better. Went here with a friend who was visiting from out of town and was looking for an affordable quick service restaurant nearby. We luckily found parking near the pier so we walked from there. Otherwise I'm sure it's a pain. In hindsight I would rather have gotten back in the car and driven somewhere else. I'm not sure that the one dollar sign is accurate based on the menu options, and I wouldn't eat here again for multiple reasons I'll try to detail below. The pizza was OK, but it definitely took forever even though they weren't that busy. Also wasn't a fan of the ambiance and it felt out of place among other eateries in this area. Another review said it seems like the place is ran by teenagers and that was the exact vibe I got! It's not giving family friendly or kid friendly or even a fun catch up meal with the girls. The narrow walkways and dining area are likely not accessible either. The service was nonexistent. We had to ask for multiple updates on our food, for utensils, literally everything . I just remember being annoyed the whole time we were there, lol. Staff just didn't seem to care to be honest. There was also so much trash left on our table (from the people before us) which they clearly made an effort to ignore. I'll add an extra star for the bathroom being better than I expected... Wait time was horrible, in addition the guy that made the pizza was overall rude and I was charged twice first for the wrong pizza then second for right pizza. This is a longtime landmark of Manhattan Beach and my family and I have enjoyed quite a few great pizzas here. However, what is going on inside here? We went to grab some pizza this last Labor Day weekend - I couldn't even hear the employee asking me questions above the EDM music. The back tables are a mess, the leather is cracked and hard, its not that clean, the tables are never set; its more a storage area if anything. Its an uncomfortable place to be inside. This place used to be much more fun to sit and enjoy food in the restaurant. I'm disappointed with the environment and service. The pizza was ok. Service is comically bad. Zero attempt at organization, kinda feels like if me and my buddies got fried and tried to run a kitchen. If you guys are reading this, do you have a system? That was the most "winging it" operation I've seen in years. I ordered a 14 inch pep and some mozzarella sticks and it took 50 minutes, despite my friends asking multiple times if the food was being made and despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. It was an actual sauna in there, I think the heat got to the staffs head, as it certainly did to mine. Nonetheless, the food was great. The pizza was delicious. We waited an hour for the worst pizza of my life. Was not packed staff was just lazy and inconsiderate. After 30 minutes of waiting they finally started making the pizza. When they finally gave it to us they put it down and didn't say anything even though we just waited an hour. We tried to talk to one of the staff but basically just said he works there and it's not his fault even though he was the one that was making the pizzas. I could make a better pizza blindfolded. If I could give negative stars, I would. This place is an absolute joke. My husband went in for TWO simple slices of pepperoni with mushrooms. Should've been a 5-minute thing. Instead, he stood there for over 25 minutes watching people who came in after him leave with their food. Finally, he asks what's going on, and surprise -- they "forgot" to make it. The "solution"? Slap a handful of raw mushrooms straight out of the container onto the pizza and try to hand it over like that's acceptable. No gloves, after touching the register & everything else behind the counter. When he asked them to actually cook it, the slices came back with four sad little mushrooms dumped in the middle, barely even warmed up. Absolutely pathetic. When my husband -- calmly, mind you -- asked if it could be remade properly (an HOUR had already passed at this point), the long-haired slob behind the counter lost it. Called him a "dumbass," told him to "get the fuck out of my kitchen," and started throwing out other insults like some unhinged teenager. He literally tossed the food in the trash instead of fixing it, and of course, didn't even offer a refund. The worker looked FILTHTY, hair dangling everywhere, no gloves, touching register then touching food. Disgusting, incompetent, and completely unprofessional. Not only is the pizza not good anymore, it appears to be ran by a group of teenagers as if it's the fucking hype house; there's random kids walking in and out the back who don't even look as if they work here. I went here to pick up a bite to eat as I was hanging out on the beach, and the sun was doing a number on me and I needed to eat some thing. I ordered my food from the cashier, asked a couple of questions. She was knowledgeable, I made my decision, and told her I was gonna go to the bathroom. Well, I'm sure the side salads are premade, so my order was up quickly. I heard the Cook yelling "small house"which is a small house salad (what I ordered)...and I opened the bathroom door and I said "in the bathroom I'll be right out"....I don't think he hear me because the music was so loud! But, to yell small house at least four times was ridiculous. If someone hasn't answer by the second call, just leave it for a bit! I was also surprised that the cashier didn't lean back and say she's in the bathroom she'll be right back because I told her I was going to the bathroom. Let's discuss why I think he couldn't hear me... he had the music playing so loud. He was blasting hip-hop with explicit lyrics! I listen to everything with explicit lyrics! But, as a business, during the day with parents and small children present, that should never happen. In fact, when I retrieved my salad and sat down in the back, there was a table across from me that had said that they didn't like the music that he was playing and they didn't like that there was so much cursing in the music. Perhaps the person that took my order was overwhelmed. There were a lot of people there was at least to 10 person deep line. To their defense there was a sign in the window saying that they needed help but the sign was so small that you have to get right up on it to actually see it. I would suggest to the manager, moving forward that they create a better sign that draws attention to it with a way to apply directly and a number to contact or a website to visit that they can receive applications on. I would have no explicit music playing during the day. I would have better communication between the cook, and the order taker. About the salad... It was OK. I mean I was hungry, so I ate it but I feel that it was missing like some toppings. I had like four or five olives, one artichoke and like three rings of pepperonchinis. However, the ingredients were fresh and the dressing was good. Just some improvements need to be made. I don't think I would go back though. read more
