The pool club is amazing , it's like you're at a resort . They have a kiddie section with water buckets and palm trees and two big water slides , the main pool area is huge and so clean, they have plenty of umbrellas and canopy's, as well as lounge chairs . Their food section is great as well, standard beach food like chicken fingers , hot dogs , burgers stuff like that . We love it there . We will continue to sign up every year it's worth it .

Would have been nice if the officer to just leave a note so I would know for the future that it's a seasonal thing. I checked the website and it only indicated from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I called the office and was told that they couldn't do anything g but would change their website to reflect the town rules. This park is under utilized! They could at least let surrounding towns use it off season. It would be good got the community... bring g business to the city.

The only negative is that the pond has a lot of algae but other than that it's great. I come here for picnics too. Even though 4 geese call this pond their home, there's never a lot of poop on the ground which is always a plus. I believe this park to be dog friendly. This park always makes my day. We just wanted to have an afternoon by the water to relax &…read moreour cousin brought us to this beach. We had a short but sweet time. We came after hours so we didn't need to pay. Street parking was also free & easy to find on a overcast Saturday night. We enjoy the scenic drive going leading to the beach. We also did some boardwalk walking & saw some guys fishing. All in all, we have a short but sweet time.

He purchased the home and property in 1843 & traveled 3 hrs each way by steamship on the weekends. In 1975 his great-granddaughter donated his home & 7 acres to the county recreation & cultural purposes. The museum closed in 2009 due to lack of funds, however the volunteers of Friends of Cedarmere are currently restoring it. There were 2 small parking lots and a Porto potty. We walked through the beautifully manicured gardens, sat on the porch & appreciated the views. We need to make a reservation to tour the inside of the home.

This beach park is big, the website boasts over 60 acres of land. Since this is a beach slap on the sunscreen and soak up those rays, vitamin deficient folks will have no problem producing more vitamin D as the sun is scorching! There are open and covered picnic areas for you to barbecue. I think these areas require a permit and a fee and are only available to residents of the town. The beach has at least 2 life guards at every marked swimming area and these guys and gals do their job, so people please swim within the flags! Food options are limited and the concession stand is only opened on the weekends, the prices are fairly reasonable. The beach park is pet friendly and they provide baggies at certain stations so you can clean up after your pooch. There is a fee for parking $15 for residents and $20 if you're not a resident. A great place to spend a weekday or weekend to get away from the heat or just hang.

Lots of…read morecute local shopping places nearby to either quench your thirst, find a gift, or settle a rumbling stomach too, which makes this area perfect for a stroll. I like coming here with a blanket, a book, and a dash of mindfulness. It's generally pretty quiet, though people do play some sports on the court areas. In these Covid times, most people were sporting masks, or, would put on their mask if they were approaching you/walking by you. It's a wonderful little reprieve from the same old, same old. The lapping sounds of waves on the rocks will be sure to ease a troubled mind, or stir up a creative one.
