Love supporting Stuft Pizza! Their pizza is a "Hit" everytime and their ranch is the best intown!

My last memory of Stuft Pizza is trauma bonded with my middle school tackle football career. We'd come here after practices often, and it was a clear indicator that I had made it through another day in hell. Middle school pop warner football was the most depressed I've been in my entire life. They ran the El Segundo Eagles like they were trying to win a super bowl, and I was just trying to have fun and make friends. The anxiety and dread of sitting in school knowing I had a week of practices looming over my head is a feeling I struggle to put into words. I hate putting myself back in that headspace. I'm having war flashbacks even typing this out... They made me play O-line smh. Yesterday (18 years later), my brother and I walked into Stuft Pizza to pick up some pizzas for his son's 1st birthday party. Time flies. Right when we walked in, I was hit with a wave of nostalgia as the interior is nearly the exact same. It's nice when everything in your life can change, but the Stuft Pizzas of the world don't. It really had me reflecting on my journey through life. After the nostalgia wore off, the smells of fresh pies being developed began to dominate my senses. I forgot how good this pizza was. It has a crusty undercarriage and ample sauce to cheese ratio, which is my preferred slice. Y'all can keep the $30 Slice and Pint pie and the flop it comes with. This place could really use a facelift and some positive energy. The pizza was very mid. Not much flavor going on at all. It's a great location but just seems to be existing and not thriving. The service was friendly enough so no issues there. I would return to give it one more try but man, with just a few simple tweaks this place could easily go from mid to must go! read more

I don't want to bash nice people but it's time for this place to end its misery. I was solo on this cheat day and was heading for a couple slices from the popular and delicious Prime Pizza just a short distance away. Unfortunately, Prime was super packed and I didn't want to wait. I decided to cruise by Stuft... I think I had it once before a few years back. The inside is absolutely dilapidated: the soda machine down, handles missing on bathroom faucets, none of the games work, menus are all taped up, dust everywhere. It's dirty and weird. Beautiful murals adorn the walls from a past when someone cared about the place, but those days are long gone. The pizza wasn't awful. It was airport-quality. It took a long time. The service was polite but not welcoming. There is no reason a little attention to cleanliness and passion couldn't fix things quickly but it has been this way for awhile along its long decline. I was introduced to Stuft Pizza by the El Segundo police department at an event hosted by them. I truly believe they must have ordered a couple of each pizza this place has to offer. Each slice was so big, so it was a difficult choice on which pizza to select from. Then I saw my personal favorite, pepperoni! Game on! The dough had such a fresh taste to it, not like the chain pizza places. The sauce and pepperoni was spot on, that it literally melts in your mouth. As badly I wanted to try one of the other pizzas, that slice filled me up. It comes at no surprise that the El Segundo police department loves this place. read more

Pizza was "ok" to "meh". Not terrible, but not worth the calories. There are too many good places to have pizza to bother.

Stopped by after work last night, mind you I live 45 miles away, bought the 4 cheese pizza, and a thin crust extra cheese mushrooms, pepperoni, bell peppers and sausage. And a small order of mozzarella sticks. I couldn't believe how good this pizza was by the time I got home, which was roughly an hour, I heat up the oven and threw both pizzas in there and the sticks.... All I can say is woooowwwww!!! We've been coming to this place for a few years now, the older lady at the register very rude, she gets mad when you ask questions, and never smiles never!!! Went back to dine in after the pandemic and the prices went up a lot , I thought maybe the portions are a little bit bigger, wrong !!! Their actually smaller!!! Man, oh man! This place is delicious. Don't let the size fool you it might be small but it's a mouth full of flavor in every bite. Ordered a small veggie pizza to share with my boyfriend and it was the perfect snack. Everything from the dough to the temperature to the flavors was just a perfect medley of ca-pow. Outstanding pizza place! As a high school student I bought pizza here almost every day during freshman year. The pizza is ready pretty quickly and great for a quick meal. Larger pizzas are a great price as well! My favorite thing about Stuft is how friendly the staff are--this restaurant definitely brings character to the El Segundo community. read more

I like it here, it's spacious and there is both parking in the back and on the street, both are free. I think the prices are alright, nothing too expensive. You can see that everything is being made fresh. The mozzarella sticks are great, as well as the vegetarian pizza. There are also plenty of seats! read more

Don't sweat the small Stuft Pizza slices or thick, bread-like crust at this local pizza joint on Main Street in El Segundo because each slice is just a buck. That's right, $1 pizza slices ... plus $1 sodas. Much like talk, this pizza is cheap. The pizza tastes like a cross between Red Barron and Costco, but I actually saw the pies being made behind the counter, so, it's fresh cheap pizza with thin toppings and cheese. But it's just a $1, so, what do ya expect, right? The ladies behind the counter were as sweet as can be. Can't fault them for anything. The soda machine didn't work right ... out of coke & ice, but they quickly stepped up to offer alternatives. Parking was easy on the street and there is a shared lot in the alley behind the building. This is yet another wish for a 1/2 star rating from Yelp, as I feel that Stuft Pizza is ok (just barely), but not A-Okay. So I wish I could give them a 2.5 star rating. If you are a resident of El Segundo and are within walking distance, Stuft Pizza is a decent choice for a pizza. The building's façade screams of the 1960's & 1970's and is definitely due for an update, but I can live with a slightly dated exterior, as it adds to El Segundo's laid back charm. However, the interior is in desperate need of a renovation. I would bet that a fresh coat of paint, some brighter lights and a new floor would totally change the place. But the real story here is the pizza itself and I don't think Guy Fieri is going to show up any time soon for an episode of "Triple D". This is definitely not gourmet pizza, but it'll do in a pinch. For all you lovers of NY style pizza, this is not the place for you, as the dough and crust are pretty thick. The toppings are average and ample. The pizza is ok and there are specials when you can get $1.00 slices, which is a great deal; even more of a deal than Costco's slices; but I digress. So if you are on a budget and are craving Pizza, this very well may be your new "go to" spot. The staff here is always friendly and that goes a long way with me. Even if they didn't change the pizza or menu at all, I'd give them a full 3 star rating if they just freshened up the interior. There you have it. I'll let you decide for yourself. read more

Yeaa, we went here after boozing it up at Crush. As I said in my review of Crush, the food there wasn't exactly exciting so we didn't want to waste our money on the lackluster food. We walked up and down the street and decided to stop here for pizza. I saw comparisons of this place to Vinny's around the corner, and had to be a part of that debate. The pizza here isn't NY style so you can't really compare it to Vinny's. We got the small special and it was pretty good. The dough tasted fresh and the bottom of the pizza was crispy while the rest was soft and hot. It was a good pizza, not amazing but filling (which is what we were going for). There was a stark difference between this place and Crush. The ambiance was definitely more casual. It's a family establishment so there were chillens running around (one left a nice deuce in the bathroom for my boyfriend...thanks for flushing kid). It has a dingy divey feel to it. We came to get some pizza on a Saturday night and the place was empty. Not to imply that it was bad, but I think more people do take out here than done in. We ordered wings and a large stuffed deluxe pizza. We got the wings after about a 10 min wait or so and they were hot. They came with ranch and hot sauce. The wings were meaty, but kinda fatty. Nice flavor on this dish. We got the deluxe pizza and while I think there were plenty of toppings, the pizza itself was kind of bland. This could be solved if they put more tomato sauce, cause we had a lot of toppings but not a lot of sauce. I think they ran out of beer so we went to the liquor store and bought some of our own. Their response was they the prices on the site are not accurate and they have gone up ... it was like 40 percent higher. What a waste of time. This is false advertising.
