Wow this place kept surprising us over and over again with complimentary food because we were there on our anniversary lunch!! The vibes are so gorgeous!! We ordered the prosciutto and arancini, the limone, and the chicken parm. The prosciutto and arancini was delicious - very light in flavor and crispy, though I wish there was slightly more marinara sauce. Before our mains, they gave us FREE focaccia with Calabrian chili butter and olive oil. This was some of the fluffiest most delicious focaccia, and that butter was absolutely addicting and just perfectly emulsifies on your bread. The limone pasta strikes a great balance between creamy and citrusy - you get that rich bechamel sauce with a splash of lemon! They also give you a cute pot of parm to sprinkle on top, in addition to a jar of red pepper flakes. The chicken parm was delicious!! It wasn't pounded too thin so you still get that juicy chicken, the crust was crispy but not heavy, and the tomatoes were some of the most fresh I've ever had. No wonder this place is farm to table! They also gave us a FREE cornetto, which is a flaky pistachio croissant topped with pistachio powder and filled with pistachio cream. This was absolutely delicious - and they said it was because of our anniversary! Finally, when we got our bill, we only saw the two main courses on there. We asked our server, and she said she was going to give us the arancini for free because of our celebration and it was our first time going to the restaurant. Genuinely just amazing service and the best food!! I'll definitely be coming back again and again!!

Went to Mano a Mano for their $1 pasta with wine bottle purchase deal/for a fancy celebration dinner with Chicago friends. At first we couldn't believe the pasta deal, but the wine is quite expensive, so it makes sense. Still felt worth it though! Between four of us, we ended up getting 2 bottles of wine, 3 pastas, one app, and free bread and free champagne. All the staff were super cool and sweet. My one complaint is that they were TOO good! Like they were so on clearing the table, and we are every last drop/bite people, so there were some pastas that we wanted the sauce and they got snatched so quick we didn't even notice. But that is more of an us problem :) Overall, a great place to come for a fancy girl's night!

This might be my new favorite restaurant in Chicago! Their deals are phenomenal. - got their $8 cocktail/wine deal with a free pizzetta each. SUCH a steal, came with free bread and their basil olive oil/butter which was soooo good. could've been fine on this alone for dinner. - the butternut squash/brown butter pasta was SO. GOOD. some of the best i've had in chicago. - caesar salad was solid. could not complain. - cocktails and wine were so good too. their happy hour specials cannot be beat, such as: $1 pasta on wednesdays when you buy a bottle of wine. we didn't get it this time around but such a steal for the quality. Service was good and the restaurant was cozy. I'm amazed, will be back for sure!!

Come here for brunch solely for the pancake and you will not be disappointed. One of the best I've ever had!!!! Also really enjoyed the spaghetti/egg brunch dish. Our waitress Autumn did a great job of explaining the menu. Love the restaurant ambiance, lowlit and classy.

This might be one of the most slept on happy hours in the city! The great drink deals come with complementary pizzetas (mini pizzas), that are delish - a great way to prepare for the amazing dinner they have to offer. You can't go wrong with anything but out of what we got, the Lobster Ravioli was my favorite! Our server was super great and attentive despite the business of a Friday night, and the ambiance was cute and not too loud. This place is definitely a great addition to this street!

Mano A Mano where have you been all my life? Dramatic? perhaps but so true when I say this. It's a romantic date spot inside with a classic feel while you can sit outside on their patio if you prefer a little more casual. We ordered the Zucchini flowers , the lemon fettuccine and the cavatelli. Can I get a 100 of those flowers please. I don't even know how to describe it, other than the texture is like a pillow of air and the taste is exotic and unique. That probably didn't help. I typically don't order fettuccini and specially if it's a 'white' sauce but so glad I did since the lemon really enhances the flavor of the dish. I look forward to going back to try more of their hand made pastas.

I reallyyyyyy wanted to love this place. Unfortunately it wasn't for me. Located on busy Milwaukee is a tiny dimly lit restaurant. To start you can only order wine by the bottle... now this place is mostly two tops which means if you're out with someone who drinks a different wine than you, you have to order 2 different bottles of wine. We ordered a ton since it was our first time coming here. They brought us out complimentary bread and butter which sadly was the highlight of our meal. We ordered the tiny calamari, this was probably my fault but I wasn't expecting to be brought whole squid, head and all. While we were waiting for our food we noticed it was taking a while. The table next to us had sat down 15 minutes after us and had their bill before we even had our entrees. The staff tried to make it up to us by bringing out a Ceasar salad... I'm not sure who like this but arugula and Ceasar don't mix. Also, not to sound ungrateful but after waiting almost 45+ minutes for our food you only brought out a salad to say sorry?! They also didn't mention they brought it out because of the wait and just dropped it at our table, we tried to send it back because we were confused as we never ordered it which made the waiter have to come back with the dish and explain why they brought it out and made the whole situation awkward. Just strange to not say anything and just leave it at the table. Onto the entrees. Both were fine, nothing special and quite pricey. The lobster ravioli was so small that I had to pick up food somewhere else after we left. Literally 0 filling in the raviolis. We would have liked to order dessert but honestly we couldn't wait to leave.

