We ordered the combo seafood tofu soup with grilled beef and the beef bibimbap. They came with the side dishes. The serving size was just the right amount for a family of three. Taste was so flavorful and beats the taste of some nicer sit down Korean restaurants. Price was very reasonable too! The owner was so kind and attentive to us and even gave us a side of gochujang sauce to try. It was one of the best gochujang sauce I've had! If you don't mind eating in a food court, definitely try this place out. You won't be disappointed!

Located in SF supermarket plaza food court, plenty of parking and open seating, not too noisy, came on a weekday. 7 other restaurants in the same food court, near restrooms. Tofu soup combination with mackerel has large portion of fish and comes with fish cake, bean sprout and kimchi sides. Served hot and delicious. This was my second time ordering from here, previously tried the beef short rib soup which was served HOT and delicious with a side of what tasted like honey mustard soy sauce dipping sauce.

I eat Korean food often but I'm not an expert, I just know what I like. I've tried three dishes here so far, and all have been incredibly savory and well seasoned. The dolsot bibimbap was my favorite. It came with a very generous serving of bulgogi beef compared to other restaurants. The beef wasn't overly sweet and had the perfect tender chewy texture. The stone vessel stayed hot throughout the entire meal, which created a nice crispy texture on the rice. I tried my husband's galbitang, a large bowl of clear broth filled with beef short ribs, radish, and onion. It was tasty and comforting with a rich flavorful broth. At my first visit I ordered their veggie tofu soup which was hearty and warming, packed with zucchini, onion, and huge portions of soft tofu that soaked up the broth beautifully. As someone who follows a low-sodium diet, I found the soup broths a bit salty for my personal preference, and I needed extra rice to balance out the tofu soup. However, I know my salt preference is lower than the norm, so this is just a personal critique. All entrees came with three yummy banchan served in beautiful gold dishes and cutlery on a black wooden tray. I was surprised that I did not see any Napa cabbage kimchi among the banchan but we did get radish kimchi. Their Kimchi is not very spicy. My husband is not a seafood lover, but he ate every bite of his fish cake banchan. They also give you a package of seaweed laver! The restaurant is one of the vendors inside the SF Supermarket food court. You can order from a kiosk screen or at the counter, where the staff is very helpful if you have questions. Even though it's a food court setting, they bring the tray to your table when it's ready and you simply place your tray on their rack once you've finished bussing your own table.

I remember when this food court was empty with only a few restaurants, and was excited to see when Mansokjang was being added. I still feel this food court, located in the SF Supermarket building, is a hidden gem. Mansokjang is now finally open, and serves soondubu as well as bibimbap and other dishes (even Galbi)! The prices are on the higher side, but I still wanted to support them and try out their food. I was their first order of the day too (see photo). I decided to go with the seafood and beef soondubu, which comes with three side dishes and rice. My meal was ready in less than 10 min, and I liked that it was served in pretty gold stainless steel bowls with the traditional hot stone pot for the soondubu itself. I was also pleasantly surprised by the seaweed snack I got along with the side dishes too. I love seaweed snacks so this was perfect. The portion size was fortunately on par for what I paid, and the soup came out bubbling and steamy, as it should be. The egg was already cracked into the soup for me (usually at restaurants I crack my own egg). It still cooked perfectly with a jammy center. The banchan was pretty good. The fish cake was a little chewy. My favorite banchan was the bean sprouts. The rice was cooked perfectly, and there was plenty to go along with my soup. The flavors of the soondubu itself weren't as deep or umami as I would normally like, but it still hit the spot, especially for food court soondubu. There was a good amount of seafood and beef, and the tofu was silky and delicious. We went on a Tuesday, so it was pretty quiet, but I have also been here on a weekend when it gets pretty busy. There's ample seating, but during peak hours, it can get difficult to find a table, especially since all the tables are so huge with giant chairs. They had signage saying they were short-staffed and in need of help. It was just the owner and a worker making the food and preparing banchan when I went. I hope Mansokjang is able to grow their little business and thrive in the food court!

Tofu soup with dumplings. So tasty! Love it!

Market Day with my husband and mom. Ordered Beef short ribs and tofu soup with dumpling combo! Great food and excellent service! Our new favorite place!

**Dang Gochujang** Updating my review-Came back for the spicy pork--it's really good. The *dwaeji bulgogi* has a rich, gochujang-based spice that's flavorful with a nice kick, not overwhelming. The pork is super tender, juicy, and slightly caramelized. Only critique is the pork edges could be grilled a little bit longer to give that crunch, that bite you're looking for.

