The standout for our family was definitely the Kids' Meal. At $12, it has to be the best deal on the island--it even includes a drink and dessert. My kids absolutely ate it up, which is always a win. The environment is very laid-back and casual with an open-air setup that lets you see the ocean while you eat. We loved that we could just walk right in without a wait, and the service was very friendly. They also have a convenient spot on the side where they sell pizza by the slice if you're in a hurry. Such an amazing venue. The indoor / outdoor feel with amazing views sets the scene. The amazing service seals the deal. Let me tell you about Seth. One of the best Bartenders i've ever encountered. He's friendly, attentive, and knows his stuff. Very personable and kind. The food is delicious. If you don't order a pizza, you're missing out. The cocktails are even better. The nighttime experience is the best. They take security seriously, and I've never felt more safe at a bar. The security personnel are the most friendly and welcoming, while looking like they can take my life with their pinky finger... I will always make this a stop when I visit. Decided to stop by this restaurant to try some og Hawaiian pizza. I was delighted to see they used really pork instead of ham. Honestly, this pizza isn't the greatest you'll find, but it's not terrible either. It's located in the heart of Wailea and when you're staying there with a family, kids especially, pizza is an easy option. We had really decent service the two times we went there, and the pizza came out in about 20-30 mins each time. It wasn't bad pizza, it was good, it just wasn't great. Perched up over a golf course lies an airy Hawaiian pizza joint Manolis, pop in for happy hour or a full blown meal and you won't be disappointed with either route you chose to go. Service, was like you were one of their own through the help of Kayla, and the pizza in mine and my parties opinion was some of the best on the island. We stopped into Manoli's Pizza Co on a local recommendation from a bartender at Kai Bar, who swore their Mai Tai was just as good as the foamed one at Monkeypod. I'm not usually a Mai Tai person, but this one was pretty good--definitely worth the stop if you're in the area. We sat at the bar next to a couple of girls who weren't impressed with their pizza... naturally, I had to try a slice. It was a decent Hawaiian slice--cold, since it was theirs and not fresh out the oven--so call it a spot rating: 6/10. Nothing mind-blowing, but totally fine if you're craving pizza. Our family has been coming to Maui yearly for at least 10 yrs. This has always been one of our favorite spots. Came for dinner a bit over a week ago. Our waitress took our order. Someone else brought half the food. We were almost done and one of our kids still didn't have food. Nobody checked in on us..not once. After asking, they made his food. Our waitress never came back to our table. We had to flag other servers (at least 3) down to get water, etc. I did say something to who I think was the manager before I paid and he discounted our bill a little bit. No "sorry", no "what could we have done better?" A few days later, I got notified by my credit card asking if I meant to leave a 38% tip. I absolutely did not. I had to go back to the restaurant to get this fixed. I still had my receipt so the transaction could be looked up. Talked to the same manager. He fixed it. The pizza itself was actually really good, and the place was clean and nice but unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. We waited about 10-15 minutes just to be acknowledged while staff stood around looking at us without saying anything. When someone finally came over, we asked about dining in and got a very unsure response with a lot of hesitation and no clear answer. It didn't get better from there. Worst decision I ever made on the island of Maui was choosing this place for dinner. It started with the host who ran around the restaurant in circles looking for our table which then leas to the worst dining experience. Service was slow, food was so awful and the whole experience was terrible. I really don't know how this place has been in business so long. I should have saved $150 and went to Jack in the Box and would have received better food and service. If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would. I made a reservation @5:15pm for a birthday dinner for a friend, it was for a party of 3. We ordered our food around 5:30pm we ordered 1 pepperoni pizza and 2 chicken Alfredo (pretty simple meal)..after 30mins or so we got only 1 of our pasta and our pizza & second pasta took FOREVER to come out. We told 3 different workers (one hostess & two waitress) that we are still missing a few things that we ordered. We also told OUR waitress that he forgot to bring out our second pasta..he then proceeded to tell us that it will be coming out in 5mins. Well those 5mins become an hour and then into 2hrs..I could go on forever about what we experienced but overall we complained, got a refund, & had a ruined birthday dinner. read more