My carbonara did not look like carbonara. Not impressed with this plate. I will commend their bread and butter which was very delicious

Jess the owner told me to come back proteins have been added, sooo you know I did! Had just gotten back from Italy and this was the first place I went out to . Service is always outstanding. I love the vibe of this dimly lit restaurant. For fun on Special they had a white Negroni I love, switching it up to one of those every now and again. Started with the mussels. I usually like them in a white sauce better but this red sauce was unbelievable could not get enough of it. Wanted to put my face in it . Tried the lobster ravioli this time very good And for a protein, we got the veal I've never had this presentation deep-fried before, but it was friggin delicious. You know I had to End dinner with a lil amaro service. Everything was just fantastic thank you guys so much for adding proteins to the menu. Can't wait to return again soon, Great spot!

Mano A Mano has been on my list for quite some time. So let's get into it. The first time I visited, we were told there were no tables available that night. I was confused. No, we didn't make a reservation, but they didn't leave any space for walk-ins? I've legit never heard of that for a restaurant, ever... And I've worked in many. Even very popular ones always save at least SOME space for walk-ins. I was like, we can't wait for a table? There's no wait time? Just - no tables available today? Also - it wasn't even a weekend. Just a very odd and off-putting first experience. The next time, I made a reservation. Obviously. The interior was fine - but it's just 1 room with a bunch of tables. There's no bar or focal point. Just a room with tables. I was surprised how tiny and expensive the appetizers were considering the restaurant isn't fine dining. It basically evened out to nearly $10 per bite of food, lol. The pasta was spectacular and unique, even the bolognese, which I enjoyed! I actually came here really wanting their lasagna that I saw on Instagram, and didn't realize it's only on the menu sometimes, which was a bummer. There are some other pastas I want to try, too. We skipped dessert, but I've heard it's worth it and would stick to pasta and dessert, next time. I also have to admit, I'm not a win-o, per se, but I do enjoy wine, especially of the Italian varieties. Their wine menu straight up confused me, and I really disliked both the red wines they had available by the glass. I will say our server seemed relatively well-versed in explaining/describing the wines, but didn't make a recommendation that I actually enjoyed, which was a bummer. Considering the wine menu seems upscale, hand picked, and with options I wasn't familiar with, I would've loved a sommelier or manager to discuss the wines with our table! Overall, it wasn't quite what I hoped for, but I would give it a second chance.

Have been wanting to go to Mano A Mano for awhile and finally made it in. The restaurant itself has a romantic vibe with low lighting and a quiet atmosphere great for conversation. I went with a friend and we got a couple of appetizers and then each ordered a pasta. The food was solid and I would definitely go back again.

Beautiful ambience with delicious home made pastas! The wooden interior panels gives off a cozy and intimate vibe. The complimentary bread with the Calabrian chile butter/basil oil is SO good! We also tried the foccacia appetizer which was more of a flat bread filled with cheese but also very tasty. The pastas are smaller portions so this is a great place to come with a small group and order family style! The pasta Ala nonna was on the spicier side and our favorite! The mushroom papardelle and spring onion pesto were also delicious! Would definitely come back!

Cute little Italian spot right in the heart of Logan Square! The food was great and the plates are easy to share. Our server was super friendly and knew the menu well -- gave us a few great suggestions. The lighting is soft and cozy, perfect for a date night. They've got a nice wine and drink list too. It gets pretty busy, so definitely make a reservation. Great place if you want to impress someone and have some quality time together.

The charcuterie board with mixed meat and cheese was really small though. Only three pieces of cheese for five people... it made it feel like an awkward fight over who'd get to try some. The gluten free crackers were appreciated though. We ended up ordering more food including the "party tray" which I would describe more as charcuterie nachos. We didn't really know what to expect with this one so we got the canned mussels but it really would've tasted better with the prosciutto instead. It included a whipped cheese, olives, and cornichons piled onto potato chips. Less of a tray and more of a nacho-style dish. If we return next time we're in town, I'd skip the food and focus more on the wine. Beyond that, it was a fun time!
