I had a very minor repair, and was afraid that they would not be able to help me because it was so minor. Also, I did contact them because they are right across the street from my work place. I am so glad I did. Honestly, I did go to "a" dealership, I have a Chevy HHR 2010- and received no service, at that "un-named" dealership- literally they did not even acknowledge that I was there. So I left! Here at Manuel's Body Shop their customer service was amazing and reassured me they can do small minor repairs as well as large jobs. They even do "oil changes"!!! So they fixed my interior door handle, quick and it was ready in no time. The shop is super clean, and very professional- they are busy folks but won't hesitate to help in every way they can. I have an older Corvette and was nervous about having anyone work on the car. Manuel Lopez did an impressive, fantastic job on the paint. There is nowhere on the car that you can see any color change in any light from any angle. I'm still very happy with the paint job. However, by no fault of their own, there were defects in two of the parts they ordered. The bumper and a hood decal. Although they came flawed from the supplier, they accepted and installed them anyway. The bumper was wavy, not straight. Although they tried to correct it, it never looked quite right. The hood decal was also flawed. It's not their fault. But here it is 4 years later and they still have not completed the work. I was consistently LIED TO that the part was on order or backordered or would be here next month. I finally gave up and took it in to another body shop. I had to pay, but the other shop fixed the bumper and the decal and did an exceptional job. Also, since parts would take a long time to order, they would take a long time to get my car back into their schedule. In all, my car was in their shop for a little over 3 months. With my positive experiences elsewhere, I'll not be going back to Manuel Lopez. read more

This shop is great! I know how choosing a place to take your car can be difficult. It can be hard for people to trust mechanics because there are countless stories of people being ripped off. Not to worry here though, because these guys are very trustworthy. I knew about this shop because the company I work for gets their vehicles serviced here, and they were the first to come to mind when I needed body work done on my personal vehicle. All the employees here are very nice and helpful. I ran into some issues with the insurance company that was paying for my repairs and the guys here were able to give me great advice since they deal with insurance companies all the time. Luckily the advice I got helped, and I was able to clear up my dispute with the insurance company and get my car back to normal. The repairs took a couple of days and I got my car back squeaky clean, as they made sure to wash it and even put on a light wax. I highly recommend the services here, these guys are 5 stars! read more

I was recommended to Manuel Lopez Body and Frame by someone in the industry that I really trust...to the point that I didn't get other estimates. I added one star for amazing customer service, Manuel Jr really went above and beyond and was very friendly, as was the other gentleman that works in the main office with him. Other then that I had a really bad experience. I took my car to Manuel Lopez Body and Frame and the quote seemed very high which again was fine because of the referral, I was rear ended and had minimal damage but of course wanted to get it fixed since it was not my fault. I dropped my car off and ubered straight to the airport for a work meeting, I told Manuel no rush on the car as long as it was done by Friday when i flew back home so i wouldn't be car-less. I then took my $30 uber from the airport to the shop to find that they legitimately missed the damage, not really sure what they fixed but the dent was still there. I was very frustrated as I had just landed after a long work trip and was ready to get home. The first part of this process that really rubbed me the wrong way was the instant denial, they were convinced the work had been done and then shrunk in the drying process when it was very obvious that it was never touched. after going back and fourth they finally admitted it was an oversight, Manuel was clearly very embarrassed and ensured they would fix it asap. He offered to get me a rental car which i obviously took him up on as i drive often for work and would have been doomed with out a vehicle. I am all about family businesses so i tried to be understanding and kept my cool. ***On a side note to make my day better (not Manuel's fault) the car enterprise gave me was disgusting, whomever had it before me must have hotboxed it with weed for a week straight-so that was really fun the next day when I had to drive my boss to a meeting in my weed rental car*** Anyway, when my car was done Manuel was very nice and offered to meet me at my office drop it off, and take back the rental car (Thank goodness). When he brought my car back to me i was super sick (more to come on this later) so i wasn't in the mood to go over every detail but noticed there was a clear bubble in the paint job (annoying) he apologized and said to bring it back by and he would buff that out, he also said that i could call him with credit card info when i got the chance. I then mentioned i was feeling awful and was about to head home and sleep off my sickness so i probably wouldnt get around to it until next week, no big deal it seemed. I went to drive home and noticed that they left 2 tools in my car which i thought was super unprofessional on top of all of this (annoyance level just keeps going up)....Now for the grand finale where i finally had my "aha moment" never again tired of trying to be nice: Turns out I had a very serious case of Pneumonia and was taken to the hospital in the middle of the night. The next morning, in the hospital, i get a call from Manuel that wakes me up, I answer the phone and Manuel gives me some line that "He needed me to pay today so they could close out the register for the weekend" I then mentioned i was in the hospital and not near my credit card and he was insistant i paid "for their system"- first of all i know this is BS, its a small business and they definitely could have waited until next week to get my payment, secondly my car wasn't even fully fixed i was hoping to wait to pay until they buffed out the clear paint bubbles, lastly he didn't even offer to give me a discount for how horrible of a job they did/ how much of a hassle this process was (that part is not a big deal but after how bad it was i honestly thought he would at least offer)- This was my final straw i was livid, i literally had to get out of my hospital bed and go find my stuff so i could get him paid without causing any drama. Needless to say i did not go back to get the bubble buffed out and donated the car tools to goodwill. read more

I was involved in an accident with my Lexus 2006 GS300. The damage was on the right front side of the car. For the most part, the bumper, the front quarter panel, the lights, several components under the hood, a new new wheel, strut, wheel assembly, repair to the driver side door, and the hood had to be repaired. The insurance estimated the repairs at around $11,000. I was very concerned that my car would never be the same nor would they be able to match the white pearl paint color. I worked closely with Alex Lopez who kept me up-to-date through my entire repair. From the first phone call, they handled everything with the insurance company from my initial tow from the accident to the delivery of the car. When I saw my car I was shocked at the amazing job they had done. The car looked brand new, the paint matched and they completely detailed the car inside and out. I called them on the phone and told them that I had a city tree branch come through the roof of my RV. They told me they wouldn't be able to give me an estimate till a week later. I showed up on a Thursday afternoon Emmanuel Lopez looked at the damage and kept the photos that I had taken of it and he told me that I would have an estimate done Monday which you would email to me. It's now a week later and I have called them find out what the holdup was I was told that he would call me back and he never did. This is a week later after I first showed him the RV and two weeks since the damage. I have a hole in my roof that I've had to patch myself temporarily in the meantime. I still have not heard from them. They will not hear from me that's for sure. Very unprofessional! read more

I highly recommend Manuel Lopez Body & Frame. I was involved in a minor collision accident recently & I haven't had an accident in 20 years! Their shop is located directly across the street from my work and they are always busy with car repairs. I looked them up on yelp & on their website and saw that they received really good reviews. In meeting with Alex at the shop, he offered to fix my vehicle while I was away on an upcoming vacation. He advised me that my vehicle would be safe at night & locked in one of their warehouses. No vehicles are ever left out. It was all about convenience for me & I was really appreciative of their service they offered & they didn't charge me any additional storage fees. I was fortunate enough to work with Alex, and also meet the Owner, Manuel, along with Manuel Jr; this is a family ran operation & I can't recommend them enough. They are easy to work with & offer exceptional customer service. They returned my car to me clean & detailed. They even touched up a small rust spot on my hood (with the paint for my bumper).
