Kid's Strider getting turned into a balance bike
    Sandy P.

Good dude. Helped me when I was in a pinch trying to take off the pedals on my kid's Strider so he could learn to balance first. Most bike shops in the area still sell kids bikes with training wheels, which research shows is not the best way for kids to learn to ride. Manny understood this right away. I went to another highly reviewed shop by the beach and while he did help with lowering the handlebar, he said the pedals would be removed easily and didn't assist with the pedals. Manny took us in without hesitation and already knew they'd be on tight, too tight for the avg person to loosen with homeowner tools. He used his heavy duty tools and even pumped up the tires without my asking. Refused payment for his services when asked. We are just blocks away from him and will be returning for all our future bike needs.

    Test ride!

Took my trike in for a derailleur adjustment that I could not get after a week of trying.

Back on July 3rd, 2026 I went into this bike shop expecting a meh experience from reading other…read morereviews about the employees at this location, but my experience with Art was great. I was in the ballpark of knowing what sort of e-bike to get (tech-spec wise), but wanted it within a certain budget range, which was out of scope for my knowledge. Art helped me pick and choose what bike options I had within their inventory. Ultimately I took up on his decision on getting a Mangosteen e-bike. Art's recommendations and advice was the best to understand and good to know. If you end up working with Art, He'd hook you up. Store Pros: A LOT of e-bikes to choose from. They had a much bigger inventory than expected, since from the outside the store looks small. You'll most likely find something you'd like here. Accessories are readily available in-store as well. If you need a new bike lock, helmet, or maintenance parts (brake pads, and other misc. parts), they will be readily available in-store. Store Cons: While the store had a great inventory to look and choose from, it was more on the pricier side. Again, It's subjective per person, but from what I remember from browsing around, most e-bikes in this location start from $1,250+. While there are some affordable e-bikes in this location, the starting price might deter budget-friendly buyers from this location. Due note: the upside to these higher prices is that the bikes come pre-assembled, and labor fees are NOT included when buying the bike. That's a plus in my book. Only one employee may be available at a time. No shade to Art (more than anything go to him before anyone else.). Since there's typically one person on the floor to help customers out, there may be a chance of long wait times if the employee is helping someone else out in the store. If you're an impatient person, this will be a red flag to you. For anyone else that is patient, It's worth the wait. Overall: I'll definitely be coming back to this shop for bike-related maintenance, questions, and possibly buy more bikes in the future if need be. But depending on who you're with, your experience may vary. I can happily vouch for Art, His work and commitment on helping me out has been outstanding.

(to give you a visual) womp, womp. Jake assessed the "project" to determine that it wasn't fit for me to ride, which made me feel safe that I was in good hands as he was looking out for my well-being - LOVE THAT! Love you, Jake!!! You're my boy blue. The repairs were costly at first, and he made it work within my budget. Full transparency (asking questions) and good communication go a long way and keep the peace (note to everyone). I am soooo beyond grateful that he knew what was needed and took care of it all within just two days! Attentive, fast, and thorough - calling to share updates along the way. (No one likes financial surprises, so that was kind on my wallet). Also, upon pickup, Kevin noticed my seat was too low and hiked it up to the height that was appropriate for my leg/knee length - thank you, Kevin! 5 stars and 5 snaps! If your bike is broken... this is where you go without a doubt. You're welcome. Thanks again, Jake & Kevin!

I planned this ride around catching the sunset on the peir, right after turning the bike in. This location is perfect for that. Its literally a 1 minute walk from the peir.
