Two months after moving to the area and purchasing a 2017 Mercedes-Benz from CarMax, her car began backfiring due to a failed camshaft--a known issue with this model. Shoreline Auto Clinic completed the initial repair, which was covered by the CarMax extended warranty. However, a week ago, the new camshaft failed. This time, the warranty company sent the car to Mercedes-Benz in Lynwood, who estimated the repair at over $9,000. Mercedes-Benz claimed the new failure was Shoreline Auto Clinic's fault for not replacing 'recommended' additional parts, voiding the warranty coverage. Jori at Shoreline Auto Clinic fiercely defended his work. Even while on vacation, he stayed engaged and proved the failure wasn't due to missing parts, but rather a design flaw in the camshaft itself (a fault Mercedes-Benz corrected in 2019). Jori even made a video comparing the faulty part to a new one, clearly showing the camshaft head had spun. Thanks to Jori's diligence, the extended warranty agreed to cover the repairs a second time, and my tenant got her car back. Jori's commitment went above and beyond--he stayed fully engaged in a dispute between the warranty company and Mercedes-Benz out of genuine care for his customer. I highly recommend Shoreline Auto Clinic for their expertise, integrity, and exceptional customer service.

I did quite a bit of digging for a center that specializes in RV electrical repair. We had a project that involved my replacing our old lead acid system with a much more capable and lighter LiFePo4 system. Now we are experiencing issues with the battery not getting fully charged and so I reached out. When the phone rang and the gentlemen picked up the phone, all he said was hello. I introduced myself, explained what I was looking for and asked if I called the right place. He said yep. I asked him his name and that's when it felt like it was going down hill. I should have excused myself and called elsewhere. Who sounds exasperated to have to say their own name at their own business? Anyway, I went on to explain my issue in detail, what I had done on my own to try and solve the issue and his reply was, do I want to fix it or him to do it. Again I'm thinking, sir, I came to you for help, what's with the attitude? So again, trying to be as sweet as pie so as to not upset Capt Cranky, I further explained that my vehicle, a brand new vehicle that he assumed I bought used and told me as much may not be putting out enough amps to activate an onboard charger and if this could be examined as well. His answer after learning it was a new vehicle was to take my truck back to the dealership and make them fix it. BUT! This was after asking condescending questions about why I didn't consider this variable and mitigate that. I told him that I just didn't know anymore. I've reached the end of my ability to problem solve and I wanted an expert to help at this point and that's why I was calling him. That's when he tells me that I need to bring my RV to his shop in Marysville (not Redmond), and that he needs actual time to solve the issue in its entirety and to make sure I allow for that at $160/hr. I'm thinking, ok, steep, but probably worth it....until he said this....and if you have a budget of about $300 which it sounds like you do, I'm not gonna look at it. At this point I told the gentlemen I'm done being berated and talked down to and this was a huuuge mistake calling his shop much less staying on the phone with this jacka$$. He hung up the phone and then texted me saying the call got dropped. Ok buddy. Save your money folks. There are other shops willing to make you feel like you called the right place. Clearly not Pacific RV.

Awesome team here! Stopped by 5/23/26 at 1pm for an online…read moreappointment I made. Suspected I had a slow leak in my front left tire. The guys were friendly, professional, and informative. Busy day so I had to wait almost 2 hours but they got everything fixed up in no time! Also they were jamming out to some good tunes! Playing banger after banger. My phone died but with the good music I wasn't bored! There was actually a nail in the tire but these guys fixed it up for free/no cost and sent me on my way. Thank you Discount Tire Shoreline!!

I have previously purchased tires from Factory Tire Sales in Edmonds, then switched to tire purchase and service from Les Schwab in North Seattle until that site permanently closed. I looked into quotes from Les Schwab in Shoreline and Edmonds, and also did not pursue service from Costco in Shoreline. I received strong recommendations from family and friends, plus looked into Yelp reviews that had me give Discount Tire in Shoreline serious consideration. I received decent customer service info and their website helped me with information, selection, subsequent purchase and scheduling. I was even squeezed in a day ahead of schedule and the tire installation was completed within 20 minutes! I was still eating my breakfast sandwich in their waiting area. The overall experience provided accurate information and decent selection for one's budget. I was able to set up an online account, compare tires for features and cost, and set up my appointment. Customer service received via telephone and onsite were efficient and professional. The installation team were thorough and even brought my car and keys right by the entrance. Before at Les Schwab, I may have had free coffee and popcorn, but had to wait for hours for installation while seated in an unpleasant waiting room. Here at Discount Tires in Shoreline, I received decent customer service, seated in a clean waiting area, and respect for my time and vehicle.

Trev's Towing went above and beyond!…read more My son called me in the middle of the night after his battery died while he was stopped at Tom Thumb. We tried jumping it ourselves, and even an employee from the store came out to help, but nothing worked. Then Trev showed up like an angel. Not only did he get the car started, but he refused to charge us a dime. Who does that anymore?!