We went to SF Market for groceries tonight and decided to stop at the food court for a quick bite. So glad we did because Mansokjang was so good! Their kimchi tofu soup and spicy pork were both delicious. My husband and I shared the combo meal, and it was the perfect. What really stood out was the service. The family who owns and runs the business was incredibly attentive and welcoming. It's been a long time since we've experienced such genuine hospitality. We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it!

Very good service. Food came out quick! My beef intestine kimchi soup was deliciously spicy like how I like it! Come give it a try. You won't regret!

Once we got to the restaurant we noticed a few people waiting in the lobby ahead of us but considering what night it was,I was fine with it.We ended up waiting about 20 minutes before we got our table. I will admit fully I have zero expertise at Korean restaurant, outside of occasional visits to a BBQ spot but at traditional sit down Korean restaurant,I was out of my element.Luckily for me,the daughter has spent multiple weeks in Korea thru her military service,so I felt like I was in good hands-I let her have total control of what we were eating that night, that wasnt easy for me to do. We ended up going with Fried Chicken in spicy sauce($22.95)-Seafood Fried Rice($18.95)-Soft Tofu Stew($17.95)-Hot Stone Beef Bibimbab($19.95),which along with the courtesy banchan was so much food-but I'd never been to this restaurant-I wanted to try some things. To drink we ended up going with some Blackberry wine($14.95) and my daughter went with a Milkis($1.95) drink-I just went with water but I did have my eye on some Soju, but decided against it since I wasn't sure what I was up against "food-wise". Once the food arrived which was lightning quick-I was in heaven, the 11 small dish banchan along with our dishes,I can't tell you which was best because everything I tasted was on point and kept getting better and better. My bibimbap was so fun to eat-I enjoyed the act of mixing it all up before trying it-was so tasty. The tofu stew came out piping hot and the flavor profile was like nothing I've had before-it was super enjoyable. If I had to say though, the star of the meal was that fried chicken in spicy sauce-holy smokes-large pieces of chicken drowning in the spicy sauce,it was a flavor overload that I couldnt get enough of-I loved them-I think I ate 80% of them-sorry wife and daughter-I couldnt help myself, they were awesome,I'd always heard how good Korean chicken was but now I can vouch for it-it's really really great-do yourself a favor and get this dish-it's awesome. In closing,if you ever find yourself in the mood to try a traditional Korean restaurant in the Sacramento area,I would without a doubt recommend Modurang Korean restaurant-it was a pretty amazing place and I'm glad I tried it-hope you feel the same way if u try it one day. PS-forgot to mention that Blackberry wine was delicious-another surprise of the night-very enjoyable.

We got the seafood tofu soup, white meaning no spice. It was packed with seafood and we like it a lot. I wanted the fried flounder but they came out and said they were out of it. crap. they suggested the mackerel but that is the salty one but the wife said to try it but it was salty , She didn't like it much. The bones are big so easy to get rid of them. It was just ok. I think we won't order this again. Not as good as the flounder. We got the Galbi but it was really fatty tonight. Good flavor but less meat. Also got the fried chicken which is always yummy. Comes out really hot. It's funny that the server thought we ordered a lot but ate most of it . She don't know me hahaha. And while the wings are also excellent (I didn't try any of the other offerings), it is the smashburger that I highly recommend, and for which I am adding my 5-star rating. Finding TTB was a bit of an adventure. There is no visible signage from the parking lot. You enter from the parking lot under a sign that reads "SF Super Market". Then you walk toward the supermarket ahead, but turn left to go under the sign that says Saigon Street Food Court. And then you need to locate the TTB counter inside. And for this smashburger fan, the journey was definitely worth it. The smashburger patties are large, with the requisite crispy edges, yet juicy and beefy in the middle. And even with all that goodness inside the bun, the bun itself remains perfectly intact. It is a giant, yet easily navigable sandwich, and it is delicious. Just the right amount of melted cheese and condiments, everything fresh-tasting. We also tried the onion rings (perfectly crispy) and the wings (with a crunchy coating over juicy, tasty chicken). The fries were a bit thicker than I like, as I am a shoestring-fries fan. But they had a bit of crunch on the outside and were soft on the inside. The chef/owner, Young, took our order, went back inside the kitchen, and then brought everything out to our table. He is a terrific guy, and so pleasant to interact with. With eight or so restaurants in the food court, there are plenty of tables and chairs for eating inside. The whole burger experience was comfortable, and I definitely look forward to returning. All of Young's offerings are fairly priced, and as should be obvious, I highly recommend TTB for an outstanding smashburger experience.