Manoli's is located above the clubhouse and next to the pro shop for the Wailea Blue golf course. It's a breezy, open air location with decent but not great views. We arrived at 5:30 pm with a large group (7) and were immediately seated. At first I wondered why there were so few diners and I was a bit concerned that they all knew something I didn't. But that concern dissipated quickly once the food and drink began arriving. Manoli's makes GREAT pizza - thin, crisp crusts with exceptional toppings and sauce. The chicken wings are also something you've got to try! Crisp, meaty, and a delicious breading. Our Mai Tai's were great as was the IPA. The kids menu was just OK and could use some improvement. Not everyone is meant to work in Service Industry. Went here for Happy Hour. So bar capacity is ~30 seats and I would say 80% full. While most everyone has a drink Caia is making a few, yet well over 10 minutes before I even get eye contact, nod or any acknowledgement. The Hop Island beer, which was canned, was served in a glass, which I requested. Don't know if the beer is old, or glass not clean, but clearly floaties in it. Manolis couldn't even execute a simple take out order correctly. We walked up to the take out counter, ordered 1 pepperoni pizza and garlic mozzarella sticks. Girl at the counter asked for my cell number so she could text me when it was ready. I paid and sat down outside. 10 minutes went by, 15, 20, finally at 25 minutes I walked back in to check on my order. It was ready. I mentioned I never received a text and was told "oh, were just so busy". Sorry that's no excuse. It wouldn't be a problem but for whatever reason my order wasn't put in the warming oven with the rest of the takeout orders. So our pizza was luke warm and the garlic bread had congealed cheese on it. Not melted, it was solidified again. For what they charge I expect standard customer service at a minimum. We had such a wonderful time at Manoli's! Our server, Josh, was truly exceptional. He had this calm, kind, and wise presence that made our meal feel extra special. You can tell he has real Maui pride, so genuine and kind-hearted. The food was outstanding. The salad was fresh and delicious, and the pizza was incredible, flaky crust, great flavor, and perfectly cooked. And the Holy Manoli... absolutely to die for. A must-try!!! For a cheese pizza you can do much better going to the grocery store and grabbing a frozen one if I'm being honest. We went in last night for our usual visit and we were very disappointed. Service was slow and not great, they forgot things we ordered until we had to ask a second time after half the meal was over. The pizza has gone way downhill, crust is paper thin and not cooked through, way too much cheese and very little flavor over all. Drinks were dive bar quality if that. With all the dining options in Kihei and Wailea I don't think we will be back or recommend others to visit unless something changes. read more

By far the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant or even a fast food joint. I've traveled all over & never experienced this poor of service, we had reservations & our table ordered the same thing, only one dish of the same order came out & the other order took TWO hours, we had to ask 3 different servers, even a host. They kept telling us they'd "check on it" & "we'll go see what's going on & get it right out" although it wasn't coming out & they never came back around. then our server began to ignore us for half an hour then kept telling us it was coming out... finally after two hours it came out. Yet there was multiple 4+ bigger tables around us that came after us & left before us ordering the same food & more food. After we finally got our food which was literally just pasta, no sea food. We complained to the hosts how terrible the service was, & she tried to say it was really busy, yet when we first arrived it wasn't that busy at all. I'm a local server on island & have also had other jobs at much busier places & know for a fact this was unbelievable & unacceptable. I was baffled at the service, servers, kitchen & hosts. Our table ordered pizza which was terrible as well. Our friends recommended this place & now we will never go back, we will also inform others on island to never go to this terrible restaurant. We asked for a manager and the hosts tried to say she was busy working can I take a message?.... HUH??? Then once I finally spoke to the manager they tried to use running out of water as an excuse. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm--like the kind of people who'd help you change a tire in the rain and then offer you banana bread. If customer service were pizza, they'd be deep-dish perfection. Now, onto the actual pizza. We ordered three: two regular and one gluten-free, because we like to live dangerously and test the limits of culinary optimism. The Regulars The crust was... present. It existed. It held the toppings in place, which is technically its job, but flavor-wise? It was like chewing on a memory of bread. The sauce had all the intensity of a motivational whisper--no tang, no zest, just a vague tomato suggestion. The one redeeming hero? The pepperoni. That little disc of joy had actual flavor, like it had trained in Italy and come back with stories. The Gluten-Free This one deserves its own paragraph, if only for the trauma. I've had gluten-free pizzas that made me question my life choices, but this one made me question the entire gluten-free movement. Love the fact you can build your own pizza. It offers all choices from extra crispy to extra or no sauce. All of the toppings AND they make it easy for you to add to half or the whole pie.
